Poem: Once Upon A Time There was a time that was once upon. That was long ago. That was forgotten. That used to be but is no more. That used to be… but can’t anymore. We try until we do. We do… until we can’t. The last will and testament. The last breath, the certain surrogacy of a transformed life. The womb of the abomination of desolation. Cleanse your ears from lies of spectral whispers hidden in darkened wind. Today marks the beginning. Today heralds the end. Let us converge in the middle, where the tick of the clock can still be heard, before the final tock, before... time runs out. Once upon a time there was no time. Only a deafening silence that echoed through the crimson-painted walls and the blood-stained bathrooms. The air was heavy with unspoken screams. A night that would never come, a breath that could never be drawn again. Fill the womb again and hope for whispered memories. Once upon again there is only silence. Once upon again there are only wistful silent memories. Forgive me… for all is lost. Poem: Darkness Darkness creeps up on my soul. I smell the burning embers of oblivion in my heart, singeing the hairs of my mind. I see the devoid faces smiling at me
