YAKUZA: LIKE A DRAGON: EVERY MISSING CAT
Finding Hiro's cats is one of the most useful early detours in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. The two requests pay a combined ¥2,000,000, give you 40 Part-time Hero stars, and unlock Robson as a Poundmate. You can start in Chapter 5, but you have to trigger the request yourself.
**Start the request before hunting**
Once Part-time Hero is available, revisit its office in the building shared with Café Brave in the North Jinnai Station area. Use the elevator at the rear to reach the office, speak to Hiro, then leave. His phone call about the escaped cats starts “Please Find My Cat 1.”
This first request is for nine cats. Robson belongs to a separate second request, so finding nine and then running straight to his spot without reporting back will not finish the job.
The nine ordinary cats can be collected in any order. The list below works as a district-by-district checklist rather than a required sequence. Listen for meowing as you approach, and interact with each cat. Photographing it is not the objective.
**The nine cats**
• **Commercial District, above Can Quest:** Return to the parking structure where you met Kan-san. The cat is on the upper parking level, not beside the minigame attendant underneath. Look behind the blue car along the railing overlooking Misaki Street.
• **Sunrise Street, south of Ichiban Confections:** Follow the street toward the riverside stairs. Search beside the building under the green awning, on the green container near the steps. Stay on the street side while checking the corner rather than walking down to the water.
• **Bar District, south of Survive:** Find the LEDA building and its large carved stone face. The cat is tucked into the recessed doorway beside the sculpture. It is easy to walk past if you only check the open pavement.
• **Restaurant Row, beside Zhou Long Distribution:** Use the weapon shop on Ijin Street as your landmark. Enter the narrow alley immediately north of it, follow it to the back, then turn into the little right-hand branch. Check the dead-end corner.
• **East Jinnai Station, retirement-home grounds:** Go to the large building between Bayside Street and Daikokuten Street, across from Ounabara Vocational School. Look beside its eastern outdoor stairwell. The cat is above ground level on a green utility box.
• **Chinatown:** From the central Chinatown intersection, search the short alley just south of the district name printed on the map. Look along the raised planter or low ledge outside the shopfronts. This is a cat tucked beside a building, not one wandering down the main road.
• **Hamakita Park, central fountain:** Find Flowers 2 Go, then walk south to the drinking fountain. The cat is underneath it. This is the first Hamakita Park cat, not Robson.
• **West Jinnai Station, south of Kappo Katsumi:** Cross toward the fenced parking/service area at the station. Find the entrance through the fence and follow the enclosed area past the silver safes. The cat is sitting on a blue-lidded dumpster at the far end.
• **North Jinnai Station, near the batting center:** Search north of Café Brave and the Part-time Hero office, behind the sports field. Follow the outside of the rectangular building around to its waterside rear corner. The cat is in the narrow space behind the building, away from the street-facing entrance.
**Turn in the first request, then find Robson**
Return to Hiro after all nine interactions. The first payment is ¥1,000,000 and 30 stars. He then gives you “Please Find My Cat 2.”
For Robson, return to Hamakita Park and go to its far northeastern corner. Follow the curved, sloping path near the top-right edge of the map. Robson is perched on a small lamp/post along that path, so look above pavement height.
Interact with him and return to Hiro again. That earns the other ¥1,000,000, 10 more stars, and Robson's Poundmates entry.
**Before you spend the money**
If you are doing this as soon as Chapter 5 opens, save before visiting the northern and eastern districts. Some street encounters are much nastier than the enemies around your current story objectives. Go around patrols and escape fights you cannot safely win.
Keep a checklist as you go. If Hiro is still waiting, the usual causes are one missed cat, a visit made before the request started, or looking for Robson before handing in the first nine. Check those before repeating the entire route.
