Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii: Kamulop's Fortune Exchange
All right, Kamulop has some useful stuff in this one. The fortune slips are worth picking up while you're doing everything else around Honolulu, because they pay for four crew members, another Treasury treasure, clothes, music, and items for several of the other minigames.
The first set of stock takes 196 Fortune Points altogether. After you've bought that set, he gets a different selection. So this covers the whole exchange, how to open it, and what you need to collect without confusing the number of slips with the number of points.
Where to find Kamulop
During Chapter 2, leave Revolve and follow Fuji Street east. The story takes you through substory 1, Kamulop, Fortunes Unfolded. After the introduction, Kamulop waits at the shrine farther east on Fuji Street in Little Japan.
Return there with the slips you've collected, turn them into Fortune Points, and use those points at his exchange. If the crew members aren't listed yet, continue until crew recruitment is available rather than assuming you're at the wrong shrine.
What the slips are worth
• Bad Fortune: 1 point.
• Modest Fortune: 2.
• Good Fortune: 3.
• Best Fortune: 4.
That means a 35-point chest doesn't require 35 individual slips. The number you need depends on their quality. Nine four-point slips would cover it, while nine one-point slips would not.
Making them easier to find
Get the Chain Hook through Chapter 2 before doing a serious sweep. Some slips are on walls, lights, signs, and other spots you can't reach by walking up to them. Aim the hook at elevated pickups. If a slip is accessible on the ground, walk over and collect it normally.
Then finish The Sicko Snap Saga, including capturing Crystal Papillon, and equip the Scope Ring. It reveals nearby fortune slips and treasure chests on the minimap as you explore. It doesn't put every location onto the full-screen map at once.
If an icon seems to be beside you but nothing is on the pavement, check above and below your current position. Look along the wall, under nearby furniture, and on the roof edge before deciding it isn't there.
A useful place to begin
Before leaving the shrine area, check the stairs, the water fountain in the southeastern corner, and the foot of the small building in the southwestern corner. Check Fuji Street in front of the shrine taxi drop-off too.
At Shinobi Sushi on Sakura Street, look up at the paper lanterns over the entrance and use the hook. Farther along the eastern side of town, check the ground near the large tree in the plaza with Snowtown USA.
When you're back near the ship, look beside the Goromaru's berth in Anaconda Harbor Park. In Shipper's Wharf, check the pallets in the eastern entrance passage, the southwestern pier, and the shelf along the corridor running parallel to Harbor Street.
Those are specific places worth checking as you move between activities, not a claim that those few stops contain every slip. Keep the Scope Ring on while you work through the rest of the city.

Each item in that first selection can be bought once. The categories add up to 35 for the treasure, 60 for crew, 44 for clothes, 47 for minigame items, and 10 for music. Total: 196.
What to buy first
If you're working on the Treasury, put 35 aside for Sunshine Stone. If you're trying to build the crew, all four recruits together cost 60. Buying both the treasure and all four recruits takes 95 points.
Kamulop is a support recruit rather than a normal fighter. Etsuko also gives you the Leopard Print Sweater when recruited. Pick according to the collection or crew you're working on rather than buying everything in menu order simply because it's there.
The soundtrack set is only ten points altogether, but those little purchases still come out of the same balance. If you're just short of a recruit you want, hold off on the extras until you've got that recruit covered.
What happens after buying everything
Once the whole initial selection is purchased, return to Kamulop's exchange for the replacement stock:
• Staminan Royale: 10 points.
• Staminan Spark: 20.
• Silver Plate: 1.
• Gold Plate: 5.
• Platinum Plate: 10.
The extra slips don't become useless after you've recruited everybody. They can still go toward recovery items or things to sell once you've finished the initial exchange.
For the collection challenges, the slip-count milestones are 10, 25, and 50 picked up. Those count slips, not their point value. Buying the entire first stock is a separate goal, and neither of those goals proves that every pickup across Honolulu has been collected.
