Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: The Big Swell and New Game+ The Master Vacation content is separate from Infinite Wealth's base platinum. If you're stopping at that platinum, you don't need this. If you want the extra dungeon and the full DLC achievement list, here's how to handle it without accidentally making yourself replay more than necessary. Spoilers below for the returning boss appearances. START THE BIG SWELL BEFORE STARTING OVER With the Master Vacation Bundle installed, load Premium Adventure and visit Revolve during the day. Follow the new event to the beach. That sequence introduces the Big Swell, with its entrance on Sunset Street. This is useful preparation for New Game+ because you still have your developed party available. Get your equipment, skills, and supplies sorted while you're free to move around, rather than starting the story over and then realizing you forgot something. The Big Swell has five sectors, with five floors in each. Its currency is Game Master's Loot, exchanged outside with Yappi-kun. Each sector has four people to rescue. Explore before leaving a floor and collect the rescue rewards afterward. One important difference from the main-game dungeons: recovery points do not give you the same pre-boss saving opportunity. Make your manual save outside before starting a sector. A recovery point is not automatically a save point. THE FIVE SECTORS Sector one starts with a recommended level of 55 and ends with three level-57 Sawashiro variants. Bring fire, ice, and electricity. The yellow one is vulnerable to fire, the blue one to electricity, and the remaining red/pink variant to ice. Target the correct opponent instead of assuming all three share the story boss's current weakness. Sector two recommends level 57. Its level-60 giant shark is weak to blade and fire. Keep healing available while your damage dealers use those options. Sector three recommends level 60. The level-62 Bryce and Ebina variants have different defenses: Bryce is vulnerable to blade and gun damage, while Ebina is vulnerable to fire, ice, and electricity. Match the attack to the target rather than using one group spell for everything. Sector four recommends level 62. The level-65 Majima and Yamai pair is another reason to keep several damage types available. Use fire against Majima and blade against Yamai. Majima's clones can complicate the fight, so putting pressure on him early is useful. Keep a group-damage option ready if the copies appear. Sector five recommends level 65. The level-66 Game Master has a main body vulnerable to blade attacks, with tentacles that need separate attention. Its right tentacle, on your left, is weak to fire and resists blade and gun attacks. Its left tentacle, on your right, is weak to gun damage and resists blade and fire. That means blindly throwing the same attack at every part wastes damage. Match the weakness, and keep enough MP for the later stages. Those recommendations aren't guarantees. If you're barely surviving ordinary encounters, leave and improve the party before the boss. Finishing a sector with no supplies and everyone almost dead doesn't obligate you to immediately begin the next. PREPARE YOUR NEW GAME+ SAVE Keep your existing Premium Adventure save separate. New Game+ carries over substantial progress, but story activities such as substories and bonding events start again. It isn't simply Premium Adventure with tougher street enemies. Before starting, finish your important weapon upgrades, check your inherited skills, and stock recovery items. Train Ichiban's Freelancer job enough that you aren't helpless when the opening story makes you use it again. Carry useful attack items too, since early story equipment restrictions can make an otherwise strong character feel surprisingly weak. I would prioritize backup healing across the party. One excellent healer doesn't help much if that character is unavailable, disabled, or waiting behind several enemy turns. You want somebody else to be able to stabilize the fight. THE HARD AND LEGEND ACHIEVEMENT CATCH The difficulty completion rewards do not stack. Finishing New Game+ on Legend does not automatically give you the separate Hard completion reward. Keep a manual save immediately before the final boss. Finish on Legend, save the resulting clear data in another slot, then reload the pre-boss save, switch to Hard, and finish again. That lets you claim both without doing another entire New Game+ run. The completion check is tied to the final boss difficulty, so you can change settings during the run. Just don't coast through on Normal and assume you're automatically prepared for a Legend finale. The final bosses on Legend are level 95, and your gear, skills, and levels still have to handle the fight. The DLC list also includes returning to the Hero job during New Game+, completing New Game+, and the five Big Swell sector celebrations. Check those as you finish. Then you can put the extra content away knowing you actually completed the DLC list instead of only reaching the bottom of one dungeon.
