Kurohyō 1 substories: Chapter 9
Finish the early “Ukyo Joins DIS!?” step before leaving this chapter. It is reported unavailable to start in Chapter 10 and can block the much larger gang chain.
1. Asking for Trouble / 不良志願
Requires: Kingdom Come and The Last Complaint.
Start: Tokumatsu on Millennium Tower East Street.
He wants directions to gangs. The required answers and follow-ups are:
• Diablo: Suppon Street, すっぽん通り. Go there and defeat the three men. Receive ¥500.
• Kingdom: Pink Alley, ピンク通り裏. Speak to him again, then go there and win the next fight. Receive ¥1,000.
• DIS: Children's Park, 児童公園. Give that answer, go to the park entrance and defeat the final group.
Completion reward: Charismatic Photo and 800 EXP. Other location answers only send you through unhelpful conversations.
2. Father and Daughter / 父と娘
Requires: Job Hunting at MEB?
Start: the Taihei Boulevard junction just north of Gelateria.
Meet the photographer, then go to the far northwestern Hotel District. Choose to help him and beat the three men. Reward: Rekindle Gold and 800 EXP.
3. Follow Kingdom / キングダムを追え
Requires: Mars Fighters' Autograph and Battle with Akagi.
Start: the students at the intersection northeast of Theater Square.
Listen to the conversation, question the student beside the Taihei Boulevard Matsuya, then speak to the clerk outside Poppo in Nakamichi Alley. Return to Theater Square and defeat the two Kingdom members. Reward: 800 EXP.
4. Yankee Auditions / ヤンキー・オーディション
Requires: Falling in Love.
Start: the intersection north of SHINE.
Pick up the dropped audition invitation. Show it to the assistant at Public Park 3 and defeat the two actors. Reward: ¥50,000 and 500 EXP.
5. The Boss's Only Daughter / 組長のひとり娘
Requires: Yankee Auditions.
Start: Miya near Choraku on Taihei Boulevard West.
Accept the job. Question the host near Stardust and the couple at Theater Square's west end. Then go to Nakamichi Alley by Tsukahara's dojo and beat the two men who stop you. Speak to Sarina near Mach Bowl behind Theater Square. Finally, go to the Champion District, find the couple and defeat the three pursuers.
Receive a Toughness Infinity, then report to Miya outside Bantam for ¥100,000 and 600 EXP. The report is part of completing the job, so don't stop after the rescue.
6. Conclusion / 決着
Requires: Follow Kingdom.
Start: Shiraishi in front of Millennium Tower.
Defeat him, then go to Shichifuku Parking Lot. Fight the Kingdom group alongside Shiraishi, then defeat Matsunami. Bring enough medicine for the whole sequence. Reward: the Thunder volume of the secret book and 2,000 EXP.
Completion warning: use the partner Heat Action ダッシュサッカーボールキック, the running soccer-ball kick, during the group battle. Wait for Shiraishi to hold an opponent, approach with Heat and press Cross. This is the single-player opportunity for that animation. Some older English descriptions name Aono as your partner here; the Japanese walkthroughs identify Shiraishi.
7. Beautiful Aerial Killer: Suzuki / 超絶美麗な空中殺法 鈴木一
Ask reporter Shibuya for the interview. Equip Lucha, find Suzuki in the northeastern Hotel District and win. Report back for ¥10,000, 400 EXP and the High Dropkick training lead, ハイドロップキック. Use 鈴木一 to identify him if your translation renders the given name differently.
8. Find the Cats: 90 / にゃんこを探せ 90匹目
Requires: the 80-cat report. Finish the next map and return to Tsukahara for 1,500 EXP. The final eleven cats come in Chapter 10.
