Yakuza 4 Remastered: all 100 locker keys Kamurocho has two separate sets of 50 lockers. Taihei keys belong to the lockers beside Kamuro Theater. Underground keys belong to the lockers in the Underground Mall beneath Showa Street. Both sets use A1–J5, so check the set name before chasing a missing number. The easiest way to work through them is one map layer at a time: streets and shops, western rooftops, eastern rooftops, then the underground areas. Keep this checklist beside the locker grids and cross off each key as you collect it. BEFORE THE SWEEP Talk to the man beside the Taihei lockers to get the free Locker Key Radar, then equip it. When it sounds, inspect nearby objects as well as the pavement. A key can be above your head, under stairs, inside a shop or on another floor. For distant sparkles, enter first-person view, center the sparkle and use the Look prompt. On a controller, first-person view is the right-stick click. Looking up is especially important around signs, pipes, lights and vents. Character inventories are separate until the finale. If Akiyama picks up a key, Saejima cannot use it during his own story. Leaving the locker unopened does not transfer the key. One key worth saving is TAIHEI I1. Its Chunk of Wood (Ash) helps with Saejima's Master training, so leave the key itself for Saejima. Already collected it with somebody else? You have not ruined the run. Saejima can win Ash on the batting center's Normal course with 2,000–2,350 points, or use the shared inventory once the finale arrives. A higher batting prize bracket gives a different item. WHEN TO COLLECT • Akiyama, Part 1 Chapter 2 onward: most of the city is available. The broad early sweep covers 46 Taihei and 34 Underground keys. Reserve I1 for Saejima and your Taihei target becomes 45. • Saejima, Part 2: take I1, explore the sewers and Theater Underground during free exploration, and collect the Purgatory keys as those areas open. Complete “The Homeless Men and the Cats” for Underground B3. • Tanimura, Part 3: collect Taihei D2, D3 and H5 in Little Asia. • Kiryu, Part 4: collect Taihei E3 inside New Serena. • Finale: compare both locker grids with the checklist and finish anything left over. Do not spend Akiyama's Theater Underground story battle trying to collect its hidden keys. Return during free exploration as Saejima. A locked district or a missing sparkle during combat is a reason to come back later. For the street sweep, start around New Serena and travel through Tenkaichi, Showa, Nakamichi, Pink Street and the Champion District. Continue north through Park Boulevard, then circle back through Shichifuku, the Hotel District and Theater Square. The list below stays in locker order so you can quickly find whichever letter and number your grid is missing. TAIHEI LOCKERS: ALL 50 A1: Nakamichi SEGA, road outside. A2: Asia club lobby. SUBSTORY REWARD: 1 B3: Complete Saejima's “The Homeless Men and the Cats.” This is not a sparkle you can find by circling the map. FINAL CHECK The totals should be 50 Taihei plus 50 Underground: 11 western rooftop, 11 eastern rooftop, 3 mall, 2 theater passage, 7 parking, 7 Theater Underground, 8 sewer/Purgatory and 1 substory key. If the radar keeps sounding but nothing is visible, change your viewing angle and check the next floor. If the key number seems right but its locker still will not open, check that you are at the correct locker set and using the character who collected it. Open every locker in both sets, then visit Bob at Naomi's Palace for the Beads of Good Fortune completion reward. Keep the useful materials rather than selling everything immediately, especially the Ash needed for Saejima's training.
