Onomichi's Yakuza 6 substories have several connected chains. Baseball leads into recruiting, recruiting opens Snack New Gaudi, the bar gives you more players and a strong speargun, and those rewards help finish the other activities. Doing them together is much less awkward than treating each one as a completely separate checklist.
Most of the first street stories open in Chapter 4 once Kiryu can leave Haruto with someone and explore alone. Baseball and spearfishing need daytime. The cemetery ghost story needs night. None of these substories has to be abandoned permanently if its first available window passes.
25. The Fools Who Dream. Listen to the argument at Ryunan Shrine and speak to Misa. Encourage her to tell him how she feels, then leave and return for the confrontation. Win the fight, find Misa near the Navy Apartments, and tell her everyone wants her to succeed. Later, once recruitment opens, speak to Kase in the shopping district to add him to your baseball team.
26. Sins of the Father. Speak to the older man on Second Hill, then approach the pamphlet distributors near West National Route 2 and agree to join the Order of Munan Chohept Onast. The quiz answers are Hept-onast, Kulipaas, Munan Akamatsu, and Re-education. Correct answers improve the consumable reward. Fight Munan Akamatsu to finish and receive the Eye of the Dragon.
27. Pocket Circuit Fighter Returns. After Clan Creator opens in Chapter 5, find Fighter at his tofu shop in Shops Alley. Talk to Sakito near La Pente, leave and return to continue, then find him at Jingai Ferry Dock and defeat the troublemakers. Return to the tofu shop to recruit Fighter for Clan Creator. This is a returning-character story, not a hidden Pocket Circuit racing league.
28. The Curse of Onomichi. Visit the cemetery at night and defeat the apparition. Leave the area and come back when the marker returns. There are five fights altogether, with more ghosts appearing in the later encounters. After the fifth, return to the cemetery once more to finish with the gravekeeper. If the final encounter won't appear, clear the story conversation waiting at your apartment first. Keep doing the visits at night.
29. Oh No! It's Ono Michio! Inspect the mascot head near Nagi Pharmacy. Agree to help. The performance answers are “Introduce yourself passionately,” “Nice to michi!”, “Oh no!”, “Onomichi ramen-michi!”, and “Oh no!” Then defeat the men interrupting the show.
30. The Ono Michio Show. Complete #29 and the Snack New Gaudi introduction, #40. Find Hironaka at the north side of Hana-no-kubo and perform Today Is a Diamond. Finish the performance for the story and Yakuza Training Gear. You don't need a perfect karaoke score to clear the story.
31. Putting on a Brave Face. After #30, approach the mother and daughter opposite the Navy Apartments. Speak to Shizuko, meet Hironaka at Yonetoku, and continue the visit in costume. “Honestly, I am” is the reassuring answer about being afraid. Defeat the hooligans. Completing this three-story mascot chain also lets the real Ono Michio appear around town for the photograph trophy.
32. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time? Meet Miku on Hilltop Path north of the cemetery and listen to her claim. Find her next at the pedestrian bridge, hear what is happening to her father, and defeat the men threatening him.
33. A Freaky Situation. Trigger the collision on the stairs to Ryunan Shrine, then talk to the apparent body-swapped couple at the top. Defeat Muranaka and his group to finish the story.
34. Assemble the Team. During the day, walk along the waterfront east of the Navy Apartments and speak to Chiba. Take a taxi to the baseball field and play the first match. Losing is scripted. Don't reload it trying to manufacture a win that the story doesn't want yet.
35. We Need a Ringer. Return to the baseball field after #34. Find Moritsuka in Hana-no-kubo, defeat him, and recruit him. This is the important gate that opens wider baseball recruitment and helps unlock other chains.
36. The Sweet Taste of Victory. Return to the field and beat the Jingai Thunders' reserves. This is the first genuine win and earns Play Ball! if you haven't earned it already.
37. Decisive Battle! Jingai Thunders. Beat the main Thunders team. If your starting roster struggles, replay easier matches, spend the training tickets, and recruit replacements rather than retrying unchanged.
38. The Throne of Onomichi. Beat the Onomichi Legends. By this stage, better pitching and properly assigned fielding positions matter. Use the fishing and bar-story recruits to strengthen the team.
