Lost Judgment: Mystery Research Club finale and every evidence answer
Full School Stories spoilers below, including the Professor's identity.
The Mystery Research Club stays unfinished while you investigate the other clubs. To start its finale, complete all nine investigations: Dance, Robotics, Boxing, Biker Gang, Photography, Skateboarding, eSports, Casino, and Girls' Bar.
Check the School Diary to make sure each investigation is finished. Song records, robot-part collection, boxing knockout targets, and skateboard race times can wait until afterwards.
You can't finish this before Chapter 9 because the Biker Gang's final section requires that chapter. Once all nine investigations are done, return to Amasawa during daytime. Sunset and night won't work.
Before agreeing to review the case, make a manual save, restock your healing items, and buy any combat skills you want. This starts a long sequence of scenes and fights, with the other activities put on hold until it's over.
The case board
Inspect every group of photos on the whiteboard. Five investigations ask for answers:
- Dance Club: choose Kotoko Itokura as the person Takanashi was helping, then Kaoru Komekado as DancingBunny.
- Biker Gang: present Letter from the Disciplinary Committee Suggestion Box, then choose Dan Murasaki as the connection to the Neo Keihin Gang.
- Robotics Club: choose Tetsuro Kurumazaki as the robot's designer, then present Professor's Order Notes.
- Boxing Gym: choose Kenya Oshikiri as the Payback Boxer, then present Fixed Match Evidence.
- Girls' Bar: choose “That brat...” when asked what Koga said after his call with the Professor.
The Skateboarding, Photography, eSports, and Casino photos only need to be reviewed. Finish examining the whole board to continue.
Finding Kento
Kento's call interrupts the discussion. Leave school and head to Poppo at Jinnai Station Exterior. You'll find his bag outside the shop. Let the scene finish, speak to Amasawa, then call Ranpo through Yagami's phone.
Follow Ranpo west to the building where Kento is being held. Defeat the men inside. You'll return to the MRC for the next deduction.
Use these answers:
- What would have happened to the eight students? “They'd get caught and punished.”
- The Professor's identity: Kotoko Itokura.
Finding Itokura
After Itokura runs from the clubroom, leave the classroom building and speak to the student outside. Follow the lead to the promenade and watch the confrontation with Itokura and Koga.
Back at the MRC, choose “We could ask all my Seiryo contacts.” The students gather to help, then split up to search the city.
Go to the marked building on East Tsurukame Highway, the same Neo Keihin storage building you visited during the Robotics investigation. Check inside, then fight the gang waiting outside. The Todoroki Boxing Gym group arrives when more enemies show up, giving Yagami a chance to leave.
Answer Nishizono's call and head to Hyakkei Alley. Meet the dancers by the building and listen to Amasawa's call. You'll need to enter through the upper window.
Climbing into the hideout
Start at the marked yellow climbing point and follow this route:
1. Climb all the way up the first section.
2. Move right, then drop to the lower handhold.
3. Continue right and climb back up.
4. Move right again, then climb down toward the window.
5. Enter through the open window.
Amasawa sends the hospital photo during this part of the investigation. When Itokura's situation comes up inside, present The Photo from the Hospital.
Finish the conversation and follow the escape scenes. The Robotics and Biker Gang students help you get away, but Koga catches up at Hamakita Park for the final fight.
Beating Koga
Koga brings several men with him. Use Crane to thin out the group so they don't keep interrupting you, then focus on Koga. Tiger is useful for direct damage, while Snake gives you counters and throws against the surrounding attackers.
Koga moves quickly and uses flash grenades. Fight defensively, move clear after an interrupted combo, and wait for an opening before attacking again. Short attacks are safer than trying to finish a long combo while he's moving around you. Use EX Actions and healing items when you need them.
Defeat Koga and watch the concluding scenes back at school. Finish the final MRC conversations to close the Professor investigation.
Rewards
Completing the finale earns High School Drama, 80,000 SP, and the Paint Seekers accessory.
Equip Paint Seekers to hear an alert when you're near a squirrel picture. It's useful for finishing Squirrel Search, which remains available after the School Stories ending.
MRC TownGo checklist
The MRC's ten School missions are the Investigation Files. Each one corresponds to a completed investigation:
1. Dance Club.
2. Robotics Club.
3. Boxing Gym.
4. Biker Gang.
5. eSports Club.
6. Skateboarding.
7. Girls' Bar.

After the finale, check the other School TownGo lists for anything still missing. Common remaining goals include Dance scores, robot designs and optional opponents, first-round boxing wins, bike parts and horns, Girl's Bite darts, skateboard records, and extra eSports wins.
High School Drama marks the end of the investigations. Finish every School mission for TownGo Senior. TownGo Master also requires the Shop and City mission lists.
