Kurohyō: Ryū ga Gotoku Shinshō: where to start

Kurohyō: Ryū ga Gotoku Shinshō: where to start All right, next up is the first Kurohyō. This is the PSP game starring Tatsuya Ukyo, also called Black Panther. The sequel, Kurohyō 2: Ryū ga Gotoku Ashura-hen, is a separate game. Make sure the guide you're following is for the first one, especially when you're looking up fighting styles, side quests and completion requirements. A quick note for anyone playing in English: TeamK4L's translation is a fan patch. Their download page currently lists version 1.2 for the first game. It requires your own copy of the game; the patch is not the game itself. The same page still describes hostess translation work as unfinished, so don't assume every conversation will be covered just because the main story is readable. Names can also differ between the English patch and older guides. This series will cover the story, combat, styles, training, substories, collectibles, jobs, minigames and the completion requirements. I'll separate the story walkthroughs from the other guides so you can find what you need without reading through the ending. One thing to clear up now: this is a PSP release. It doesn't have a PlayStation Network trophy list. It does have its own completion records and titles, including bronze, silver, gold and platinum classifications. Those are in-game awards. Check your completion records at Tatsuya's home or the temporary accommodation. The full checklist covers seven hostesses, 36 trading cards, 107 food and drink entries, 59 Heat Actions, 77 titles and 14 minigame requirements. Those numbers aren't a claim that the whole game can be finished in one run. Some content needs clear data, and some titles require ad hoc multiplayer. A completely solo player should know that before aiming for everything. Keep separate saves as you move through the chapters, and keep your clear-data save after the ending. I'll cover the postgame choices separately because they matter. Premium Adventure and Premium New Game do not preserve progress in the same way.
