Club Shine in Yakuza 6 is a conversation-card game. You aren't running the club like in Yakuza 0 or Kiwami 2, and there isn't a staff-management business to unlock behind it.
The trophy Club Shine Star is simple: request all five hostesses. All substories take more work. Saki, Riona, Erina, Hikaru, and Sora each need Diamond rank and their own meeting outside the club.
Before spending money on repeated visits, buy Ladies' Man and Art of Conversation. The first improves the affection you gain; the second gives you more topic cards. The Leather Bracelet and RISINGWAVE Zero Black from Don Quijote also help your hostess progress when equipped.
A visit costs ¥10,000 before extras. You normally get six topic plays. Each extension costs ¥5,000 and adds two more, with up to two extensions. Expensive champagne is available, but good topic choices and chains are more useful than blindly spending money.
Cards have tone icons: Love, Talk, Sexy, Party, and Dapper. Play compatible tones consecutively to build a chain. A good response inside a chain is worth more than repeatedly breaking the chain to pick unrelated topics. Look at the whole hand before spending the first card.
You can swap unwanted cards, but discarded cards stay out for that visit and you only get one swap before playing another card. Don't throw away half the deck trying to force one perfect topic. If you run out of useful topics, you end up relying on food and drink.
Some inexpensive food can restart a chain: ice cream for Love, coleslaw for Talk, chicken karaage for Sexy, potato wedges for Party, and edamame for Dapper. Each starts that tone at a two-chain. It does not add two to a longer chain you already had. Don't reset a better chain by ordering food unnecessarily.
The visible heart score and the long-term relationship rank aren't the same counter. Repeated requests, learning profile information, extending visits, and good session results all contribute to the relationship. Keep requesting the same hostess in consecutive visits when you're working on her instead of changing randomly after every session.
Profile topics are especially useful. Ask about hobbies, special skills, favorite food, music, dreams, and her type when those cards appear. The seventh profile topic differs by hostess: friends for Saki, recent events for Riona, restaurants for Erina, behavior when in love for Hikaru, and video games for Sora.
A few reliable high-return responses to keep handy:
- Saki: for hobbies, choose “Want to fantasize about me?” For special skills, “Salaryman Galaxy!” For her type, “Ook ook!” Talking about Majima is also a strong topic.
- Riona: for special skills, choose the answer about using social media and a blog. For her future dream, choose becoming an idol. For recent events, ask whether the woman was one of her fans. Her reaction to first-love talk also favors practicing a confession.
- Erina: hobbies favor “I like mysteries.” Music favors “How about enka?” Her type favors “I read novels.” If you ask about guessing your age, choose 23. Ending with the topic about having had fun is another strong card.
- Hikaru: when discussing her type, choose the response about carrying the old woman too. For behavior when in love, choose the cute “meow” response. The topic about why she entered the job favors communication skills. Her question about liking someone may be unavailable early; return to it after the relationship develops.
- Sora: the video-game profile topic favors “That's cute.” The older-or-younger discussion favors “Heh. Thanks.” The job topic favors “It's working.” Her makeup, what she wants, and what she thinks of Kiryu are useful high-return topics too.
These aren't a fixed ten-card script. Your hand changes, and the chain icons still matter. Use the good options you have rather than spending every swap looking for one sentence.
A full heart bar without an extension earns Perfect. Filling it after extending earns Excellent. Good results advance the relationship, and the full Awards track thirty Excellent-or-Perfect sessions, so keep choosing well even when you're nearly at Diamond.
Once Diamond triggers, follow through outside the club: Saki at Millennium Tower, Hikaru near Taihei and Senryo, Sora and Erina at Theater Square, and Riona on northern Pink Street. Finish the scene or fight for the substory. Don't stop at the Diamond notification and wonder why Story of My Life hasn't unlocked.
For the full club Awards, also fill every hostess's profile. Diamond doesn't guarantee that you've asked every required topic. Check the profile gaps before deciding you're done with her.
