YAKUZA 5 REMASTERED: FINALE CLEANUP, FINAL BOSSES, AND LEGEND Major story spoilers follow. This is the practical route through the finale: when characters become available, where the last cleanup windows are, and how to prepare for the ending fights. FINALE CHAPTER 1: KIRYU, THEN SAEJIMA As Kiryu, you can revisit Nagasugai by taxi. If Sosuke's training and travel arrangement are complete, visit Ryugujo east of the batting center for the Komaki follow-up and level-breakthrough route. The theater-basement IF8 machine is also available for the additional development work. To advance, visit New Serena, then Stardust, then the lot behind Public Park 3. Defeat Baba and bring him back. Do the errands you want first; returning him through the next story step switches you to Saejima. As Saejima, finish any available Komaki or IF8 preparation, then enter the sewers through Children's Park. Visit the Florist in Purgatory and follow the event to the Coliseum. Defeat Aizawa there to end the chapter. This is not the later full-length Kiryu final boss fight. CHAPTER 2: AKIYAMA AND SHINADA Go to New Serena, then use the rear stairs to Sky Finance. After the reunion, Akiyama and Shinada travel together and can be switched at the hideout, but their paired state limits some independent errands. Their street fights are useful for team Heat Actions. The story requires a convenience-store stop for ¥10,000 of alcohol. In the Hotel District, find the man searching the trash south of the taxi stand, west of Kamurocho Hills. Talk to him, walk around until he calls, then follow the lead to the stairs east of MEB on Shichifuku Street. CHAPTER 3: KAMUROCHO HILLS Choose Kiryu or Saejima and enter through the small door to the right of the blocked main entrance. Follow the combat route around the courtyard, through the atrium, and up through the building. Respond to the falling-debris prompts before continuing through the upper floors and offices. The rooftop sequence includes Kiryu against Watase and Saejima against Katsuya, followed by the selectable confrontation. Knockback techniques help interrupt pressure, but don't enter assuming one shared supply of medicine covers both men's fights. Check each inventory before the sequence starts. CHAPTER 4: HARUKA'S LAST FREE-ROAM WINDOW Take Haruka to Komaki for her dance-based breakthrough if you want her above level 20, and finish her IF8 or agency work while she is available. Complete the Public Park 3 meeting. That opens Lost Dreams, her last listed substory, beginning at the north end of Nakamichi Street. This is also the late window for Noa Amon after all agency jobs. Return to Sotenbori and check outside Dyna Chair if you're doing that extra. The lesson studio gives two confirmations before the final departure. Finish Haruka's remaining jobs, substories, photo poses, and other character-specific checks before accepting. Premium Adventure restores access later, but cannot turn that later progress into new story-clear data. FINAL CHAPTER: THE MEN'S CLEANUP WINDOW The four men can now switch freely at hideouts. Their money and item storage are pooled, but Haruka's possessions are not added to theirs. If storage needs clearing, preserve unique crafting materials, cheat items, and useful equipment before discarding cheap replaceable items. Use the appropriate protagonist to return to his original city. This is the window for Akiyama's last substory, the Elise recruitment chain, Shinada's delayed training and Sawada batting course, the Coliseum, and Amon once everyone's substories are complete. To begin the final sequence, advance time using the bedding until evening, then speak to Akiyama, or to Kiryu if you are controlling Akiyama. Save separately first. Equip and supply all four men before leaving. FINAL BATTLES The opening lets you choose Kiryu or Akiyama for the group fights and an initial Kanai encounter. The sewer section then uses your choice of Saejima or Shinada. Don't burn through every recovery item just because these are not yet the four final individual battles. Saejima versus Majima: his knife strings are not reliably interrupted by Saejima's strongest attacks. Move or defend around the opening rather than assuming a charge will stop the stab. Be ready for the repeated cutscene button prompts. In the shadow phase, clear the six purple copies. If you can establish the grab, a throw into Essence of Clotheslining is a useful damage route. Shinada versus Baba: use weapon reach and My Meteor Tackle openings. Once Baba activates Heat, shorten your combinations; the opening phase's easy pressure becomes less reliable. Keep medicine available instead of trying to finish the powered-up section through unsupported unarmed trades. Akiyama versus Kanai: remove the surrounding men first. Kanai's knife gives him dangerous heavy attacks until the midpoint scene removes it. Avoid repeatedly extending rush combos into his stunning counter. Use movement and the running Heavy Attack's triple-kick sequence to damage him and build Heat, then spend it on genuine openings. Kiryu versus Aizawa: prepare for a long fight through several areas. Use trained counters, Heat tools, and healing throughout rather than expecting the first room to be the entire encounter. His later throws become dangerous in the foyer. Outside, interrupt his healing attempt. Watch the final button sequence so a nearly completed battle doesn't become a missed ending prompt. LEGEND PREPARATION A completed Normal run unlocks Legend, and New Game Plus is allowed. Use the clear data containing the levels and ordinary equipment you want. Premium Adventure cannot create replacement clear data, even though completion-reward unlocks have their own shared behavior. Legend removes the usual Game Over retry. Maintain rotating saves before long sections and bosses. If one powerful weapon is being shared, return it to storage before the current protagonist's part ends; leaving it in an unavailable character's inventory does not equip the next one. The Golden Pistol and War God Talisman can help after their respective unlocks, but still give every man healing and a workable personal loadout. A forced character change is exactly where a plan built around one fully supplied Kiryu can fail. After the ending, create the clear save in a separate slot. Keep the final free-roam backup as well. Those two files serve different purposes, and keeping both is much easier than rebuilding the route later.
