Like a Dragon Gaiden: Build the Joryu Clan, reach Platinum and beat the Four Kings The Coliseum's difficult team fights are much more manageable when you recruit outside the arena and develop a consistent squad. Repeatedly sending the four starting fighters into a timed boss battle is a slow way to discover that your team needs work. Here is a route through the rank requirements, a straightforward way to reach 30 recruits, and the fights that lead into Amon's challenge. Get the Castle ranks unlocked Silver comes through the Chapter 2 story. Gold requires Akame Network level 10 and three Silver-rank Coliseum victories. Platinum requires Network level 20 and three Gold-rank victories. Return to Akame when you meet the requirements to receive the promotion. You do not need to finish every lower-rank match just to obtain Platinum. Some special events have their own broader completion requirements, which is a separate issue. Gold is needed for the main story; Platinum opens optional endgame access. Keep the modes straight: Tournament is the solo-duel category, Hell Rumble puts one fighter against a crowd, and Hell Team Rumble uses your recruited squad. Your equipped gear and starting Heat matter, and you cannot open the normal inventory to drink a healing item mid-arena fight. Prepare before entering. Get the useful request recruits first Hammerhead, Businessman Taro, Hattori the Ninja and Phoeniki join through the story. The following Akame requests add eleven more fighters: • Recruit Homeless Yamanaka: Homeless Yamaoka. • The Strongest Convenience Store Clerk: Ryusei Tobashira. • Liberate the Hammer Man: Yuji Nunokawa. • Save the Pro Wrestler: Excellent Sujiya. • The Cat-Lovin' Rapper: KATSUWO. • The Struggling Host: Renji. • Final Showdown: Red Peacocks: Akira Guren. • Final Showdown: White Knights: Koji Shiranita. • Final Showdown: Black Swallowtails: Keita Kuroyanagi. • End the Destruction: Masaharu Kaito and Toru Higashi. The request calls him Yamanaka, but the recruit's name is Yamaoka. Do not mistake those for two separate fighters. I'd prioritise KATSUWO and the Kaito/Higashi pair when their requests become available, since healing and support matter immediately. What each recruiter sells Recruiters have a fixed sequence. To reach a later fighter, you must pay for the earlier introductions too. Their magnifying-glass icons help you find them. • Well-Connected Gyaru, Fighters' Lounge bar: Mamoru Tateno, ¥70,000; Mr. Masochist, ¥140,000; Akimoto-kun, ¥210,000. • Broker, Coliseum lobby: Kamiyama, ¥100,000; Lil' Ryuji Goda, ¥200,000; Super Guard Machine, ¥300,000; Patriarch Gondawara, ¥400,000. • Millionaire, VIP Lounge: requires Gold and 1,000 fans. His sequence is Munan Akamatsu, ¥500,000; Hamako Ishikawa, ¥1,000,000; Gary Buster Holmes, ¥1,500,000. • Oil Baron, upstairs in the Casino: requires Platinum and 5,000 fans. His sequence is Yappi-kun, ¥800,000; Chicken Man, ¥1,600,000; Sheep Man, ¥2,400,000; Fumiya Sugiura, ¥3,200,000. Buying every introduction costs ¥12,420,000. Reaching Chicken Man from scratch costs ¥2,400,000 because he is the Oil Baron's second recruit. A clear route to the 30-recruit achievement The four story fighters, eleven request recruits and fourteen paid recruits above make 29. Add Zhang Wei by earning S rank in Bronze Tournament 2, visiting the Fighters' Lounge and giving him a Staminan when requested. That reaches the 30 needed for They Can't Stop Us All without paid DLC. You can substitute other arena recruits and spend less: Brave comes from the Silver Tournament and wants repeated silent responses in his lounge conversation. Yasuo Sodachi comes from Gold Tournament. Kung Fu Master Suzuki comes from Gold Hell Rumble and requests ¥100,000. Wang Wei comes from Platinum Tournament and requires Zhang Wei already recruited. Check the lounge after the relevant victories; beating someone does not automatically add them. Train ten fighters you will actually use For difficult late team matches, a sensible target is level 20 and bond level 3. Recruit count alone does not make a strong squad. A brand-new expensive fighter still needs development. KATSUWO and Higashi give you a strong healing base. Kaito supplies a team defence boost. Add attackers such as Sugiura, Chicken Man, Sheep Man, Keita Kuroyanagi and Gary Buster Holmes, then fill the remaining slots with developed fighters that suit you. Kamiyama offers cheap early firepower, though he needs protection. Gold Hell Team Rumble's first match is useful for bringing low-level recruits up to speed. Once you can handle Platinum, its fourth team match is a useful repeat because it lacks the troublesome large opponents. The Fighters' Lounge sells experience scrolls for individual fighters. For bonds, OH! SAKAZUKI lets you invest in the group. Use those options when money is easier to spare than repeated matches. During team fights, combine your Order with Agent Extreme Heat to cut through crowds while the attack boost is active. Heat Actions stop the match clock during their animations, so they can help turn an almost-finished timeout into a win. The Four Kings, in order The storyline begins as you leave the Castle in Chapter 4 after taking control of it. The initial Dan Brody encounter is the introduction, not his full team challenge. You need Platinum to continue the arena trials. Make a manual save before each challenge, because these story fights can produce a Game Over. Dan Brody: This is a three-minute team fight. His huge health pool is the main problem. Clear his supporting fighters so your team can surround him. If the clock runs out while your squad is healthy, improve damage and levels rather than adding another defensive fighter. Kunimitsu Samejima: A solo fight with pistols and Serpent shoes. Avoid chasing directly into gunfire. Dodge his shooting and rushing movement, then punish the recovery. Your clan's strength does not solve this one. JUSTICE: The third King deserves extra preparation. This is a team match against JUSTICE, both earlier Kings and a crowd of supporting enemies. The enemy Order can heal damage back, and JUSTICE's laser can tear through your fighters. Start by removing ordinary enemies so your team stops splitting its damage across the entire arena. Then concentrate on one major target rather than half-damaging every King. Keep an eye on the laser, activate your own Order and use your strongest crowd damage while the enemies are grouped. If your attacks cannot overcome the healing before the timer ends, step away and level the squad. Repeating an underpowered attempt usually leaves you with the same last enemy and the same expired clock. Kiyoshi Ugajin, the fourth King: Another solo encounter. Break out of his Spider restraint quickly and watch the incoming Hornets and telegraphed powered-up attack. Keep Kiryu healthy and resist rushing into his gadgets. After Ugajin, return to Akame for Operation Family Welfare. Completing that opens the Four Kings rematch event. Finish the remaining arena events and the Minamida Grand Prix to continue into the two Amon fights. Defeating the four individual Kings is a major milestone, but there is still a final arena cleanup before Amon appears.
