Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii: all 37 Pirates' Coliseum matches, rewards and completion route The Coliseum is easy to underestimate if you're only checking the tournament menu. Its ordinary completion list has 37 matches across four modes: 16 Quick Clash, 10 Madlantis Mania, seven Tournament of Captains and four Swashbuckler Showdown. The two Amon challenges come afterward. Here's the full checklist, including base cash, first-clear Reputation and the S-rank time to aim for. Story and Devil Flags spoilers follow. Getting in and understanding the rewards The Pirates' Coliseum opens during Chapter 2 in Madlantis, after the Goromaru's refit and the introductory Coliseum battle. Use the reception desk in the Coliseum Grounds to select a mode. You can also prepare your crew and ship there. Keep these three things separate: - Pirate Rank is your overall reputation-based progression. Raising it lets you challenge higher tiers. - A match's rank describes its tier. Tournament prerequisites and story events can still lock an entry. - S, A, B and C are the result grades for your clear time. They affect your bonus payout. The cash below is the base reward, before that time bonus. Cash can be earned again on repeat victories; the listed Reputation is a first-clear reward. Replaying one easy fight won't keep supplying that first-clear Reputation. S ranks are optional for clearing the ordinary list and opening Amon. The times below are targets for players who want them, not time limits that turn a slower victory into a loss. Aim to finish comfortably below the listed time. Unlocks and progression Quick Clash and Madlantis Mania expand with Pirate Rank. Their rank-three, rank-four and rank-five groups correspond to Pirate Ranks 3, 4 and 5. Work through Tournament of Captains alongside them instead of leaving the entire tournament ladder until last. There is one unlock detail worth treating carefully: the exact minimum Tournament of Captains progress needed for higher Quick Clash and Mania tiers isn't fully verified. The practical route here clears the preceding tournament tier before moving up, so it covers that possible requirement. Check the lock description on your own menu before grinding more Reputation. Tournament of Captains has a clear ladder: Novices, one star, two stars, three stars, four stars, then Ultimate Tournament. Win the preceding tournament and raise Pirate Rank to the next tier. The one-star tournament follows Novices; if it stays locked, reach Pirate Rank 2. Its displayed one-star tier should not be treated as proof that Pirate Rank 1 is sufficient. Contention Qualifier is separate from that ladder. It opens through the Chapter 4 story, after the Luxury Palace Hotel events grant you the right to challenge. Raising Pirate Rank to 5 early won't bypass that story gate. For Swashbuckler Showdown, defeat the corresponding Devil Flags captain first, then return to reception for the recreated battle. Winning the original story fight does not automatically clear its Coliseum rematch. Quick Clash: all 16 matches Every entry has the same objective: disable the enemy flagship, board it, then defeat its crew. Sinking every escort is unnecessary. The timer covers the naval and boarding portions together. Rank 1: each pays $1,000 and 1,000 Reputation. S target: 1:30. - [ ] 01. Grey Pirates. - [ ] 02. Tagger Pirates. Rank 2: each pays $2,000 and 2,000 Reputation. S target: 1:30. - [ ] 03. Gilded Flower Pirates. - [ ] 04. Mundane Pirates. - [ ] 05. Inked Up Pirates. Rank 3: each pays $3,000 and 3,000 Reputation. S target: 1:20. - [ ] 06. Neo Tagger Pirates. - [ ] 07. Nefarious Pirates. - [ ] 08. Biker Pirates. Rank 4: each pays $4,000 and 4,000 Reputation. S target: 1:50. - [ ] 09. Tactical Pirates. - [ ] 10. Dosukoi Pirates. - [ ] 11. Biohazard Pirates. - [ ] 12. Mecha Pirates. - [ ] 13. Red Oni Pirates. Rank 5: each pays $5,000 and 5,000 Reputation. - [ ] 14. Ghoulish Pirates. S target: 2:10. - [ ] 15. Pretty Pink Pirates. S