39. True Bonds. Defeat Kanamizawa Gorgeous, the final baseball-story opponent. Afterward, return to the Navy Apartments and speak to Kanamizawa to finish the follow-up and recruit him for the clan. Winning the match isn't a reason to skip the conversation afterward.
40. The Joys of Adulthood. Once Chapter 5 and #35 are complete, meet Hatakeyama outside Snack New Gaudi and enter. This opens the bar's friendship system.
41. What's the Matter with Kids Today? Raise Hatakeyama to three hearts and establish your friendship with Gen. Meet Hatakeyama outside the bar, pass his group conversation, then follow the story to La Pente. Completing it recruits him for baseball.
42. Powerful Memories. After opening Akiyoshi's conversations, raise him to three hearts. Pass his group discussion, then find him at the pedestrian bridge. He becomes another baseball pitcher.
43. Tech Support. Use the karaoke machine to get Gen talking, raise him to three hearts, and pass his discussion. Leave until his message arrives, then return to him outside New Gaudi. He becomes a baseball recruit.
44. The Price of Love. After the earlier patron stories open Ando's friendship, raise him to three hearts. Meet him outside the bar, go to Otafuku Pawn, return for the bar conversation, then go back to the pawn shop for the fight. Finish with Ando at Jingai Ferry Dock.
45. Kaneko's Resolve. Raise Kaneko to three hearts once he becomes available, pass his bar conversation, and meet him at Ryunan Shrine for the conclusion.
46. Thanks for Everything, Mama. Build Mama's friendship throughout your other visits by ordering food or playing darts with her. Once the other five patron stories are finished and she's at three hearts, pick up the stationery sample on Jingai Main Street near Yonetoku, then return to New Gaudi. Hide the note under the electric water pot. Wait for the rendezvous at Jingai Ferry Dock and finish the conversation back at the bar. Speak to Mama afterward for the Kiwami Speargun, especially useful for the last fishing course.
For those bar conversations, you need to finish above the marked line on the Liveliness Gauge. A failed conversation can be repeated. The full response sequences and friendship order are in the separate New Gaudi post so you don't have to guess your way through six long conversations.
47. The Old Man and the Sea. During daytime, examine the fish at Jingai Ferry Dock and meet Isao. Return, help him after the injury, and take over the dive. Clear Azure Coast and defeat the Emperor Squid. That earns the High-impact Speargun and I'll Have the Calamari.
48. World's Best Octopus. Complete #47 and baseball #35. Speak to the prospective player beside the fishing crew, clear Sunken Labyrinth, and defeat the Delicious Octopus. You receive the High-capacity Speargun and recruit Gorchov for baseball.
49. Deep Blue Sea. After #48, return to Isao and Amano, hear about the Bloody Shark, and clear Dragon's Den. The Modded Speargun is the reward, so you can't rely on that reward to make your first clear easier. Bring the Kiwami Speargun from Mama or buy Ahab's Revenge beforehand if the basic equipment is holding you back.
50. Crisis Management Professional. Find Saigo near Ropeway Station and give him a Bento Lunch Set (Pork). Buy that in Kamurocho, such as at the West Shichifuku Poppo, before traveling if possible. It isn't sold locally in Onomichi. Defeat him, then beat him twice more while he roams town through Troublr. After Clan Creator opens in Chapter 5, answer his invitation and fight him at Ropeway Station. This is the other required Amon chain.
51. Jo Amon. Complete #24 and #50, then progress through the finale's Millennium Tower section and the rooftop conversation with Nagumo at New Serena. Near Serena's elevator, check for Amon's challenge. Stock up, save, and take a taxi to Amon's Island. Beat him on any difficulty. You don't have to finish every other substory first, and a recommendation to raise your stats over 200 isn't an additional invitation requirement.
The final cleanup order I'd use is baseball recruitment, New Gaudi friendships, the stronger fishing equipment, the remaining baseball and fishing stories, the mascot follow-ups, and then Amon whenever Kiryu is ready. Keep a separate save before the finale, and use Premium Adventure if you'd rather finish the story before the longer side activities.
