Kurohyō 1 walkthrough: Chapter 2, Show of Strength

Kurohyō 1 walkthrough: Chapter 2, Show of Strength Chapter 2 gives you room to build Tatsuya up, but keep at least ¥10,000 for the required JeweL visit. 1. Collect the card key, leave the room and speak with Taizan to learn Boxing. Talk to the Kuki attendant to watch Hyuga's match. 2. On leaving the arena, Tsukahara asks for help finding a cat in Public Park 3. Stop where you hear meowing and press Circle on the next meow. This starts the cat-map chain. Return to him as you finish each marked group; finding cats also contributes to later training discounts. 3. Before moving on, deal with “Ukyo Joins DIS!?” if you completed “DIS's Scout” in Chapter 1. Saki starts it outside Dragon Heat. It is the early link in a long gang storyline, and it has been reported unavailable to start in Chapter 10. Finishing it now avoids a much bigger cleanup problem. 4. Go to JeweL on Shichifuku Street East. A group of Kamuro West High delinquents attacks outside. More opponents join as the fight continues. Concentrate on finishing one target at a time so the group does not build up around you. 5. Enter JeweL with at least ¥10,000. After the club scene, answer Kuki's call. The following street event introduces Natsuki and gives you Mayuko Hanakiyo card No. 1, starting the trading-card activity. 6. Enter the Kuki office in the Tenkaichi back alley and speak to the boss in the inner room. Return to the underground accommodation and rest. Talk to Saki in the locker room when ready for the match. Boss: Sho Hyuga, level 8, Mixed Martial Arts. Hyuga leaves openings while taunting and is less troublesome defensively than Yuki will be next chapter. Use those openings for a short attack string or a grab, then recover your stamina. His Heat sequence ends with a tackle that should be avoided rather than blocked. Create space, let the attack finish and move back in when he is recovering. The match pays ¥50,000. Useful detour: finish “At Stardust” on Tenkaichi Street. Help the host outside, accept the invitation inside, then visit Emoto Clinic near the Tenkaichi Matsuya. The initial treatment is free and the substory gives ¥10,000 plus 1,000 EXP. Normal later treatment costs ¥5,000 and heals injuries as well as health. “Chased Woman” also becomes available around this part of the story and introduces SHINE with a free visit. If an early Chapter 2 marker is missing, complete the required JeweL scene and check again. The older walkthroughs disagree about the exact point at which those two optional events first appear.
