Yakuza Kiwami: Restaurants, Rare Enemies, and Finishing the Completion List All right, let's talk about the little things that can keep Kiwami sitting at 99 percent. You can beat the story, finish the big minigames, and still have a list full of restaurant orders, street fights, broken objects, and things you thought you had already done. Some of these will happen while you work on everything else. Some need a little attention, because the game is counting something more specific than it first appears. The point here is to finish those remaining jobs without spending another evening running around Kamurocho hoping the percentage changes. CHECK THE RIGHT LIST The Completion List is the one tied to Perfectionist. The Play Log gives you more detailed records, including things beyond what that achievement actually requires. That distinction matters. You need 40 different Heat Actions, not every Heat Action. You need 100 weapons and 70 gear items, not every piece of equipment. A blank entry in the Play Log does not automatically mean another job you must finish for Perfectionist. [How the two lists differ](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/completion) Use the Completion List to find the unfinished requirement, then open the relevant Play Log section to identify what is missing. Otherwise, you can spend an hour chasing something you did not need while the actual problem is one drink at Bantam. EATING YOUR WAY THROUGH KAMUROCHO There are twelve restaurant and bar checklists. Complete a venue by ordering every item on its menu, including drinks. Here are the totals to check against: • Gindaco: 13 items. • Yoronotaki: 21 items. • Akaushimaru: 3 items. • Kyushu No. 1 Star: 4 items. • Sushi Gin: 14 items. • Pronto: 25 items across its two menus. • Cafe Alps: 10 items. • Smile Burger: 7 items. • Shellac: 16 items. • Vincent: 17 items. • Bantam: 17 items. • Kanrai: 13 items. Those are separate venue checklists. Drinking a particular whisky at one bar does not complete that whisky's entry at every other bar that sells it. Akaushimaru's two branches, however, share the same restaurant checklist. [Restaurant completion totals](https://neoseeker.com/yakuza-kiwami/walkthrough/CompletionList) [Akaushimaru and the restaurant menus](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Yakuza_Kiwami/Eateries) I would clear one menu at a time and check it before moving on. Leaving two missing items at six different places makes the cleanup more annoying than it needs to be. Scroll through the whole menu instead of assuming everything is visible on the first screen. Bottomless Stomach is the upgrade that makes this much easier. Buy it from Bob Utsunomiya at the southern Tenkaichi Street gate. It lets Kiryu eat while his health is full. The upgrade itself costs 7 CP, but you cannot jump straight to it. Adventure rewards unlock in order, so reaching it costs 29 CP altogether. That is the first six rewards plus Bottomless Stomach. It does not remove the alcohol limit. [CP costs and upgrade order](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami/cheats-data/cp-exchange.html) Before you have it, eat after fights when you have health to recover. AppStim RX is another option: it reduces Kiryu's health so he can eat again. Kotobuki Drugs sells it for ¥150. This is Kiwami's health-based eating system, so do not follow a Kiwami 2 guide about clearing a separate hunger gauge. [Kotobuki's stock](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Yakuza_Kiwami/Stores) [Eating requirements](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami/cheats-data/inventory-achievement.html) The other restaurant objective is dining 100 times. That counts separate dining orders, not the number of dishes in a single order. Ordering several items together helps the menu checklist, but it does not turn that one meal into several visits. If you still need the dining total, order one item per transaction while clearing menus. The bar orders help too. Do that work together instead of buying the whole menu in one sitting and then repeating a cheap meal fifty more times. [Dining count and inventory-food distinction](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1670634257) PRONTO IS THE ONE PEOPLE COME BACK FOR Pronto has a daytime menu and a nighttime menu. Day and dusk use the café menu. Night uses the bar menu. You need both for its 25-item checklist. Buying everything offered at lunch does not finish Pronto. Neither does coming back to the same daytime menu and buying it again. [Pronto's two menus](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/play-log) During the main story, return when the story gives you the other time of day. In Premium Adventure, use the time-changing option at Serena, then revisit Pronto. Standing outside for ten real-world minutes does not make the story's daytime turn into night. [Time-of-day changes](https://neoseeker.com/yakuza-kiwami/walkthrough/Adventure) If Haruka wants Carbonara, that is on Pronto's daytime menu. Combine that request with the café visit if the timing works. Do not go searching the nighttime drinks menu for it. [Haruka's Pronto request](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/harukas-whims) CLEARING THE BARS WITHOUT JUST STANDING THERE Kiryu can become