Kurohyō 1: the postgame boss ranking
Story spoilers below, including the final opponents.
Finish the story, load your clear data into Premium Adventure and return to Kodo's ranking setup in the Hotel District. You need to have unlocked Kamurocho's strongest ranking through its substory. The boss ladder is a separate option, not another name for the ordinary street ranking.
You start at rank 12 and can challenge up to three places above you. Advancing past opponents includes their first-time prizes, so you don't need to fight every intermediate rank just to collect its item.
These are stronger versions of the story bosses. The top two are level 50. Don't arrive expecting the same difficulty as their first encounter.

THE CONDITIONS THAT STILL MATTER
Makabe's fight still makes leg injuries a particular concern. Shima's still requires you to avoid damaging his head. Switching to a stronger style doesn't remove those restrictions.
For Shima, check the actual attacks your style uses. A throw isn't automatically safe just because you didn't press punch. Extreme Softness has a useful normal throw for this fight, but its blue Heat action is not a safe substitute. Don't spend your way into this match and then lose by using a move that violates the condition.
With Yuki, let him approach and avoid feeding strikes into his catches. Aramaki also punishes careless approaches. Against Amamiya, don't mistake the pause in his combination for its end. Wait for the later hits before attempting your reply. Against Shinjo, make room between exchanges so you have somewhere to go when his Heat attacks begin.
Before the expensive matches, heal, repair injuries, check your recovery supplies and save. Winning the final fight pays ¥700,000, but the entry was ¥500,000. Your net gain is ¥200,000 before item costs.
Keep the Premium Adventure save separate from the clear save you use for a new playthrough. The boss ladder belongs to your postgame cleanup; don't overwrite the other save just because both came from the same finished story.
