RYU GA GOTOKU KENZAN: ALL 20 BOUNTIES Bounties are entries 121-140 in the Memo Pad. Start at the police box in northwest Rakugai in Chapter 6. Accept the officer's offer with the bottom option, then choose bottom again to finish the explanation. Read every new poster separately. A target will not appear just because their chapter has begun. Chapter-stage numbers below follow the KHHsubs walkthrough. Unless noted, each bounty also awards 1,500 EXP. Money and equipment listed are the best available rewards. 121. Gonzaemon the Formless Chapter 6-1, any time. After reading his poster, find him in southeast-central Rakugai, on the lane west of the eastern save point. He blocks and evades well. Bait a sword attack, roll around him and hit his back. Reward: 1 Ryo. 122. Yata the Fake Ninja Chapter 6-1, night. Find Yata near the middle of Forest Road, west of the northern side path. He has two ninja helpers and carries a greatsword. Clear the helpers, then punish his missed swings rather than chasing every dodge. Reward: 1 Ryo. 123. Baian the Dull Chapter 6-5, day. Speak to him on northern River Road, near the riverside structures. Choose top to accept an unarmed duel. You cannot draw your swords, but the objects on the ground remain usable. Use them and Heat actions against his counters. Rewards: 2 Ryo and Tetsumaru Teachings, a weapon recipe book. 124. Umaru the Bullet Chapter 7-4, night. Find him on southern River Road. Use swords to reduce his health if needed, then switch to unarmed for the finishing blow. Rewards: 2 Ryo and Superior Tamahagane. A sword finish reduces the payment to 1 Ryo. 125. Hikozaemon the Blade Chapter 7-5, day. Find him midway along Forest Road. This ninja-style boss uses smoke bombs and fire breath. Stay mobile, avoid attacking straight into his guard and use quick openings. Reward: 1 Ryo. 126. Kinta the Brawler Chapter 7-8, any time. Find him in Rakugai's central alley, below the northern row of shops. Finish him unarmed for 2 Ryo; a sword finish pays 1 Ryo. You may use swords before the final hit. The Aramitama Jewel is awarded either way. 127. Monnosuke of Rakugai Chapter 8-1, day. Despite his name, he is in Gion, on the west-to-east street leading from the western save point toward the main street. Defeat five helpers before concentrating on him. Gion prevents sword use, so use loose objects or an equipped special weapon. Reward: 1 Ryo. 128. Seitakichi the Palanquin Killer Chapter 8-1, day. Find him in northeastern Gion, just north of the eastern save point. He carries a gun. Close the distance and keep him occupied with grabs and short attacks so he cannot repeatedly shoot. Reward: 1 Ryo. 129. Matsu the Discerning Poster available in Chapter 8-1; target appears at night. The next story-night opportunity is 9-4. On Kawara Street, near the road below Koetsu's mansion, bump into the man running toward you. Choose bottom to identify him. Finish unarmed for 2 Ryo, otherwise 1 Ryo. Either finish awards Star Steel Legend. 130. Nonbei of the Dawn Chapter 9-1, day. Find him on Mountain Road at the junction leading toward the waterfall. He has heavy attacks and a large health pool. Wait for the downward sword slam to miss, land a short combo and retreat. Finish unarmed for 2 Ryo rather than 1 Ryo. Red Lion Hair is awarded either way. 131. Tatsu of the Twin Feathers Chapter 9-4, night. Walk through the curved western-central Rakugai alley with health below 20%. Harmful turtle food, including Sludge Worms, can lower it. Refuse his massage with bottom, then heal as soon as battle starts. Kill all four helpers and collect all four money drops BEFORE defeating Tatsu. That pays 2 Ryo rather than 1 Ryo. The Wrath Talisman is awarded either way. 132. Tetsuto the Demon Slayer Chapter 9-4, night. Find the wanted man in women's clothing near the southern end of River Road. Clear his nine helpers first. Two-sword guard helps when surrounded. Against Tetsuto's heavy blade, attack after the ground slam. Rewards: 1 Ryo and White Lion Hair. 133. Kensuke the Forger Chapter 9-5, any time. Confront him on Mountain Road by the waterfall junction. He denies being the wanted man. Return to the Rakugai officer, then speak to Kensuke's mother in the eastern Farms, by the fields. Choose top to promise to spare him. The ensuing fight is unarmed, with 30 enemies arriving in waves. Most helpers fall very quickly; use the branches on the ground. Reward: 1 Ryo. 134. Kaien the Corrupt Monk Poster available in Chapter 9-5, but the target needs night. The next story-night opportunity is 10-11. Find him on the western bend of the Farms road, below the route to Rendai Field. Let his club smash miss before retaliating. Reward: 1 Ryo. 135. Arashiyama Matasaburo Chapter 10-11, night. Bring bottled sake from Nakanokura in Gion, using the middle shop option to buy takeaway alcohol. Find him in Gion's southwest corner. Choose top and give him the drink; this is required to begin the fight. You fight unarmed against his sword. Rewards: 1 Ryo 5,000 Mon and Demon Remains. 136. Heinosuke the Crow Chapter 10-11, night, level 30 or higher. His poster will not appear below that level. Speak to the man on the southern bend of Cliff Road, then walk away. Be ready for an ambush QTE. He uses iaido and guards well, so avoid long frontal strings. Rewards: 1 Ryo and Haisuimaru. This sword also matters for Request 20. 137. Golden Gun Rikukane Chapter 10-11, night, level 35 or higher. Read his poster, then walk to the northern back of Rendai Field. React to the ambush QTE and immediately close on the gunman. Rewards: 1 Ryo and 10,000 EXP. 138. Toyokichi of the Kuromon Family Chapter 10-11, night, after at least 80 random street encounters. Story, arena and substory battles do not count, and there is no visible counter. Inspect the Sanjusangendo gate and choose top. Inside, speak to the lone yakuza and choose middle, then top. Defeat the 58 enemies, including Toyokichi. Two-sword guard is useful in the crowd. Rewards: 1 Ryo, Great King's Magatama and 10,000 EXP. If the poster is missing in 10-11, random encounters resume in Chapter 11. You can build the count there, then return at the next night opportunity, 12-2. 139. Enryu the Kamaitachi Chapter 11-2. Do this during daytime for the simplest route. Find him on northern Cliff Road near the Sanjusangendo exit. Speak, choose top, then walk away and respond to the ambush QTE. Watch for explosives and fire breath. Quick two-sword attacks help catch him. Rewards: 1 Ryo and Twin Dragon Book. 140. Kuroshima Raiden Chapter 12-1, evening. Requires Request 60 and all other 19 bounties. Read the final poster, then speak to Baiken's man at the northern side path on Forest Road. Choose top to enter the cave. Remove the four helpers first. Kuroshima rarely flinches and can counter sword attacks, so use short openings and Heat actions instead of prolonged combos. Bring substantial healing. Rewards: 1 Ryo, Demon God Manuscript and 15,000 EXP. After all 20, the remaining route to Amon is Request 100: finish Requests 1-99, all 20 commissions and defeat all 50 arena opponents. Speak to the officer, return to the police box at night, then follow his letter to the Kawara Street bridge.
