Lost Judgment: every Tiger, Crane, and Snake skill
Skill catalogue, part 2 of 3
This part covers all 81 base-game fighting-style skills: 27 Tiger, 25 Crane, and 29 Snake. It continues the numbering from Stats and Abilities. Together with part 1's 67 purchases and part 3's 36 Special skills, these complete the 184-skill base-game list.
The skills here cost 683,800 SP altogether: 288,600 for Tiger, 165,400 for Crane, and 229,800 for Snake. Book purchases and prize-exchange costs are separate.
How the list works
Prices are for each individual skill or level. Unless a requirement is listed, no earlier skill or book is needed once the style is available. Snake opens during its Chapter 1 story tutorial. For a book-locked move, collect the book and then spend the skill's SP cost. All fifteen book routes are at the end.
With default controller bindings, PlayStation / Xbox inputs are:
- Light attack: Square / X.
- Heavy attack and EX Actions: Triangle / Y.
- Grab: Circle / B.
- Evade: Cross / A.
- Guard: L1 / LB.
- Fighting stance: hold R1 / RB.
- Quickstep: hold fighting stance, then press Cross / A with a direction.
- Sprint: hold Cross / A without holding fighting stance.
- EX Boost: R2 / RT.
- Style switch: D-pad down.
- Taunt: click the left stick while holding fighting stance.
For an EX Action, meet its conditions, have enough EX Gauge, and press heavy attack at the on-screen prompt. Low health means the health gauge is flashing red; full health means completely full. A Finishing Blow is a heavy attack after a light-attack combo. Snake's parry comes from timing guard just before an incoming hit.

Using the styles together
The three Secret skills let their Hidden Arts effects survive a style change. Triggering another style's Hidden Arts refreshes the carried effect's timer, letting you make use of a buff after switching to a different moveset.
Snake's Agonizing Strike is a useful setup for Tiger's EX True Tiger Dances With Crane: inflict agony with a charged finisher, switch to Tiger, then use the EX Action near that enemy. Keep plenty of EX Gauge if you want the stronger version of the attack.
If an EX prompt is getting in the way of an ordinary heavy attack, hold L2 / LT to suppress EX Actions. Release it when you want to use one.
The fifteen skill books used here
Collecting a book unlocks its skill for purchase. Book prices and exchange points are separate from the SP prices above. For squirrel rewards, first complete Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun, inspect each drawing in the chain, and use the gadget it points to.
Tiger books
- Flux Fissure Redux: enter Welcome Pharmacy in Ijincho and inspect the squirrel immediately to the right. Use the Noise Amp toward the far interior corner to find the book. Unlocks Flux Fissure.
- To Crush a Dragon: in Chapter 12's tatami-room building, talk to the wounded man on the second floor and open the nearby safe with 8010. If you missed it, Xi Ying Tang in Ijincho's Chinatown sells it afterward for ¥78,000. Unlocks Dragon's Crushing Fist.
- Skateboard Rocketeer: buy it from the Skateboard Point Exchange for 35,000 points after opening the exchange through the Skateboarding School Story. Unlocks Powerslide, which is also required for EX Human Ramp.
Crane books
- Memoirs of an Eagle: complete My First Errand. Unlocks Raptorial Spirit.
- Excerpts of a True Crane: clear Air Yagami in the title-screen Gauntlet, then collect the reward from a detective-office mailbox in your main save. The challenge requires airborne damage, so use wall jumps and Sky Dancer instead of ordinary grounded attacks. Unlocks True Crane Beast Slayer.
Snake books
- White Snake Analects: inspect the squirrel inside the mouth of Wette Kitchen's dinosaur sign on Isezaki Road. Use the Noise Amp on the dinosaur's tail. Unlocks White Snake Mastery.
- Book of the Slithering Snake Vol. 1: buy it at Ebisu Pawn in Kamurocho for ¥30,000. Unlocks Secret Technique: Twisting Viper.
- Book of the Slithering Snake Vol. 2: start at the squirrel at the top of the riverside stairs on Sunrise Street, south of Ichiban Confections. Use the Detector to find the second drawing down the stairs, then the Noise Amp to find the third on the bridge post. Fly the drone to the top of the light post for the book. Unlocks Secret Technique: Hazy Throw.
- Book of the Slithering Snake Vol. 3: buy it from Onodera's Wares for 10,000 SP once his Chapter 12 stock is available. Secret Technique: Defang then costs another 40,000 SP, so the book and skill together cost 50,000 SP.
- Showa Duel Records: Man: exchange 2,000 batting points at either batting center. Unlocks EX De-Bludgeon.
- Showa Duel Records: Earth: complete The Chaos of the Masked Writer. Unlocks EX Dagger Break.

Final check
You should have 27 Tiger, 25 Crane, and 29 Snake purchases completed. Check the chained requirements as well as the book: Crouching Tiger needs both Flux Fissure and Perfect Guard, Hardened follows Crouching Tiger, and several Snake EX throws need an earlier throw skill.
For Excerpts of a True Crane, clearing the Gauntlet challenge is only the first step. Collect the mailbox reward in the save you are using for completion. Part 3 finishes the base catalogue with all 36 Special skills.
