Yakuza 5 Remastered: finish the lottery and garbage collection
These two activities do not require collecting every sparkle in their cities. The lottery needs 20 plays. Garbage collection needs S rank.
KINEICHO LOTTERY
As Shinada, take Drawing Tickets to the lottery attendant at the southern end of Mid Square. Rotate the right stick to operate the tumbler. Play 20 times to earn the Snowman Hammer completion prize, collected through the convenience-store prize service.
Tickets can come from purchases at local shops, so missing a ground pickup does not lock you out. For a free starting supply, collect these 22 street pickups:
1. Northeast street corner by the Kineicho Batting Center.
2. Left of the batting center's front door.
3. On the south sidewalk of the batting center's block.
4. Outside Futo Momo Club.
5. Outside Dagaya, to the shop's left.
6. Outside M Store.
7. Behind the large truck in the middle of Tsumugi Street.
8. Halfway along Honjincho Street, between two green boxes on the south side.
9. Southern crossing at Kumano Boulevard/Honjincho Street.
10. In the parking lot at Kumano Boulevard/Goshiki Street.
11. At Kume Boulevard/Goshiki Street.
12. At Kume Boulevard/Honjincho Street, beside the Kineya sign.
13. On the Kume Boulevard crossing near Honjincho Street.
14. Outside Shinada's apartment.
15. In central Mid Square, at the bend in the western garden path.
16. Down the northwest stairs into Mid Square's sunken central area.
17. In central Mid Square, at the westward curve of the eastern garden path.
18. At Mid Square's western edge where Obiita Street ends.
19. At Mid Square's far northern end, just east of the round fenced area.
20. Among the tables and chairs at Mid Square's northern end.
21. Beside the large Christmas tree in Mid Square's sunken area.
22. Immediately south of the lottery stall.
Oval Square has eight more: circle the ground floor for five, then use the central stairs and search the second level for three. You do not need these eight if you already have enough tickets for 20 plays.
Prize colors:
Green: Pocket Tissues.
Blue: Small Motor, Lighter Oil or Cherry Tree Branch.
White: Gravity Converter or Large Blow-Up Doll.
Red: Super Resilient Resin or Marlin.
Silver: Pearl.
The Pearl matters for crafting because this lottery is its only source. For that separate goal, gather a batch of tickets, save before playing and reload if the batch gives you no Pearl. Reloading also rolls back the plays you just made, so keep a save with 20 actual plays completed rather than counting discarded attempts.
NAGASUGAI GARBAGE COLLECTION
1. Progress Kiryu's story to the call from Hirakawa near the end of Chapter 2.
2. Collect the sparkling rubbish that appears on Nagasugai's streets. The rubbish type is random; these are repeatable pickups, not a unique numbered set.
3. Continue collecting as you explore. Shops and battles refresh rubbish, so you can revisit areas instead of searching for a permanently missing item.
4. Check the board on the taxi office's front wall for rank progress and rewards. Check again if you have earned more than one rank since your last visit.
5. Keep going until S rank. The office rewards progress through Rubber Ball, Chili Pepper, Strong Fiber Cloth and Ash Wood.
6. After the prize notification, visit an M Store and choose Accept Prizes to receive the Encounter Finder.
Finish check: lottery played 20 times and its completion reward claimed; garbage rank S and the Encounter Finder claimed. A Pearl is an additional crafting objective, not a replacement for the 20 lottery plays.
