Yakuza Kiwami 2: What to Do on the Side in the Majima Saga There isn't a second set of substories or locker keys hiding in Majima's campaign. The useful side content is mostly about fighting the street bosses, picking up valuables, and sending money back to Kiryu. There are minigames you can play too, but you don't need to repeat Kiryu's entire completion list as Majima. The money transfers are the part I'd pay attention to. They turn what you earn in this little campaign into something you can actually use in the main game. Sending money to Kiryu Early on, Majima receives a message from someone collecting a gift for the Fourth Chairman. After that message arrives, use an ATM inside a Poppo store to donate. There are three payments: • Send ¥100,000. Kiryu receives a Gold Coin Prize worth ¥100,000. • Send another ¥1,000,000. Kiryu receives a Prized Plate worth ¥1,000,000. • Send another ¥3,000,000. Kiryu receives a Prize Gun worth ¥3,000,000. That's ¥4.1 million altogether. The final amount isn't a ¥3 million total that includes the earlier payments. Switch back to Kiryu's campaign and look for the gift packages at Serena or Aoi. The Prize Gun is particularly useful as something to sell. Selling it to Kamiyama puts that money toward increasing his shop's investment total and expanding his stock. Don't assume the word “gun” means this is a weapon you need to keep for combat. Fighting the street bosses There are 18, split evenly between Kamurocho and Sotenbori. Their locations aren't all the same as Kiryu's, so don't follow the main-game location list and assume it applies here. Watch for the red skulls on the map. They appear in groups of three as you move through the story, and you'll receive messages when another group becomes available. Clear the available group, continue the story, and check again when the next message arrives. You don't need to copy Kiryu's enemy-type kill requirements to unlock them. In each city, the first three bosses give Silver Plates, the next three give Gold Plates, and the last three give Platinum Plates. Sell the plates at Ebisu Pawn if you're building up the donation money. After defeating all 18, you'll receive a message about a reward at Smile Burger in Sotenbori. Go upstairs and collect ¥1 million from the back counter. That's separate from the Gold Plate sitting near the upstairs plant, so don't grab that plate and think you've collected the final reward. Keep stocked on healing items. Majima doesn't gain levels or unlock stronger equipment as you clear these fights. Useful pickups in Kamurocho These are the valuable and practical items worth making a detour for, not a claim that every small pickup in the city is listed here. • Serena rooftop: Gold Plate in the northwest corner and a Bust Amulet in the northeast corner. • Lullaby Mahjong building: Peerless Tile on the third floor. • Millennium Tower parking lot: Tauriner++ on the north side. • Champion District: Staminan Royale in the small lot. • Fusion building: Staminan Royale inside. • Children's Park on Shichifuku Street: Toughness Infinity in the bathroom. • Earth Angel: Toughness Infinity inside. Useful pickups in Sotenbori Money: • REVENGE BOOKS in Bunzaemon Outdoor Mall: Gold Plate out front. • Smile Burger: Gold Plate upstairs beside the plant. • Just north of Bishamon Bridge: Gold Plate among the red tables on the east side of the street. • Yotsudera Kaikan: Platinum Plate in the large northeastern storage room on the second floor. Gambling items: • East of Four Shine: Lucky Hanafuda Card underneath a white patio table at the café. • Yotsudera Kaikan rooftop: 10-10-1 Charm near the garbage in the northeast corner. • Yotsudera Kaikan third floor: Peerless Tile in the northeast area. • Alley behind the Grand: Royal Joker Card. Enter the alley from the south. • Yotsudera Kaikan rooftop: Bust Amulet behind the desk on the east side. • West of the Shofukucho Poppo: Blackjack Amulet in the small doorway behind the taxi. Recovery items: • Southwest of Kukuru: Tauriner++ in the alcove. • Acupuncturist's office: Tauriner++, Staminan Royale, and Toughness Infinity. • Yotsudera Kaikan rooftop: Tauriner++ at the soccer goal. • Inside Infomen northwest of Ebisu Pawn: Staminan Royale on the green stool. • Yotsudera Kaikan: Staminan Royale outside the casino door. • Karaoke Snack Bar: Staminan Royale on a table. • Just north of Bishamon Bridge, west side: Staminan Royale in the bathroom. • Office above Wild Jackson: Toughness Infinity. Use the stairs on the north side. • Outside Hotel Travis, east of Gandhara: Toughness Infinity. The plates can go straight toward your donations. The gambling items give you another way to earn money through the casino and gambling hall. You can also earn plates at the batting center if you'd rather do that. You don't have to force yourself through every possible activity just to reach the donation total. What else can Majima actually play? Karaoke has his one song. You can also play mahjong, shogi, golf, solo darts, batting, the casino and gambling-hall games, and the available arcade activities, including Virtua Fighter 2, Virtual-On, UFO Catcher, and Toylets. You aren't running the cabaret club, doing Clan Creator missions, taking on bouncer missions, or clearing the Coliseum as Majima in this campaign. Those belong to Kiryu's side of Kiwami 2. Before finishing Keep a manual save before the final confrontation inside the Grand in Chapter 3. Finish the optional fights and transfers you want before going in. The Saga doesn't give you its own Premium Adventure afterward, and having that save is much easier than realizing you wanted to do something else after the ending. None of these optional activities is required for The Majima Factor. Finishing the three story chapters earns that. Everything here is for people who want to get more out of the campaign and bring some useful money back to Kiryu.