too drunk to order more alcohol. Bottomless Stomach does not fix that, because the alcohol limit is separate from whether he can eat at full health. You can let the in-game intoxication wear off while doing another nearby job. Certain convenience-store drinks, including BOSS canned coffee and Iyemon tea, also lower it in the game. That is a game mechanic, not real-world advice about sobering up. The Alertness Hood, earned from substory 26, The Drunkard, helps Kiryu sober up faster. Keep it handy for the bar checklists. [Alcohol limits and ways to reduce intoxication](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami/cheats-data/inventory-achievement.html) [Alertness Hood and bar completion](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/play-log) A sensible route is to order the drinks you can, leave to handle a nearby purchase or activity, then return for the remaining entries. Keep track of which drinks are missing. Reordering the first three things on the menu every time you come back is spending money without finishing the menu. FOOD ITEMS AND MEDICINE ARE SEPARATE The 30 food items requirement means food used from your inventory. Restaurant meals do not fill that counter. Buy food from a convenience store, or buy takeaway food from Smile Burger, then actually consume it. You can use repeated copies of the same food. This is a quantity requirement, not a search for thirty different snacks. For medicine, use 30 recovery items such as the Toughness, Tauriner, or Staminan drinks. Buying them is not enough. Use them when Kiryu has health or Heat to restore. Normal street fights give you plenty of opportunities, so there is no need to waste expensive medicine just to make the number move. [Inventory food and medicine](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1670634257) Keep those jobs separate in your head: restaurant menus, 100 dining orders, 30 inventory foods, and 30 medicines. They overlap with normal play, but they are not four names for the same counter. THE ORDINARY ADVENTURE TOTALS The remaining maximum targets are: • Talk to people 300 times. • Play minigames 100 times. • Take taxis 30 times. • Travel 100 km on foot. • Sprint 10 km. • Earn ¥10 million in total. • Spend ¥5 million in total. • Earn 1 million EXP. • Open 30 lockers. These are cumulative. The lower targets that appear along the way are milestones, not additional amounts you start over from zero. [Adventure completion targets](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/completion-list) For talking, you do not need 300 different people. Repeated conversations with the same person count. If that is genuinely all you have left, use a nearby NPC with a short conversation rather than searching the city for someone new. For taxis, take actual rides. Walking up to a taxi and opening the destination menu does not replace the trip. Work them into errands on opposite sides of town, then finish any remaining rides afterward. For travel, give yourself a reason to cross the map. Check for Majima, finish the menus, look for rare enemies, and do the victim-rescue events while building distance. The walking and sprinting totals are separate checks, so remember to sprint rather than strolling through the entire game. [Repeated conversations and travel requirements](https://gamerbase.net/guias/guia-de-lista-de-completados-completion-list-yakuza-kiwami-688) The locker target stops at 30 opened lockers. Finding a key is not the same as opening its locker. There are useful rewards in the remaining lockers, and collecting all the keys is a perfectly good goal, but Perfectionist's locker counter itself does not demand all fifty. MONEY COUNTERS WITHOUT THROWING MONEY AWAY “Earn ¥10 million” means money received over time. You do not need to keep ¥10 million in your pocket at once. Likewise, the spending target tracks spending across the playthrough. Do the weapon and gear collection before forcing the spending total. Buying the equipment you actually need is a much better use of the money than buying random things purely to make the counter rise. If the money counters are still unfinished, Gold Plates give you a simple way to move them. Ebisu Pawn sells a Gold Plate for ¥100,000, and you can sell it back for ¥100,000. Buying and reselling advances the spending and earnings totals without losing that principal. Repeat as needed, checking the counters instead of guessing. This is not a profit method. You finish with the money you started with. It is a way to complete cumulative money requirements once you have enough cash to buy the plate. [Gold Plate price](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/equipment-shops) [The buy-and-resell completion method](https://gamerbase.net/guias/guia-de-lista-de-completados-completion-list-yakuza-kiwami-688) For EXP, developing Majima Everywhere and finishing substories are useful work that also builds the total. Do not spend hours repeating a weak street fight while a whole section of Dragon abilities still needs Majima encounters. STREET FIGHTS THAT ACTUALLY FINISH SOMETHING The battle targets include 500 street enemies and 200 defeats with each of the four fighting styles. There is also a separate target for defeating 100 enemies with weapons. Rotate styles while clearing the