All right I've been done with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1. I've been trying to find out what I want to play. I'm not taking a long break. In the next few days I'll be starting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 but I think I've narrowed it down to Coffee Shop 2.
It's one of the ones that have been on my list for a while. It's one of the backlogs. As I said before when I beat a game series, I always keep that series current. I haven't played the second one yet. It's totally about 10 hours so I'm probably going to start working on that. That's probably going to be a little slower, in sessions. I love the game but it takes a lot to sit there. It's all talking almost. Really good game but I wanted to make sure that I'm playing it in sessions. That one won't take long to beat. I think I'm going to go ahead and buy the new Gears of War E-Day at some point. I got to figure out what I want to play.
When it comes to comics, though, I've been pretty deep in it. I'm just finished up the Robin Hood miniseries, a 20-issue run. I just finished that. Freaking amazing read, amazing read. I love the characters. I love the art style, some more than others. I posted a little bit about that before. It turned out to be a hell of a lot better than I was thinking and it had a pretty good ending.
You know how it is with Grimm fairy tales. There's sometimes a good ending and then you already know things are going to go downhill at some point. They'll get reintroduced in a worse situation.
I also started working on Van Helsing versus the Mummy. I forgot her name but I'm not happy about Hades being dead. To be honest she and Hades were one of my favorite comic relationships. I just loved their dynamic. I loved how they grew together. I loved everything about it and then he died. It's like her world has been spiraling ever since.
I really hope that after I get done with all these different things I'm catching up on, I'm going to be shifting into what they call the reboot. It's not a reboot, it's a continuation, but it's with a different set of characters. I really hope Van Helsing is in that cast and I really hope she and Hades are back together and that he's somehow alive. I'm not happy with him being dead. That whole thing just pissed me off so I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes.
I've still got a lot of reading left to do in this era that I'm in and some of these are older ones that I should have read before that I'm catching up on. I've spent a lot of time chasing down all these exact orders and which to read. I've actually read them out of order a little bit as well but I plan on sitting down and doing a read order when I get caught up to current. Anybody else who wants to catch up on Grimm will know what to read and when.
Even my read order is not going to be perfect because, again, I've read some of them not necessarily out of order but out of era. Some characters I got caught up on later. I try to break them up by dates but it's really hard to keep up with everything. That's the only thing I hate about Grimm Fairy Tales. It's so damn hard to keep the stories consistent because they're a big fan. Zenoscope is a big fan of large miniseries, small runs, and hundreds of comics. There was one time in Grimm Fairy Tales they had seven miniseries that all equaled up to one story: one for demons, one for vampires, one for whatever, and one for werewolves. That was so many to keep track of. I'm really good at reading comics.
