Kurohyō 1 substories: Chapter 4
This is a busy chapter for side stories. It unlocks a fighting style, the street ranking and the Death Corps chain.
1. Reunion with Yuki / 悠木との再会
Start: after Yuki's message, near Mach Bowl behind Theater Square.
Accept his lesson and win the rematch. He still catches careless striking strings, so step around committed attacks before answering. Reward: Ancient Martial Arts and 1,000 EXP.
2. Shiraishi's Home-Cooking / 白石の手料理
Requires: Bowling Tips.
Start: the back alley connecting Tenkaichi and Nakamichi streets.
Choose yellowtail with daikon, ブリ大根, the third option in the Japanese dialogue. Every choice completes this substory for 500 EXP, but that dish earns a Lucky Amulet during his Chapter 6 cabaret conversation.
3. Delinquent Rebirth / 不良更生
Requires: The Truth Behind the Rumors.
Start: outside Poppo in Nakamichi Alley.
Intervene when Sasaki approaches the store and defeat him. Reward: 400 EXP.
4. Kuroda's Fate / 黒田との因縁
Requires: Delinquent Rebirth.
Start: Suppon Street near the Tenkaichi Poppo.
Approach Kuroda and defeat his three Death Corps men. Reward: 400 EXP.
5. Death Corps' Revenge / 死霊兵団の報復
Requires: Kuroda's Fate.
Start: Shichifuku Street West near Children's Park.
Defeat Shido and the other two gang members. Reward: 500 EXP.
6. Shido / シド
Requires: Death Corps' Revenge.
Start: the Hotel District.
Respond to the Death Corps members asking for help, continue north and speak to Shido. Defeat Kuroda, a level-10 Weapon Master user. Reward: 400 EXP.
7. Kamurocho's Strongest Ranking / 神室町最強ランキング
Start: the Hotel District, where three delinquents are confronting the afro-haired organizer.
Beat the three men and accept the invitation. Reward: 500 EXP and ranking access. The ranking has six further milestone substories, so this introduction alone does not complete that part of the list.
8. Whistles of Fear / 恐怖の口笛
Requires: Find Daisuke!
Start: the schoolgirls near the Tenkaichi gate.
Hear the rumor, go to Pink Alley and choose to investigate whether the sound is really a ghost. Defeat Nekota. Reward: 500 EXP and Rekindle Puncick, リキンデル・パンキック.
9. Delinquent Hunter / ヤンキー狩り
Requires: Ootoro Delivery Service.
Start: outside Dragon Palace on Park Boulevard.
Question the students, then work east along the boulevard, speaking to each fallen victim. After the victim near West Park, head south to Shichifuku Street East and defeat the hunter. Reward: 500 EXP.
10. Delicate Gifts / 壊れやすい贈り物
Requires: Delinquent Hunter.
Start: Takaya inside Stardust.
Accept the delivery and take the present to Shoko in Theater Square. Walk around pedestrians: the third collision breaks the gift. A failed delivery can be retried. Reward: Lucky Bracelet, ラッキーブレス, and 500 EXP.
11. Historical Secret Technique: Goro Kimura / 歴史に埋もれた絶技 木村吾郎
Ask reporter Shibuya for the interview. Equip Ancient Martial Arts, find Kimura behind New Serena and win. Return to Shibuya. Reward: 100 EXP, ¥10,000 and the Smart High Kick training lead. If he refuses, finish Yuki's rematch and check your equipped style.
12. Find the Cats: 40 / にゃんこを探せ 40匹目
Requires: the 30-cat report. Collect the next marked group and return to Tsukahara for 750 EXP.
