There are a few Yakuza 6 cleanup details worth keeping together because they don't fit neatly into the cat, safe, or achievement guides. This includes the Chapter 12 poem-stone puzzle, so there are story spoilers below. The nine poem stones become relevant while you're decoding the secret of Onomichi. Visit all nine during that story objective: - East of the Oyster Shack. - Along the north side of National Route 2, around its central stretch. - On the stairs leading to Ryunan Shrine. - Inside Ryunan Shrine's grounds. - West of the cemetery, on the small corner of Cemetery Lane. - At Hilltop Path's junction with Second Hill. - Beside Ropeway Station. - At the far end of Senkoji Temple on the mountain. - At the observation deck reached from behind Senkoji Temple. Once all nine are checked, return to Hirose Family headquarters to decode the message. Follow the new cemetery objective, then the dock objective. You don't need to search every grave before the game has advanced to that step. These stones are a main-story puzzle. They aren't nine locker keys or a separate hidden collection you need to complete before leaving Chapter 1. For post-game cleanup, start Premium Adventure from the clear data you've already made. This lets you finish the same run's substories and activities. New Game Plus resets several story-linked systems, including substories, Troublr, hostess ranks, bar stories, baseball progress, and spearfishing progression. Don't choose it by accident when you only wanted free roam. In the finale and Premium Adventure, use New Serena or the Navy Apartments to pass time. That lets you deliberately choose daytime for baseball and fishing or nighttime for the ghost and selfie stories. Moving the clock is more useful than checking the same inactive marker repeatedly. For the full Completion List, keep these goals separate from platinum: - Nineteen cats instead of the trophy's three. - All ten keyed safes, excluding the extra coded rooftop safe. - Forty Trouble Missions instead of twenty. - Thirty food combinations instead of the trophy's five. - All sixteen baseball missions, all twelve extra recruits, and thirty team wins. - All three fishing courses, every fish type, and maximum spearfishing level. - Every hostess profile and thirty Excellent-or-Perfect club sessions. - High ranks in all six New Gaudi conversations and thirty visits. - Every restaurant menu, the vending-machine drink requirements, and the remaining travel, battle, and interaction counters. The arcade Awards are also much stricter than merely playing the games. They include score targets in Space Harrier, Out Run, Fantasy Zone, and Super Hang-On; Virtua Fighter progress and wins with every character; and Puyo Puyo rivals and wins. Mahjong requires winning the tables and tournaments rather than simply sitting down once. Don't let an achievement-only checklist convince you those entire categories are finished. The full Awards reward is the War God Talisman. After the completion notification, collect it at New Serena or the Navy Apartments. It is a bonus for doing everything, not equipment you need to obtain before earning platinum. There are also optional diversions outside the core trophy route, including spirit photographs and the Premium Adventure UFO hunt. For UFOs, buy the UFO Finder at Ebisu Pawn, equip yourself for some rooftop sightseeing, and look around Millennium Tower from the Tenkaichi rooftops or around the mountain and bridge from Onomichi's high viewpoints. Night makes them easier to spot. If your goal is all achievements, finish the actual trophy requirements and leave it there. If your goal is every Award, use the in-game categories to track what is still incomplete. Either way, keep your finished save intact. There's no reason to reset a long side-content run just because the menu offers New Game Plus.