ordinary fights. If Dragon is still weak, build it through Majima and Komaki before making yourself use it for two hundred defeats. Late-game Dragon is a different proposition from the half-empty version Kiryu starts with. The victim-rescue target needs 30 interventions. Look for someone being hassled, interact to step in, and win the fight. These are specific street events, not every random group that attacks you. Entering and leaving shops can refresh the street, which helps when you are checking for another event. [Rescue events and where they appear](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami/cheats-data/kindness-upstart.html) Nouveau Riche are the men in gold suits. First buy Rich Taste, the first Battle reward from Bob, for 5 CP. That allows them to appear. You need to defeat ten. Celebrity Perfume increases their appearance rate. You get it from substory 22, The Little Match Girl. Lucky Binding, another Battle CP reward, also helps. Neither means a gold-suited man will be waiting outside every time you leave a shop. [Nouveau Riche and their unlock](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami/cheats-data/kindness-upstart.html) Take off the Beads of Good Fortune while hunting ordinary street encounters. That accessory prevents random battles, which is exactly the opposite of what you want here. [Beads of Good Fortune effect](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/accessories) The “Kiwami opponent” requirement is easy to misunderstand. You need to defeat an ordinary street enemy whose name is Kiwami. It is not a demand to use a Kiwami finisher, beat Majima in a special outfit, or clear a particular story boss. Watch enemy names and keep taking street fights. There is no special outfit that reliably identifies this one before the battle. Do not restart your whole playthrough because he has not appeared yet. [Kiwami opponent requirement](https://yakuza-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Yakuza_Kiwami) BREAKING 100 OBJECTS THE WAY THE GAME COUNTS Pick up street objects and hit enemies with them until the objects break. Beast is convenient because it can use the larger objects around the fight. Kicking over signs or throwing things around does not satisfy the requirement in the same way. The counter specifically excludes objects broken by throwing or kicking. You want a carried environmental weapon to lose its durability through attacks and break. [Object-breaking rules](https://yakuza-archive.fandom.com/wiki/Yakuza_Kiwami) [Weapon durability](https://manual.sega.jp/switch/ryu-kiwami/en/index.html) Take fights near bikes, signs, and other usable objects. After one breaks, grab another. If an enemy is nearly finished, use the next weapon to defeat him and work toward the weapon-defeat total too. Do not buy expensive weapons just to destroy them for this. Kamurocho has plenty of free things lying around, and the equipment collection counts owning different weapons, not breaking them. 300 HEAT ACTIONS AND 40 DIFFERENT ONES These are two different jobs. Repeating the same Heat Action contributes to the 300-use target, but it adds only one type toward the forty. Open the Heat Actions section of the Play Log and find unused moves. Change more than the enemy: change the weapon, the environment, the fighting style, or the enemy's position. A standing target and a grounded target can give different actions. A small weapon, a two-handed object, and a blade do not all use the same animation. [Heat Action types and tracking](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/181171-yakuza-kiwami/faqs/75194/heat-actions) Read the ability conditions before trying to force a prompt. Some actions need Climax Heat, some need a particular style, and some require the ability to be unlocked first. Dragon also needs its Heat abilities restored. A full-looking gauge does not override a missing skill. For environmental actions, grab an enemy near something usable rather than fighting in the middle of an empty road. For weapon actions, bring a few different weapon types instead of doing every encounter with the same bike. [Heat Actions and environmental prompts](https://manual.sega.jp/ryu-kiwami/en/index.html) Once you reach forty different types, stop treating every blank Heat Action entry as mandatory. Finish the 300 total with moves that are easy to trigger while doing the remaining fights. HOW I WOULD FINISH THE LAST FEW PERCENT Start by reading the unfinished entries, not by picking a grind at random. Clear the restaurant menus while finishing dining orders. Use taxis for the long trips and walk the shorter ones. Take street fights with whichever style still needs defeats. Rescue victims when you see them. Fight every Nouveau Riche you find. Use nearby objects instead of leaving another hundred breakable weapons untouched. Then check the list again. Anything still unfinished should now be a specific job: one Pronto menu, three taxi rides, a few Dragon defeats, or a particular minigame score. That is a much better position than trying to remember everything you might have missed across the whole game. Kiwami gives you more than enough reasons to get distracted. The last part of completion goes a lot better when you let the actual counters tell you what still needs doing.
