Yakuza 4 Remastered: Kiryu's substories and the road to Amon Kiryu's list has sixteen entries, but Amon is the final shared challenge and needs the other three men's substories finished too. Several of Kiryu's earlier stories are prerequisites for his finale content, so this is one list where the order really helps. The first batch opens in Part 4 Chapter 2 after taking Yasuko to New Serena. Be careful around the main-story destination at Millennium Tower if you want to finish side content first. Entering the next story sequence isn't a permanent failure, but it can postpone what you were doing. The Stardust chain 4. Yuya's Way Talk to Yuya and Shinya outside Stardust, then speak to Kazuki inside. Return to the street and listen to the woman on her phone toward Nakamichi. Find Shinya just south of Watami and defeat him. 13. Return of Fake Kiryu After Yuya's Way, speak to Yuya at Stardust again. Follow the impostor's trail to Theater Square's Club SEGA, then Smile Burger, then the eastern Champion District. Defeat him at the final stop for a Popularity Bracelet. 6. Color Gangs After Return of Fake Kiryu, talk to the former gang leader west of Jewel. Continue to Nakamichi just north of Pronto, then the lot behind Kotobuki Drugs in Nakamichi Alley. Defeat the men harassing the woman. This is a named substory, separate from the larger recurring Gang Encounters activity and its emblem collection. Food, old acquaintances and their follow-ups 15. Master vs. Apprentice Enter Kyushu No. 1 Star for the argument. Speak to Ueda, find the apprentice in the eastern Taihei parking lot, then return to the restaurant. Help with the recipe search, examine the offered ideas and choose to wander around town. Complete the conversations. This adds Black Tonkotsu Ramen to the menu, so it also matters if you're completing every restaurant order. 1. White Lie Finish Master vs. Apprentice, then visit Bantam and sit where the bartender directs you. When the woman mistakes Kiryu for someone else, agree to accompany her. Complete the stops and the fight. The Platinum Engagement Rings reward can be sold for ¥150,000. 5. A Doctor's Pledge Available in Chapter 4 after White Lie. Visit the docks at night and find the red-jacketed man by the water, take him to Emoto and look for an interpreter. Return to New Serena to speak to Tanimura, then finish the rescue sequence and fight. It needs the earlier substory and the appropriate story progress, not just a visit to the clinic. 14. Curry Adventure Help the delivery worker west of the hot springs. Buy a takeaway curry pack from Matsuya, use New Serena's stove to heat it, and take it back. Eating curry in the restaurant isn't the same as bringing a pack for the delivery. 12. Urban Hero After Curry Adventure, witness the costumed man's intervention in Tenkaichi Alley. Find the next event outside the Nakamichi Alley Poppo by bumping into the boy in gray, then look in front of Millennium Tower. Offer help, get Matsuya curry and bring it back. Finish the final scene for Fitness Gear. 3. Becoming Family In Chapter 4, after Urban Hero, speak to Saya outside New Serena. Find her boyfriend near Millennium Tower, then help him with the lost mother and purse-snatcher problems. The mother is in Theater Square; the thief is in Shichifuku Parking Lot. Return to him after both jobs. 2. Kiryu the Babysitter This waits until the finale and requires Becoming Family. Use daytime or nighttime rather than dusk, then enter New Serena to find Date with the baby. Suggest changing the diaper. Follow the witnesses outside: first the boy by the door, then the businessman at the next corner. Go to the Underground Parking Lot, section 404, rescue the mother and finish the naming scene. The reward includes a Zero Jewel. Batting and Kotaro 8. The Twist is Back in Style After the invitation text, save before entering the batting center. Keisuke Baba gives you ten difficult curving pitches, but you only need to connect with one. Watch the actual pitch rather than rushing each swing because the last one was slow. Winning earns Chunk of Wood (Sacred). 10. Kotaro Gets a Job Finish The Twist is Back in Style, then find Kotaro south of Bantam. Next visit him on Shichifuku west of Kanrai and deal with the angry customers. Wait for his Sushi Gin text, ask the women outside and follow their lead to southern Nakamichi. If he isn't there yet, leave the area and return. Win the last fight to finish his job-search story. Hostess information 11. Kiryu vs. Hostess Clubs Meet Minamizawa at MEB. Visit Shizuka at Shine and Maya at Jewel, then report at Cuez Bar. Shizuka: embalmer; she offers to wash customers' backs; Vegetable Sticks. Maya: model; repeated police questioning; Chocolate. You can earn ¥30,000 for each perfect report. You only need the relevant initial visits, not both full relationship stories. Finale-only stories 7. Floriography Use daytime or nighttime rather than dusk. Find the Florist's son in the green hat outside Millennium Tower and take him to Purgatory. If he isn't appearing, finish Kotaro Gets a Job and return. After the conversation, leave the mansion and find Tanimura outside the casino; leave and re-enter the area if needed. Then find Akiyama near Nakamichi Alley's Poppo and Saejima in the southern Champion District lot. Return to the Florist, then go back to Millennium Tower to finish. All four men's involvement is why this waits for the finale. 9. The Hills Have Noise Finish Floriography. Listen to the men in Public Park 3, then the conversation near MEB. Go through West Park into the Kamurocho Hills construction area at night and investigate by the main stairs. Defeat Gary Buster Holmes for the Seal of the Dragon. Both the prerequisite and nighttime matter. 16. Amon Finish all the other 62 substories across the four characters. Return to New Serena for the letter, prepare everyone, then visit the black car in the Underground Parking Lot at night, east of the taxi. This is four fights, one for each protagonist, rather than Kiryu fighting every Amon alone. The dedicated Amon post covers the equipment and phase changes.
