Lost Judgment: Skateboarding story, park scores, race times, and boards Skateboarding opens at Teamwork 3. Read Amasawa's message, inspect the graffiti on the west side of Seiryo's classroom building, then return to the MRC. After the conversation with Amasawa and Iemori, head to Hamakita Park to meet the skaters. The investigation only requires four trick challenges. For TownGo, you'll also need the five park records and all twelve race times below. You can keep playing both activities after finishing the story. The Ijincho Hounds investigation 1. Meet the skaters near the graffiti at the north end of Hamakita Park. Score over 1,000 in the introductory challenge. Afterwards, defeat the Neo Keihin attackers and accept Chiyoda's invitation to join Blue King. 2. Speak to Chiyoda on the east side of Hamakita Park and go skating again. Beat Ninomiya's score of 2,000. Chiyoda also handles the park missions and prize exchange. 3. Leave the area and return for Mitsui's challenge. Score over 2,500, using the rails to keep tricks going between ramps. Winning unlocks skateboard races, though you don't need to race to continue the investigation. 4. Leave and return again for Shikishima's challenge. Score over 3,000. This unlocks the remaining base-game park missions. 5. Leave the area and wait for Chiyoda's message. Return to Hamakita Park and defeat the gang members. Present “Photo of Shikishima Spraying Graffiti,” then choose “Message to Chiyoda.” Finish the conversation with Shikishima at the MRC to close the investigation. If Chiyoda only offers the usual activities, check the School Diary for your next objective. Do another activity and come back if you're waiting for his message. The five park missions Each mission has a normal clear score and a higher TownGo target. The reward listed is the Skate Points bonus for clearing the mission. - Get Some Air: clear at 3,000; reward 1,000 Skate Points; TownGo target 5,000. - Flank the Bank: clear at 3,000; reward 1,500; TownGo target 6,000. - Radical Rail: clear at 4,000; reward 2,000; TownGo target 7,000. - Combo Park: clear at 5,000; reward 2,500; TownGo target 8,000. - Section Jam: clear at 7,000; reward 3,500; TownGo target 10,000. Build speed before a ramp, hit the takeoff prompt in the correct window, then mash the displayed trick button while you're in the air. Land another trick quickly to keep your multiplier going. Grind rails when they're on your route between ramps. If you're struggling with a record, pick two nearby ramps and go back and forth between them. Keep your speed up and land the tricks. A short, repeatable route is easier than chasing coins all over the park. Coins give you Skate Points to spend at the exchange, but don't count toward the required trick score. Collect them when you're saving for prizes. Blue coins are worth 100 points and gold coins are worth 300. The twelve race times Win the earlier races to unlock later courses. Aim to finish a little under each TownGo limit: 1. Gate to Gate: 0:46. 2. Circumnavigator: 1:11. 3. Bayside Park: 1:30. 4. Northward Bound: 1:28. 5. Funhouse: 1:30. 6. K-Town Rush: 1:50. 7. Hangtime: 0:43. 8. Stir-Crazy: 1:25. 9. Wormhole: 1:20. 10. Romantique: 1:18. 11. Devil's Way: 1:55. 12. Skater Paradise: 1:48. First place on Skater Paradise earns Yagami Pro Skater. You still need to finish within 1:48 for its TownGo mission, so check your time even if you win. Racing tips Jump over obstacles and grind rails for speed boosts. Keep to the road and avoid grass or side paths that slow you down. Don't cross the whole street for an item box if it takes you away from the route. Hold the jump button, then release when Yagami flashes white for a normal jump. Hold until he flashes yellow for a higher jump. Keep accelerating between tricks so you don't lose speed when a boost wears off. The three race items are: - Red Firecracker: attacks the nearest skater ahead of you. - Yellow Gravel: drops behind you to slow other racers. - Blue Energy Drink: gives you a burst of speed. You can only hold one item at a time. Use what you have before collecting another box when it will help you get ahead or protect your lead. All eight base-game skateboards - Blue Tribal: given by Sugiura in Chapter 1. This is your starting board. - Yellow Lizard: 20,000 Skate Points at the Skateboard Prize Exchange. Improves acceleration. - Green Lizard: ¥50,000 at Ebisu Pawn in Kamurocho. Gives a larger acceleration boost. - Skull Bass: ¥50,000 at Deco Rush in Ijincho. Improves handling. - White Horse: 50,000 Skate Points at the exchange. Improves top speed. - Red Horse: ¥50,000 from the darts shop at The Bee in Ijincho. Speak to the woman beside the bar. Gives a larger top-speed boost. - Purple Drop: 100,000 Skate Points at the exchange. Improves handling, acceleration, and top speed. - Black Drop: 36,500 chips at Heaven's Door casino in Ijincho. A strong all-round board. You'll need to open the casino through its School Story before you can buy it. Use a board with better acceleration in the parks to regain speed between ramps. Purple Drop and Black Drop are good choices for races. Collect all eight for Skate or Die. The three boards from the Skateboard Prize Exchange cost 170,000 Skate Points altogether. Skateboard Prize Exchange Talk to Chiyoda at Hamakita Park to spend your Skate Points. - Yellow Lizard: 20,000. - White Horse: 50,000. - Purple Drop: 100,000. - Play Pass: 18,000. - Free Pass Voucher 1: 25,000. - Dance Textbook (Breakdancing): 5,000. - Extract Recipe: Vital Spirit: 5,000. - Skateboard Rocketeer: 35,000. - Hemostasis Booster 2: 40,000. - Full Shin Guards: 24,000. - Back Protector: 60,000. - Elbow Protectors 1: 6,500. - Knee Protectors 1: 6,500. Save for the boards, books, and voucher before buying extra Play Passes. Free Pass Voucher 1 is one piece of the permanent Paradise VR pass, so you'll still need the other vouchers. The Breakdancing textbook adds Dance Club EX Solos. Skateboard Rocketeer unlocks Powerslide for purchase in the Skills menu. Races are a good way to earn the points for these purchases. Pick a course you can finish reliably and collect coins without losing your lead. TownGo also has separate City milestones for earning 10,000, 30,000, and 100,000 Skate Points in total. You don't need to keep those points unspent. DLC skateboarding content The Detective Essentials Pack adds the Hover Drive board and Open Air skate park. Neither is needed for the five base-game park records, twelve race times, or Skate or Die. These skating extras belong to Detective Essentials, not the School Stories Expansion Pack. Completion checklist - Finish the Shikishima investigation and its closing MRC conversation. - Beat all five TownGo park targets. - Finish all twelve races within their TownGo limits. - Place first in Skater Paradise for Yagami Pro Skater. - Collect all eight base-game boards for Skate or Die. - Earn 100,000 Skate Points in total for the final City milestone. - Buy the exchange books, recipe, and voucher needed for the other completion lists.
