So far I've loved watching all their origins, their relationships starting, the entire lighthouse scenarios and everything growing from there. I was also glad to see Psylock growing and evolving as a character. There is so much good stuff h...
I thought the character was extremely sweet natured. Wasn't sure how I felt about how Captain Britain was treating her, but I'm just now getting more familiar with his character and all his trauma.
Megan is an amazing character and I liked seeing her origin, and evolution as a character (From the creature, to finally being able to change her form. Just from the limited I saw of her on the first few issues (when it transitioned in Exca...
Another comic series I'm reading, as I described before, is X-Men Chronologically (From beginning to end). I just got done catching up on Captain Britain history, which I wanted to read before transitioning into Excalibur.
Overall I loved the entire run, but I found some better than others. Some of the plotlines seem setup for long-term payoff which never happened (hoping to get that in the next few volumes).
one. Some of it was confusing and hard to find. Continuity issues that happeneding between 49-50 when they suddenly got cancelled. I haven't ready Volumes 2, 3 and so forth but that's coming up soon. First I'm going to take some time to rea...
I just finished up Wildcats Volume 1 #50 (the entire first run.) Overall I liked it but did get a bit annoyed at the end with the time jumping plotlines. I mean jumping through 3 different time jumps to get to the point. Without much real e...
Alright, I have a few things to post about. So first off let's start with Comics. I have been reading Wildstorm (every single comic in the entire continuity) and so far I've worked through quite a bit of them.
excalibur. I've heard nothing but good things about a lot of his older stuff, and storylines pre-excalibur. I'm doing this BEFORE starting to read through of Excalibur.
the essentials first. (Skimming the stuff I've read, and reading the stuff I haven't) then I'll be going through the more complete one and do the same thing. That way I understand all his history and backstory fully BEFORE he joined
So because this is mostly catch up I grabbed two Omnibus's from that character. 1 was earlier which was all the essential reading BEFORE Excalibur and the other which is the same thing just far more complete. I'm going to be reading...
I'm taking some time to go back and fill in the gaps of his origins and early history that I'm missing from before, that and also Megan is a membe of Excalibur so I'm catching up on her history as well at the same time.
I have read a lot of the early stuff from Captain Britain when I read through everything covering Psylock's origin and her attachment to her brother in her origin stories. But now as I'm shifting into Excalibur and since he plays such a big...
I am working on an X-Men/X-Title read through. Chronologically. From start to finish. I've already worked my way up to the start of Excalibur and all the associated titles around that same time period and I'm moving through them at a pretty...
Captain Britain is a Marvel character that dates back to around the 1960s. Very early character with a long and rich history. His history is entertwined with his sister Psylock and she was the reason I originally started reading about his c...
Psylocke has always been of interest, and I'm reading all hers because right now she's a major X-Men character. I'm just catching all of Captain Britain because of his connections with her, and how big of a role he plays in excalibur.
I thought I'd read all the Captain Britain up until this point, but I did some research and now I started the big omnibus that covers everything related to their meeting, relationship, relationship dynamics, and so forth until the end.
And I'm seeing Megan for the first time, and from this one issue (Excalibur 0) he seems very.. .emotional abusive toward her, yet she's madly in love with him. She's a very well written character so far.
I have read most of his individual history but I have NOT read the relationship dynamics with him and Megan yet. I'm doing a full read through of every x-title ever made chronologically. Here I am at the beginning of Excalibur
I have already read most of his history. His creation, his interactions with Psylock from the past, and all his trauma and history from before showing up in Excalibur. I've been specifically interested in his relation with Megan.
