Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii: Darts All right, another little side thing worth covering is darts. There are a few rewards here that you could easily overlook, including Majima's snakeskin jacket, a ship figurehead, and another crew member. So if you're working through the side content, here's what to actually do with this one. Where to go and what to use Go to the Crystal Aloha Resort in Honolulu. The West Aloha Beach taxi drop-off puts you close. Walk north into the resort and look for the dartboards in the eastern part of the building. A game costs $2. Before spending money on equipment, check the container around the corner from the boards, on the west side of the darts area under the resort's covered section. It contains the SS-rank Thunder Darts. Get those and select them before starting a match. If you've finished the Anaconda Shopping Center Photo Rally card, claim its reward from Alo-Happy. That gives you the SSS-rank Legend Darts. You can use those instead of buying the expensive Wind Darts. The rank matters because better darts are easier to throw accurately. Aim with the left stick, then time the throw using the moving gauge beside the reticle. On PlayStation, the throw button is X. Stop the gauge in the highlighted sweet spot. Getting the reticle in the right place and getting the timing right are two separate things. All 12 dart sets Here's the equipment list, from the weakest rank upward. Prices are in-game dollars. • Beginner Darts: C. Available from the start. • Standard Darts: B. Panthera Sports Kingdom, $50. • Rose: B. Hyper Ecstasy, $50. • Silver Darts: A. Panthera Sports Kingdom, $100. • Pencil: A. Clean-Clean Household Supplies, $150. • Premier Darts: S. Ben's Funky Wagon, $300. • Fork: S. Clean-Clean Household Supplies, $350. • Gold Darts: SS. Gorgeous Roger's in the Luxury Palace Hotel in Madlantis, $1,000. • Toy Crow: SS. Bluebird Gallery, $1,500. • Thunder Darts: SS. The resort container near the dartboards. • Legend Darts: SSS. Complete the Anaconda Shopping Center Photo Rally card and collect the reward. • Wind Darts: SSS. Ben's Funky Wagon, $5,500. Ben is a moving vendor in Chinatown. Look for his wagon rather than expecting a normal fixed storefront. Buying every purchasable set costs $9,000, but you don't need to do that to win the matches or finish the darts challenges. Thunder and Legend give you a free route to good equipment. Getting Yurina onto the crew Yurina is at the resort's darts area. Her requirement is scoring at least 100 points in a single round using the 01 ruleset. That means your three-dart turn, not 100 spread across the whole match. Choose 301 and go for two bulls. In this ruleset each bull is 50, so two already meet the requirement. Three bulls make 150. Finish up and speak to Yurina to recruit her. Don't accidentally do this in ordinary Count-Up and wonder why her requirement hasn't cleared. Winning 301 without overcomplicating it In 01, you're subtracting your throws from the starting total. Get to exactly zero. Going below zero causes a bust and restores the score from the start of that turn. Triple 20 is 60. A bull is 50. The bull is a more forgiving target, so use it if you aren't consistently hitting that small triple section. One straightforward 301 route is three bulls for 150, leaving 151. On the next turn, two more bulls leave 51. Then aim for single 1 to leave 50, and finish with a bull on your following turn. If you hit something else, recalculate from the number on screen instead of blindly continuing the sequence. For a six-dart finish, triple 20 three times leaves 121. Triple 20, triple 17, and single 10 finish it. That's much less forgiving, so don't chase that route if your accuracy isn't there yet. The other three rules • Standard Cricket: Only 15 through 20 and bull count. Three marks close a target for you; a triple closes a numbered target in one throw. You can score from a target you've closed while your opponent hasn't. Once both of you close it, move on. Start with triple 20, build points while it's available, then work through the other targets. Watch the opponent's marks so you aren't throwing at something that can no longer score. • Count-Up: Highest total wins. Triple 20 is worth more than bull, but consistent 50s are better than repeatedly missing the triple. Use whichever target you can actually hit. • Center Count-Up: Aim at the exact center. This mode awards more points the closer you are to the middle, with 600 for a dead-center hit. There are three rounds, so nine perfect throws would be 5,400. Don't carry the triple-20 strategy into this one. Crew rewards Choose to invite a crewmate rather than playing alone. These are the first-win rewards: • Noah: Goro Figurehead. • Jason: Staminan Spark. • Masaru: Oarfish. • Saejima: Fisherman outfit. • Nishida: Majima Construction Helmet. • Minami: Snakeskin Jacket. • Misaki: Nails cosmetic. The available opponents depend on who's available in your story. Nishida and Minami join during Chapter 3 after the return to Nele Island. Saejima joins at the start of Chapter 4. If somebody isn't on the invite list yet, come back after progressing rather than trying to unlock them by repeatedly beating Noah. Repeat wins change the rewards. Noah can give Tauriner, Jason Staminan X, and Masaru Mahi Mahi. I wouldn't grind repeats expecting a second copy of their unique cosmetic. The completion checks • Play all four rulesets: 1,000 Reputation. • Win twice in total: 1,000 Reputation. • Win five times in total: 2,000 Reputation. Those are cumulative wins. You don't need five wins against every person, and playing 301 and 501 doesn't replace trying Cricket, Count-Up, and Center Count-Up. My suggested order is to grab the free Thunder Darts, recruit Yurina with a 100-point 01 round, try each ruleset, and work through the first-win rewards as the crew becomes available. That covers the useful unlocks without buying equipment you don't need or replaying the same opponent for a reward they don't have.