target: 2:10. - [ ] 16. Pierrot Pirates. S target: 2:30. For quick clears, approach the flagship from behind, attack its stern with the forward guns, then line up your cannons while it is disabled. Use boost to reposition rather than spending the whole fight sitting beside an active broadside. Escort ships are distractions unless their attacks are stopping you from reaching the target. On deck, go after the captain and other leaders early. Eliminating the leadership prevents the enemy from using its crew abilities. Use support when it helps maintain your attack or saves a weakened squad, rather than waiting until the fight is nearly over. Madlantis Mania: all 10 matches These are consecutive boarding battles with no naval section. Finish every round to win the entry. The listed S target covers the full sequence, not each round separately. Each line gives the match tier, number of rounds, base cash, first-clear Reputation and S target. - [ ] 17. Beginner Mania. Rank 1; 2 rounds; $800; 1,000 Reputation; 1:00. - [ ] 18. Beginner Mania: Round 2. Rank 1; 3 rounds; $1,200; 1,000 Reputation; 1:30. - [ ] 19. Intermediate Mania. Rank 2; 3 rounds; $2,000; 2,000 Reputation; 2:00. - [ ] 20. Massive Mania. Rank 2; 4 rounds; $2,400; 2,000 Reputation; 2:40. - [ ] 21. Shooters' Garden. Rank 3; 2 rounds; $2,800; 3,000 Reputation; 1:10. - [ ] 22. Power Mania. Rank 3; 4 rounds; $3,800; 3,000 Reputation; 2:10. - [ ] 23. Poisoners' Paradise. Rank 4; 3 rounds; $4,000; 4,000 Reputation; 2:00. - [ ] 24. Mighty Mania. Rank 4; 4 rounds; $5,000; 4,000 Reputation; 2:40. - [ ] 25. Nightmare Carnival. Rank 5; 3 rounds; $6,200; 5,000 Reputation; 2:30. - [ ] 26. All-Star Carnival. Rank 5; 5 rounds; $8,000; 5,000 Reputation; 3:40. Put your best close-combat crew in boarding slots before entering. A great fighter assigned to a cannon won't help your boarding squad here, and this mode isn't the way to train your cannon team. Sea Dog gives you useful crowd tools. Throw the cutlass boomerang through packed enemies, use the hook to reach a distant officer, and take multi-target Heat Action opportunities. The shorter entries have little time to spare, so chasing isolated enemies on foot can cost an S rank even when the fight itself is easy. For the longer gauntlets, think about the next round before spending everything in the current one. Use healing support while it can preserve several allies. Alternate useful Madness attacks and support opportunities instead of letting both gauges sit unused while the crew loses health. Tournament of Captains: all seven ordinary tournaments One cycle means a naval fight followed by a boarding fight. A three-cycle tournament therefore contains six combat phases. The S target applies to the whole tournament. - [ ] 27. Tournament of Novices. Rank 1; 2 cycles; $2,000; 2,000 Reputation; S target 4:00. Starting tournament. - [ ] 28. Tournament of Captains ★. Rank 1; 2 cycles; $2,400; 2,000 Reputation; S target 4:00. Clear Novices first; see the Pirate Rank 2 caveat above. - [ ] 29. Tournament of Captains ★★. Rank 2; 3 cycles; $4,200; 4,000 Reputation; S target 4:30. Clear the one-star tournament and reach Pirate Rank 2. - [ ] 30. Tournament of Captains ★★★. Rank 3; 3 cycles; $10,000; 6,000 Reputation; S target 4:30. Clear the two-star tournament and reach Pirate Rank 3. - [ ] 31. Contention Qualifier. Rank 3; 2 cycles; $5,000; 10,000 Reputation; S target 3:00. Chapter 4 story unlock. - [ ] 32. Tournament of Captains ★★★★. Rank 4; 3 cycles; $15,000; 8,000 Reputation; S target 6:00. Clear the three-star tournament and reach Pirate Rank 4. - [ ] 33. Ultimate Tournament. Rank 5; 3 cycles; $20,000; 20,000 Reputation; S target 7:00. Clear the four-star tournament and reach Pirate Rank 5. The one-star tournament also matters outside this checklist: clearing it opens access to the Luxury Palace Hotel needed for the Chapter 3 story. Prepare for endurance. Hull damage carries across the tournament, so a reckless opening victory can leave you with too little ship for