YAKUZA 5 REMASTERED: EVERY SHINADA SUBSTORY Shinada has 15 substories. Eleven begin in Part 4, Chapter 2; Shinada the Store Clerk follows Dirty Heart; The Scoop Photo and Daddy Papa arrive in Chapter 3; Miki's Job waits until Chapter 4. This is the complete list, including the store-clerk answers, interview trap, and repeated batting-center visits. Keep the Sacred Wood reward rather than treating every miscellaneous item as safe to sell. PART 4, CHAPTER 2 1. THE SWEET SPOT Enter the batting center and speak to Pedro. Demonstrate your batting by hitting at least one home run in ten pitches. Finishing opens Shinada's Revelation opportunity. Work on Igarashi's training if you're struggling with consistent home runs, then return for the separate Revelation event afterward. 2. WANT TO PARTY? At Tsumugi Street and Icho Street in northern Kineicho, speak to the woman on the corner. Give her an energy drink; buy one first if you have none. Defeat the men who confront you. She gives a Cherry Tree Branch. 3. NEXT! At the southeast corner of Obiita Street and Tsumugi Street, talk to the man in the vest and bow tie. Pay ¥4,500 to enter the massage establishment. When the situation becomes clear, choose “Run like hell.” That finishes the encounter and returns your payment. 4. SHINADA'S INTERVIEW Walk along the west side of Tsumugi Street between Obiita and Honjincho. Accept the manager's job interview. The résumé details and most early replies are not the decisive part. When he demands total obedience, choose “I swear to it!” Then defeat the men in the confrontation. You receive ¥30,000. 5. GETTING RICH QUICK Near the southwest save point, investigate the people gathered around the alcove. Chase and catch the chicken. Follow its owner through the introduction to Cochin Cup Classic. This completes the story and unlocks the races; winning every race class is a separate minigame requirement. 6. SAVING YOURSELF Speak to the pair outside the Hawaiian Pub near Café Alps. After the girl leaves, find her by the information booth around the middle of Obiita Street. Defeat the group of men there. She gives you Sacred Wood. Store it for Kamiyama rather than selling it or donating it as a generic investment; it is a unique crafting reward. 7. DIRTY HEART Walk outside M Store until Miyu approaches. Follow her when she walks away and speak to her at the next stop. Continue through the confrontation and defeat the man involved. The reward is a Cherry Tree Branch. Completing this also opens Shinada the Store Clerk at M Store. 8. GETTING IT SORTED At Kume Boulevard and Goshiki Street in the south, help the man who dropped his papers. Put the first set in the order 4, 2, 1, 3. Put the second set in the order 3, 2, 1, 4. Finish sorting for ¥1,000. 9. THE OLD SCOUT'S EYES At Kume Boulevard and Icho Street in the north, speak to Seto and meet the rookie. When the rookie leaves, find him at Mid Square. Win the initial fight and the later group fight. During the pursuit of Kurashina, keep following him while his stamina drains; you are not expected to tackle him normally. The chase concludes through its scripted progression. 10. GET OUT THE VOTE Speak to the dejected politician in the southwest of Oval Stage. Leave the area and return to discover that Shinada must give the endorsement speech. Use these answers: “Ramen Shachoko”; “Use transfers from the national treasury”; “Reducing the corporate tax burden”; “To raise the child tax benefit.” Complete the speech to close the entry. 11. A PRECIOUS MEAL On the north side of Oval Stage, talk to the man sitting against the wall. He gives you ¥500 to find a Nagoya-style meal. Buy the Miso Katsu Lunch Set at M Store and bring it back to him. The correct meal earns High-Grade Platinum. A pricier restaurant dish is not the requested solution. 12. SHINADA THE STORE CLERK After Dirty Heart, return to M Store and talk to the manager about the shoplifter. Agree to work the counter. After the initial setup question, use these responses in order: 1. Should I microwave this? 2. A fork. 3. 9700 yen. 4. Should I microwave that? 5. 1 Steamed, 2 Bean, 2 Pizza. 6. Three 50 yen, three 80 yen. 7. Nothing in particular. 8. May I check your age, please? 9. 8900 yen. Chase and catch the shoplifter afterward. A strong performance pays ¥5,000 and gives Tauriner + and an Expired Lunch Set. The expired lunch lowers health, so don't mistake it for dependable healing. PART 4, CHAPTER 3 13. THE SCOOP PHOTO Visit Shinada's publishing office on the east side of Honjincho Street and speak to the editorial employee. Find Michiru Yamazaki outside Club Eden. Listen to the conversation, then follow at walking speed. When he stops at the street corner, approach for the next scene and continue to the photograph opportunity. After taking the pictures, escape him in the pursuit. The return to turn in the photos happens through the event, and the payment is ¥10,000. 14. DADDY PAPA Finish The Scoop Photo, then defeat the men harassing someone outside Ebisu Pawn. Accept the escort job that follows. Choose “Oval Stage lookout,” then “Sekai no Yamachan.” Toast to “your gorgeous eyes,” and answer “songs to cheer on the weak.” After the meal, pursue and catch the gang member, then defeat the kidnappers. The rewards include ¥4,000, a Cutie Girl Figure, and Daddy Papa's Autograph. The autograph can be sold for ¥50,000 if you need money. PART 4, CHAPTER 4 15. MIKI'S JOB Speak to the new receptionist at the batting center. Leave and return between her successive scenes: - First challenge: one home run in three pitches. Choose your offered food reward afterward. - Second challenge: two home runs in five pitches. The homemade lunch restores health. - Third challenge: hit all five pitches. These do not all need to be home runs. Finish the restaurant outing after the third challenge to conclude the story. This is a repeated-visit sequence, so clearing the first batting request is not enough. That completes all 15. Shinada's Shirakawa baseball side story, Igarashi's coaching, Ayanokoji's training, and the batting-center course checklist are separate. Completing those doesn't substitute for a missing named substory, and finishing these 15 doesn't automatically finish those other activities.
