RYU GA GOTOKU KENZAN: ALL 20 COMMISSIONS Commissions occupy Memo Pad entries 101-120. All can progress at day, evening or night once their story and prerequisite conditions are met. Chapter-stage numbers below follow the KHHsubs walkthrough. Pigeon commissions usually arrive near Gion's southern entrance. Other jobs begin with a person or a letter inside Kiryu's house. Read the letters beside the Gion exit, then leave the menu to trigger the associated event. Complete Gion business before the late-game access cutoff. 101. The Ironclad Bill Chapter 5-1. Speak to the fallen kakemawari on Kamemachi Lane, behind Tsuruya. Find Kumanosuke in the sushi restaurant on northern Gion's main street. Choose top to challenge him, then win the unarmed fight. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,000 EXP. 102. The Man Who Won't Move Chapter 5-2. Receive the pigeon letter near the southern gate. Visit Chidoriya at the eastern end of the southern lane, east of Komaki's dojo. Speak to the seated man and beat him twice. The first round ends in one hit; the second is a normal fight. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 103. Driving Away the Dog Chapter 5-5, after 102. Receive the next pigeon letter. Buy two food items, such as two 10-Mon manju from Arigataya. Visit the dog by the gambling den in eastern Gion. Offer food with top twice, confirming each item. Rewards: 5,000 Mon and 1,500 EXP. 104. Storage Lockers Chapter 5-5. Speak to the man at Gion's southern storage lockers. Visit Suiten Inari in the southwest corner and inspect the roof from the shrine area's northeast corner. Choose top to retrieve the key and return it. Rewards: the locker key and 1,000 EXP. More importantly, this enables locker-key pickups throughout the game. 105. The Cry for Help Chapter 5-13, after 103. Receive the pigeon letter near the lockers. Find the man and yujo in the northeast alley, east of Ebisuya. Approach them, then win the fight. Rewards: 5,000 Mon and 1,000 EXP. 106. The Poor Man is a Master Chapter 6-1, after 105, carrying at least 5 Ryo. Start with the three men in the western-central lane, northwest of Tenguya. Choose top twice. You pay 5 Ryo and receive Incomprehensible Calligraphy. Take it to Ebisuya and choose top to sell for 10 Ryo. Net gain: 5 Ryo, plus 1,000 EXP. Request 36 blocks this commission while active, so do this first. 107. The Targeted Yujo Chapter 6-1, after 106. Receive the pigeon letter at Gion's southern entrance. Speak to Mochizukiya's attendant in the western alley immediately off the southern half of the main street. Enter, wait through the bodyguard assignment and defeat the intruder. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 108. Substitute Gatekeeper Chapter 6-1, after 101. Speak to the gatekeepers in front of the mahjong attendant in northern Gion. Choose bottom to take the shift. For customers one through six, use: bottom, top, top, bottom, bottom, top then top again. Defeat the refused customers who attack. This produces the full payment: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 109. Debt Collection Chapter 6-1, after 108. Speak to the Azamiya man near the southern gate. Visit the debt collectors at the house in eastern Rakugai, north of the eastern save point. Any proposed contest is fine, but refuse to participate with bottom twice. Go around the house's north side and refuse to release Kokichi with bottom twice. Defeat him, then report back. Rewards: 5,000 Mon and 1,500 EXP. Joining the contest or letting him flee loses the payment. 110. Move On Like Men Chapter 6-1, after 109. Find the trapped men in the passage north of Nakanokura. Choose bottom. Approach from the passage's right-hand/eastern side and press the displayed prompts to push them west toward Gion's main street. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,000 EXP. 111. Ebisuya Bodyguard Chapter 6-1, after 104. Read Ebisuya's letter at home, speak to the owner, then step outside and defeat the samurai. Choose top afterward, offering to buy back his sword. The solution changes to a loan; you do not pay the advertised 50 Ryo. Best rewards: 2 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. Middle gives 1 Ryo; bottom gives only 5,000 Mon and 500 EXP. 112. Judgment Chapter 7-5, after 107. Read the home letter and speak to Nakanokura's owner. Enter the debtor's house near Rakugai's southeast exit and choose bottom to stay. Inspect the plate, choose top twice, then bottom to take the pot AND scroll. Have Koetsu value them at his Kawara Street mansion: 10 Ryo for the pot, 2 Ryo for the scroll. Return 1 Ryo to the owner. Net gain: 11 Ryo, plus 1,500 EXP. Visiting Koetsu here can advance the main story to 7-6. If that scene interrupts the appraisal, re-enter the mansion afterward. Taking the plate itself earns nothing. 113. The Shadow Star Chapter 7-5, after 111. Read Tsubaki's letter at home. Visit her in Nakanokura, then speak to the merchant seated on the steps south of the eastern shrine. Repeat the home-letter, Tsubaki, merchant sequence for all three letters. Finally read the thank-you letter at home and leave the menu. Dialogue choices do not change the result. Rewards: Edo Women's Sachet and 1,500 EXP. 114. The Grudge Chapter 8-1, after 113. Speak to the man outside Kiryu's house in Gion. Complete three fights: one swordsman, one brawler, then two brawlers and a swordsman. You cannot use your swords here, so use grabs or street objects. Rewards: 2 Ryo and 10,000 EXP. 115. Ohi the Swift Chapter 8-1, after 110. Read Kikuya's head clerk's letter. Meet him west of Gion's eastern shrine and choose bottom. Find Ohi by the eastern save point, then in the northeast alley. Intercept her running loop around the northeastern block by running the opposite way. Approach her with the rival recruiter near the north end of Ebisuya's lane; choose bottom and defeat his three men. Intercept her second loop around that block. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 116. The Old Man's True Colours Chapter 9-3, after 115. Speak to the man by Kiryu's secret entrance in northern Rakugai, then the man near Gion's southern gate. Find the old man and his guards near the western end of Rakugai's northern street and defeat them. Return to Hanbei in Gion's west-central lane, southwest of Tsuruya. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 117. Corruption Chapter 9-5, after 112. Speak to the man outside Kiryu's house and choose top. Go to the western Farms road below Rendai Field and defeat the trafficker threatening a girl. Continue to the building beside southern Mountain Road for two more fights. Eliminate archers early in both rounds. Rewards: 5 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 118. The Runaway Customer's Motive Chapter 10-11, after 114. Speak to the clerk outside Kiryu's house. Find the debtor outside Rakugai's udon shop. Follow him to Cliff Road and defeat the five attackers. Deal with the grappling martial artist early. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP. 119. Eat Up Chapter 10-11, after 118. Receive Imakita's pigeon letter near Gion's entrance. Bring any food item to the building wall on the southern east-west lane, opposite the dojo/locker area. Examine the wall and hand over the food. Rewards: 2,000 Mon and 1,500 EXP. 120. Gift Request Chapter 10-11, after 119. Receive Imakita's next letter. Bring a hairpin from Arigataya or Ebisuya to the same wall; Maiden's Hairpin does NOT work. Read the note, speak to the yujo just east of the wall near the dojo, then confront Imakita behind the eastern shrine. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 1,500 EXP.
