Yakuza 6 replaces the old coin-locker hunt with ten keyed safes, plus one separate coded safe on New Serena's roof. Five keyed safes are in Kamurocho and five are in Onomichi. Their map icons tell you where the safes are, but the keys still need finding. Here's a route that pairs every key with the safe it opens. Don't assume a sparkle on the street means the safe is on the same floor. In Kamurocho: - Tenkaichi Street: enter the building marked Sexy Club and check the staircase for the key. The safe is upstairs on the fourth-floor route, reached through Lullaby Mahjong's rear exit. Reward: Steel Underwear. - Senryo Avenue: check behind the standing sign at the entrance to the building containing Nyan Nyan Café and Modern Mahjong. Take the key up to that building's rooftop safe. Reward: Rusted Chainmail. - Nakamichi Alley: enter the abandoned convenience store south of Sushi Zanmai and look behind boxes in its northwest corner. The safe is outside in the small lot northeast of the store. Reward: High-tech Insoles. - Yoshida Batting Center: reach the stairs behind the batting center, across from Ikinari Steak. Pick up the key on the stairs, then keep climbing and follow the roof around to the safe. Reward: one tome for each of the five EXP types. - Taihei Boulevard: find the SPUNKY building north of Wild Jackson on Tenkaichi Street. The key is beside its elevator. Ride up to the office and open the safe near the window exit. Reward: Hunger Belt. In Onomichi: - Pedestrian bridge: collect the key at the south side of the bridge over East National Route 2. Go down the steps and a little southeast for the safe. Reward: Romance Amulet. - Central Shopping District: use one of the ladders at the ends of the shopping center to reach its roof and find the key. The safe is east of there, on the ground floor of the Nyuto Building below Moreno. Reward: Stamina Belt. - Hana-no-kubo: find the ladder partly hidden behind the vending machines near the middle of the area. Climb and check the shelf for the key. The safe is west of it, down the tight passage in the central block. Reward: Bloody Fundoshi. - Jingai Ferry Dock: walk to the end of the dock and inspect the northwest corner of the platform. The matching safe is beside the Oyster Shack. Reward: Fearless Binding. - Second Hill: find the short staircase south of the two closely spaced houses on the east side. The key is at the mailbox at the top. Open the safe at Second Hill's junction with the Ropeway Station path. Reward: Bloody Binding. The extra safe is on the south side of New Serena's rooftop. In the Western version, enter KP56VFA9MX2B7LH for a Rainbow Bun and ¥1,000,000. There is no physical key to find for this one. It is separate from the ten-key Award. Older Japanese-version guides may show a different code, so don't mix the regional solutions. That million yen is useful early money for upgrades, food, recruitment, or equipment. Before equipping a safe reward, read its full effects. Some gear comes with tradeoffs, and a higher number in one category doesn't automatically make it the best thing for the fight you're about to start. Opening all ten keyed safes is a Completion List goal. It isn't a separate platinum trophy requirement. Collect them if you want the equipment or full Awards, and keep that distinction in mind if you're following an achievements-only route.
