The cat café in Yakuza 6 has one pretty serious problem when Kiryu finds it: there aren't any cats. Helping with that gives you nineteen strays to find, nine in Kamurocho and ten in Onomichi.
Visit Nyan Nyan Café in the Senryo Avenue building to complete #21 and open the activity. Kamurocho's strays begin appearing after Troublr activates in Chapter 2. In Onomichi, wait until the Chapter 4 story lets you explore freely without Haruto in your arms.
Listen for meowing and Kiryu noticing a cat. When you're close enough, a blue dot appears on the minimap. A cat can use several spots within its neighborhood, so check the surrounding alleys rather than standing over one exact point and waiting.
You can feed a cat three times per encounter. If its friendship isn't full, it runs away and you need to find it again. Progress carries over. Stock up at the café before traveling because its shop carries all the food types; Onomichi's pharmacy has a much narrower selection.
Gold Tuna works well for every cat, but costs ¥10,000 a can. The cheaper favorites below let you do the same job without buying expensive food for everybody. I'm shortening the names: Chicken is Homestyle Chicken, Beef is Miso Crispy Beef, Salmon is Cheese Salmon Pate, White Fish is White Fish and Sardine, and Bonito is Bonito Flake. Fresh Tuna and Gold Tuna are separate foods.
Kamurocho:
- Viola, solid gray: around New Serena, behind it or across the street. Use Chicken, Fresh Tuna, White Fish, or Bonito; there isn't a standout favorite among the normal choices.
- Musashi, gray-and-black stripes: Suppon Street, nearby Wild Jackson, or West Taihei Boulevard. Bring Bonito.
- Kotetsu, black: Tenkaichi Alley, around Karaokekan, the park, or the northern alley. Bring Salmon or Bonito.
- Fuku, black and white: north or east of the Showa Street Poppo, extending toward the southeast side of Don Quijote. Bring Beef or Fresh Tuna.
- Milk, white: north of the café, including the area near Kyushu No. 1 Star. Bring Fresh Tuna or White Fish.
- Shizuku, white with brown patches: Nakamichi Alley, northeast of Club SEGA or southeast of Smile Burger. Bring Salmon or Bonito.
- Leon, brown stripes: outside Millennium Tower or near Sushi Zanmai. Bring Chicken or Bonito.
- Maron, light brown: outside RIZAP or just northeast around the corner. Bring Chicken.
- Victoria, white, brown, and black: Children's Park and its nearby southern corners. Bring Fresh Tuna, Salmon, White Fish, or Bonito. Expect repeat encounters; a few good feedings may not finish her.
Onomichi:
- Tora, tiger-striped: the corners around Ryunan Shrine. Bring Beef.
- Nana, black and white: around La Pente and the alleys south and southwest of it. Bring Fresh Tuna.
- Tama, white with black patches: the cemetery entrance and spaces between the graves. Bring Salmon.
- Hime, dark-gray patches: Ropeway Station and the safe area west of it. Bring Chicken.
- Mike, brown stripes: Central Shopping District near Shops Alley. Bring Fresh Tuna or Bonito.
- Rin, gray with a ringed tail: around the Navy Apartments, including across the street to the north. Bring Fresh Tuna or White Fish.
- Kuro, black: east or south of Jumangoku Chinese Soba and the pier southwest of it. Bring Beef or Salmon.
- Shiro, white: southeast Hana-no-kubo, near Kiyomi's bar and the corner of the block. Bring Chicken or White Fish.
- Koko, light brown with white paws: central Hana-no-kubo, near the safe or the small lot southwest of it. Bring White Fish.
- Kai, brown stripes: northeast Hana-no-kubo, near the northern exit or Hirose Family office. Bring Beef. He can also take repeat visits.
If you can hear a cat but can't reach it, leave the neighborhood and return so it can choose another spawn point. If an Onomichi cat refuses to appear during an early story visit, advance the story or try a different time of day before assuming it is gone permanently.
That's Purrecious only requires three rescued cats. All nineteen are for the full cat collection and its Heavenly Beast Bracelet reward. Feeding a stray is only part of the process; make sure its friendship has filled and it has actually been rescued before counting it as done.
