Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: Platinum and Achievement Roadmap
All right, let's start with what actually needs to be done for Infinite Wealth, because there's a lot here and it's very easy to turn a trophy run into another hundred hours of doing absolutely everything.
The base-game platinum does not require a second playthrough, Legend difficulty, or buying the Master Vacation Pack. Nothing on that base trophy list is permanently missable. You can finish the story and come back through Premium Adventure. That doesn't mean every activity is available immediately. Some things need later chapters, stronger characters, or progress through another activity first.
I'm separating the base game from the DLC because “platinum” and “every achievement including the DLC” are two different targets here.
GET THROUGH THE STORY WITHOUT CREATING EXTRA WORK
Finish all 14 chapters. Along the way, stop for side stories, talk to your party, and use the activities you enjoy. You don't need to interrupt every story scene to chase a marker, but you also don't need to save every little task for the very end.
Keep several manual saves. Before committing to a long story section, check both your equipment and your supplies. A new job can give you useful options, but switching everybody into barely trained jobs right before a boss is asking for trouble.
For the party relationships, finish the Drink Links for Nanba, Adachi, Saeko, Joongi, Zhao, Chitose, Tomizawa, and Seonhee. Raise their bonds and return for the conversations. If an event isn't available despite having enough bond, check your story progress before assuming something broke.
THE MAIN CLEANUP LIST
These are the bigger targets to keep track of:
- Finish 40 substories. There are 52 altogether, so the trophy doesn't require every one. You do still need the complete Sujimon substory chain for its separate trophy.
- Get Ichiban to character level 70. Job rank is a different number.
- Max all six of Ichiban's personality stats. Check the challenges for whichever stat is falling behind instead of repeatedly doing something that raises a stat you've already finished.
- Raise seven jobs to rank 30. You can spread that work across the party.
- Finish all of Kiryu's Life Links, collect 70 Memoirs of a Dragon, and max at least one of Soul, Tech, or Body.
- Use Poundmates 30 times. Start using them when the cost is comfortable instead of leaving all 30 summons for the final cleanup.
- Craft ten pieces of gear at Julie's Gearworks and finish the facility investments.
- Register 200 enemies in the Sujidex. This is separate from recruiting your Sujimon team.
SUJIMON AND DONDOKO
For Sujimon, finish the league's associated substories, win 20 raids, recruit ten Sujimon from battles, and get one Sujimon to its maximum level and friendship. Gacha pulls don't replace the battle-recruitment requirement.
For Dondoko Island, finish its story, reach four stars along the way, craft 100 different DIY furnishings, welcome 100 guests, and run a TV advertisement. Pay attention to “different” for the crafting target. Making the same cheap item 100 times isn't the checklist you're trying to finish.
THE SMALLER ACTIVITIES
- Try ten different minigames.
- Complete all four Crazy Delivery courses.
- Complete all three Sicko Snap courses.
- Earn ten Ounabara certificates.
- Take 30 different Photo Rally pictures.
- Befriend 50 people through Aloha Links.
- Meet five people through Miss Match.
- Complete eight Alo-Happy activities.
- Retrieve an item from a toilet.
- Photograph a rainbow in Hawaii.
You don't need to master every minigame for that ten-minigame target. Likewise, the Photo Rally trophy is 30 valid pictures, not every photograph in every city. Complete more if you want the rewards, but know which goal you're working toward.
DUNGEONS AND THE LAST LEVELS
Clear Hawaiian Haunt and Yokohama Underground, including their EX sectors. Clearing the earlier sectors alone doesn't finish those dungeon trophies. Upgrade your equipment, cover healing and different damage types, and use the checkpoints before the tougher encounters.
Leave Ichiban's remaining level grind until after the other substantial content. Otherwise you're spending time grinding experience that you were going to earn anyway. In the base game, the higher Yokohama Underground sectors are useful for the final push because their vagabond enemies reward character experience. Keep Ichiban in the active party and use character-experience accessories if you have them.
If you're also doing the Master Vacation Pack, its Big Swell and New Game+ objectives are additional work. The DLC includes Hard and Legend completion requirements. Finish that separate list if you're chasing the full achievement total; none of it needs to be purchased just to finish the base platinum.
