Yakuza 6 has a much more manageable platinum than several of the earlier games, but there are still a few places where you can waste a lot of time by following the wrong requirements. The big one: You Did It asks for 100 completed items on the Completion List. It does not ask for 100% of the list. You do not need to master every arcade game, complete every mahjong table, rescue every cat, or max out spearfishing just to earn all the trophies. You do need all the substories, all Kiryu's skills, all five natural stats at 300, the Clan Creator milestones, and a Legend clear. Here is how I'd organize it. Start on whichever difficulty you want. Make separate manual saves, especially in Chapter 3 and before the final departure from New Serena. Keep the clear-data file separate from that pre-finale save. In Chapter 3, get Dandling Dragon while carrying Haruto and looking for milk. You have to successfully calm him during the baby-care minigame. Watch his gestures and Kiryu's hints, then follow the controls shown for your version. Merely seeing the minigame isn't enough. There are several chances, but if you fail every one, you can miss the trophy. Make sure it has unlocked before moving on. After finishing the story, use Premium Adventure with your clear data for cleanup. Don't start a fresh New Game Plus expecting it to preserve every side-story chain. Premium Adventure keeps the run you've already built. For Dragon of Legend, you can use a much shorter route than another full playthrough. Before telling Nagumo you're ready for the final trip from New Serena, keep a separate save. Finish the game once to unlock Legend. Load that original pre-finale save, change the difficulty to Legend in the phone's settings, and finish the remaining ending sequence. Don't overwrite that save with clear data, and don't lower the difficulty during the Legend finish. A full Legend replay is an option if you want one; it isn't necessary for this method. The ordinary story trophies arrive automatically: Welcome Back; Hiroshiman Shadows after Chapter 2; Her Secret Life after 4; A Dead End after 6; Priceless Child after 8; The Secret of Onomichi after 10; Cycle of Blood after 12; and Thank You. after the story. For substories, Tell Me a Story requires 10 and Hero of the Story requires 40. Story of My Life requires all 51, including Jo Amon. The extra Award for finishing the whole set can make the checklist look like it has 52 entries. There are 51 individual substories. Amon Defeated is a separate reward for beating Jo Amon on any difficulty. His invitation requires the Sodachi and Saigo chains, #24 and #50, plus the late-finale trigger. You don't need the other 48 substories to receive it. You still need those stories for Story of My Life. Troubleshooter and This Is My City require 5 and 20 different Trouble Missions. Repeat fights aren't twenty different missions. Open Troublr as alerts arrive, use the map marker, and check the completed list. Failed or missed alerts can return. The full Award list goes farther than the trophy requirement. For combat, activate Extreme Heat ten times for Feeling the Heat. Live to Fight Another Day needs ten successful escapes from fights that have actually started. Running away before combat begins doesn't count. Engage, then create distance and break pursuit. Skill Dabbler and Skill Pro are the ten- and twenty-five-skill milestones. Skill Master needs all skills. Buying stat increases alone doesn't finish the skill lists. Check Battle Skills, Heat Actions, and Other Skills. The five separate 150-stat trophies are Life of the Dragon, Strength of the Dragon, Vitality of the Dragon, Speed of the Dragon, and Heat of the Dragon. Limit Breaker requires all five at a natural 200. Once every stat reaches 200, the cap opens up. Peak Kiryu requires all five at a natural 300. Equipment bonuses don't count as natural stats. A Man's Experience, A Fighter's Experience, and A Dragon's Experience track 1,000, 10,000, and 100,000 total EXP earned. You can spend the points. You don't need to hold 100,000 unspent. Just Getting Started and Maybe You Can Do It are the early Completion List milestones on the way to You Did It at 100. Clan Creator has six requirements: - Kiryu Clan Founder: establish the clan through the Chapter 5 introduction. - Kiryu Clan Captain: reach clan level 3. This is the organization's level, not one fighter's level. - Kiryu Clan Patriarch: finish the Clan Creator story. - Word on the Streets: reach 10,000 clan influence by filling the hierarchy and improving its members. - Kiryu Clan Enforcer: get one leader to level 99. - On the Winning Team: win 100 clan battles. Repeating an offline mission counts. Keep one cheap leader, such as Masao, progressing throughout the mode. Buy the clan-growth skills, put your chosen leader in an EXP-bonus position when available, and work on level 99 while collecting those hundred victories. Don't finish the victories first and then begin the leveling project from zero. No paid character pack or online battle is required for these trophies. For minigames, What a Player asks you to try every activity. To Be This Good Takes AGES separately asks you to play every Club SEGA game: Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, Puyo Puyo, Out Run, Super Hang-On, Space Harrier, and Fantasy Zone. Visit both arcades. Let a round register instead of opening a menu and immediately backing out. Also do karaoke, darts, mahjong, batting, Club Shine, Live Chat, the cat café, RIZAP, baseball, spearfishing, and Snack New Gaudi. Their introductory or individual trophies don't automatically mean you've visited every other activity. Dragon of DoGYMa needs all six RIZAP exercises: bench press, squats, deadlifts, jump squats, lat pulldown, and seated row. You select two exercises per visit, so use three visits to cover six different ones. Complete the food-report step between sessions as needed. I'll Have the Calamari comes from defeating the Emperor Squid at the end of Azure Coast. Play Ball! requires an actual baseball win. The introductory scripted loss doesn't count. That's Purrecious needs three fully befriended stray cats, not three feedings. Club Shine Star requires requesting all five hostesses. Their Diamond ranks and follow-up stories are still needed for the all-substories trophy. Where Everybody Knows Your Name needs Beloved Customer rank at Snack New Gaudi, so develop the patrons' friendships and finish their conversations and stories rather than treating one drink as completion. The Internet's Real Purpose needs a Live Chat session with both Anri and Yua. The arcade and Live Chat score grinds belong to the full Award list, not the platinum requirements. For the smaller trophies: - How Fortuitous: keep drawing fortunes at the Onomichi temple until you get Great Blessing. A lesser blessing doesn't count. - Get Out and Stay Out!: bring an active street fight into a shop, break its furnishings, finish the fight, then speak to the angry clerk. - Off the Beaten Path: squeeze through a narrow passage and emerge at the other end. - Not the Brightest Idea: use a high rooftop drop, such as the street-facing side of the Senryo Avenue building containing the cat café. - Can of Whoop Ass: drink from a vending machine, then start a fight while its effect remains active. - Life Through Kiryu's Eyes: walk for thirty seconds in first-person view. Holding the photography camera isn't the same thing. - No Photos!: open the camera near hostile street enemies and let them approach until the encounter interrupts you. - Commemorative Photo: complete the Ono Michio stories #29, #30, and #31, then photograph the actual roaming mascot in Onomichi. The painted cutout isn't the target. Pretty Tasty requires five different restaurant combinations ordered together. An easy route is Café Alps' Sandwich Set and Strawberry Parfait; Smile Burger's Smile Burger, Smile Fries, and Smile Shake; Smile Burger's Tuna Burger and Smile Salad; Akaushimaru's Beef Plate and Draft Beer; and Wette Kitchen's Onion Rings and Tomato Onion Soup. Leave stomach space between meals. Before calling the run finished, check all 51 substories, twenty different Trouble Missions, every skill, natural stats at 300, all six clan goals, every minigame tried, the individual activity trophies, the miscellaneous actions, and the Legend clear. The Song of Life is the all-trophies reward on PlayStation and the all-other-achievements reward on Steam and Xbox.
