Like a Dragon: Ishin! Shogi Guide, Part 2: All 11 Challenge Video Chapters If you're playing beyond the three wins needed for the Completion List, this index takes you straight to each challenge in xSelphie1999xHDGaming's remake video. The upload is dated February 26, 2023, and its description identifies the platform as PS5. An important limit: the timestamps and version have been checked, but the moves in the footage have not been independently verified. This is a video companion, not a complete written solution for Challenges 2–10 or the Final Challenge. The written four-move route for Challenge Match 1 is in Part 1 of this guide. You can repeat this first challenge rather than working through the whole series. 2. Challenge Match 2: 1:12–3:15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QySDmdJwPBI&t=72s 3. Final Challenge: 26:52 onward https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QySDmdJwPBI&t=1612s The creator identifies this as the challenge unlocked after completing the first ten. How to follow a match without losing your place Open the matching challenge in the game, then pause the video once its starting board is visible. Compare the pieces on the board and the captured pieces held beside it. Don't begin copying moves until both positions match. Follow one player move at a time. Watch whether the piece comes from the board or from the captured-piece tray, and whether the player accepts promotion. Make that move in your game, let the opponent respond, and pause again before continuing. A drop and an ordinary move to the same square are not interchangeable. When making your own notes, use a single coordinate system throughout. One simple option is to count rows from the top of the screen and columns from the left, both from 1 to 9. Write the piece, its starting square, its destination, and whether it promotes. For a drop, record “drop” instead of a starting square. Include the opponent's reply so you can spot a mismatch early. If the opponent makes a different reply, stop. Check for a missed promotion, a move made with the wrong piece, or a drop mistaken for a board move. Don't keep entering the remaining moves onto a position that no longer matches. Restarting the challenge and replaying the verified portion is safer than guessing. The version check matters here. A solution labeled only “Ishin” may cover the original 2014 release. This index points to a video explicitly described as the PS5 remake, but that identification alone does not verify every move or establish that an older written solution is unchanged.