the final opponent. More durability, extra repairs and an appropriate first mate give you room to recover. Expand the boarding squads and fill those places before tackling the upper tiers. Keep the flagship-first approach from Quick Clash, but repair when needed rather than sacrificing a whole run to save a few seconds. If contamination or freezing forces you into Deck Mode, a smoke screen can cover the repair. During boarding, prevent enemy abilities by removing their leaders and keep an eye on your own support gauge. Swashbuckler Showdown: all four rematches These are large land battles against 100 enemies. Your broader crew joins the fight, including members normally assigned to cannons. There is no naval phase to shorten with better cannon fire. - [ ] 34. Fully Recreated! Duel with the Third Fleet! Rank 2; defeat Captain Yakuza in the Devil Flags story to unlock. $1,500; 1,500 Reputation; S target 2:00. - [ ] 35. Fully Recreated! Duel with the Second Fleet! Rank 3; defeat Captain Ronin to unlock. $3,000; 3,000 Reputation; S target 2:00. - [ ] 36. Fully Recreated! Duel with the First Fleet! Rank 4; defeat Captain Shinobi to unlock. $4,000; 4,000 Reputation; S target 2:00. - [ ] 37. Final Showdown! The Devil Flags' Strongest Fleet! Rank 5; defeat Captain Zeus to unlock. $5,000; 5,000 Reputation; S target 2:10. Clear a space through the weaker enemies first, then work on the officers without the whole crowd surrounding Majima. Dark Instruments are particularly useful when enemies are packed together. Build and spend Madness in Sea Dog, and use support to keep your crew contributing. The full Devil Flags route is its own project. For this checklist, the important part is that all four officers must be beaten and all four newly unlocked rematches must also be won. A practical route through the whole list 1. Start with low-tier Quick Clash and Mania. Take first-clear rewards across different entries, buy useful ship improvements, and give the crew combat experience. 2. Clear Novices and the one-star tournament. This moves the tournament ladder forward and handles the Luxury Palace Hotel requirement. 3. Raise Pirate Rank through new Coliseum wins, treasure hunting and Challenges. Clear the two-star tournament before moving into the rank-three groups, then continue that pattern through the higher tiers. This is a safe progression route, not a claim that every earlier match is a minimum unlock requirement. 4. Progress the Devil Flags alongside the Coliseum. Return for each Swashbuckler rematch when it opens, or save all four for a stronger late-game crew. 5. Advance Chapter 4 until Contention Qualifier appears, then win it. Don't mistake that story lock for a missing S rank. 6. Finish the four-star and Ultimate tournaments, then check every mode for an uncompleted entry. All 37 ordinary wins award the Earth Stone and open the Amon follow-on. If you're stuck, identify the part that is failing. Losing the naval battle calls for ship durability, weapons, repairs or better cannon assignments. Winning at sea but collapsing on deck calls for stronger boarding squads, more slots, Majima upgrades or support. Spending all your money on cannons won't solve a Mania problem. You enter these crew events with Majima's current condition and equipment. Heal and choose rings before registering; don't plan around opening the normal inventory for recovery mid-match. Lowering the game difficulty is also an option if you want the completion rewards with less resistance. What counts as finished Winning 10, 20 and 30 different matches earns the New Star, Ace and Master of the Coliseum milestones. Repeat wins in one match don't replace those different-match requirements. Thirty wins still leave seven ordinary entries before the full clear. At 37, collect the Earth Stone and move on to Ultimate Pirate Crew Showdown, followed by Ultimate Captain's Showdown. Those are the separate Amon battles. This checklist gets you to them without counting either one among the original 37.
