Haruka's Requests in Yakuza Kiwami 2 start out with things like buying cookies and getting something to eat. Then she wants you to win at poker, clear the golf board, and start hitting home runs.
So I want to put all of them together here, including what actually counts for the difficult ones. Getting a good score in a minigame and completing Haruka's request aren't always the same thing.
There are 45 requests across the two cities: 29 in Kamurocho and 16 in Sotenbori. You don't have to do them in a fixed order, and you don't have to finish them all during your first outing with her.
**When to do them**
The requests open in Chapter 13 while Haruka is walking with Kiryu. They're optional for the story, and you get later opportunities, including Premium Adventure. Talk to her when she mentions a location, then speak to her near that destination to confirm what she wants before starting.
If a request goes badly, talk to her again before the next attempt. If you want to work on something else, a taxi trip to the other city can change her current request without undoing the ones you've finished. [Request progression](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/82093/harukas-requests)
The checklist is under Adventure in the Completion List. Use that instead of trying to work backward from your trust rank.
I'd also keep a separate save before gambling. The cheat items are limited, and it's much less frustrating to reload a failed attempt than realize you've used your last Royal Joker Card without getting the poker request done.
One other thing before the list: Haruka does not request mahjong in Kiwami 2. You still need it for completion, but you don't need to save a Peerless Tile for an imaginary Haruka mahjong challenge.
**Kamurocho: shopping requests**
Buy the requested item during the active request. Pay attention to the branch, especially with Poppo.
- Poppo, West Shichifuku Street: Handmade Cookies.
- Don Quijote: Takoyaki 20 Pcs.
- Ebisu Pawn: Chinese Cleaver.
- Poppo, Showa Street: Melon Bread.
- Kotobuki Drugs: AppStim RX.

- Poppo, Tenkaichi Street: Frankfurter.
[Shop requests and branches](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami2/cheats-data/haruka-trust.html)
If you're already carrying the maximum amount of a requested consumable, make room so you can buy another. Having bought it hours earlier isn't the same as buying it for her now. [Inventory-limit troubleshooting](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/77791282?page=1)

**Kamurocho: minigame requests**
- Darts, upstairs at Club SEGA Theater Square: score at least 300 in Count-Up.
- Yoshida Batting Center: clear one set of Home Run Competition, with eight home runs in ten pitches.
- Karaokekan: for a reliable clear, score at least 90 on Kiryu's Pride from Despair during the visit with Haruka.
- UFO Catcher, Club SEGA Nakamichi Street: catch AiAi.
- Blackjack, Purgatory Casino: finish one seated session at least 800 chips ahead.
- Poker, Purgatory Casino: finish one seated session at least 1,000 chips ahead.
- Koi-koi, Dragon Palace Gambling Hall: earn over 500 in one game.
- Oicho-kabu, Dragon Palace Gambling Hall: earn over 300 before ending the session.
The gambling hall is on Dragon Palace's third floor. Finish To the Dragon Palace if you haven't opened the building yet. Use the venue Haruka asks for, not whichever table is nearest. [Gambling requests](https://gamerbase.net/guias/guia-de-lista-de-completados-completion-list-yakuza-kiwami-2-698)
**Sotenbori: shopping requests**

- Poppo, Sotenbori Street: Pudding.
- Ebisu Pawn: Military-grade Bulletproof Vest.
- Don Quijote: Rough Waistband.
- Poppo, Shofukucho: Healthy Balanced Bento.

- Kushikatsu Daruma: Sotenbori Set.
[Sotenbori food checklist](https://gamerbase.net/guias/guia-de-lista-de-completados-completion-list-yakuza-kiwami-2-698)
**Sotenbori: minigame requests**
- Yokobori Golf Center: make eight bingo lines within ten shots. That means clearing all nine panels.
- Club SEGA Sotenbori: beat the first three opponents in Virtual-On, through Dorkas.
That's the full list. The rest of this is how I'd approach the requests that can hold everything up.
**Poker: watch your profit, not your wallet**
Write down your chips before you sit down and add 1,000. If you start with 3,000, you need to leave with at least 4,000. Losing 200 and then winning 1,000 only puts you 800 ahead.
Stay seated while working toward the target. Leaving after each good hand doesn't combine those separate sessions into Haruka's requested result. [Poker session requirement](https://playstationtrophies.org/forum/topic/303626-warning-harukas-request-poker/)
A Royal Joker Card helps the next community-card reveal. It doesn't force the other players to put all their chips into the pot. I'd wait until the flop has given me a useful hand and there is something worth winning, then use it before the turn or river if the next card can finish a strong combination. Using it before the flop can improve the shared board for everybody. [Royal Joker timing](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/casino-poker)
Don't throw several rare cards into tiny pots just because the hand looks impressive. A great hand that makes everybody fold can still leave you well short of the target.
There are Royal Joker Cards in Kamurocho locker G5 and Sotenbori locker A5. Two more are hidden in the cities: at the end of the stair route north of the intersection east of Beam, and outside the Sotenbori acupuncturist's door. Haruka gives another at SSS rank. [Joker locations](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2407247194)
Save before the session. If it falls apart, reload that save to recover the cards you spent. Once you have the necessary net profit, leave and check that the request cleared. You aren't trying to win the entire casino.
**Blackjack: the ordinary table is enough**
You don't need to hunt for a high-stakes table to solve this one. A winning streak increases the low-rate table's bet cap: 100 to begin, then 300, 500, and 1,000 after successive wins.
A Blackjack Amulet produces five blackjack hands. Increase the bet as the streak allows, keep track of your starting chips, and leave once you're safely over the required profit. Three natural-blackjack wins at bets of 100, 300, and 500 would give 1,350 profit, assuming no pushes or earlier losses.
A Bust Amulet is different. It affects the dealer's draws, so it won't help when the dealer can stand without drawing. It also won't stop you from busting your own hand. [Blackjack bets and amulets](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/casino-blackjack)
**Koi-koi and oicho-kabu**
For koi-koi, the wager matters. Playing the smallest setup makes a 500-point target take far more work than it needs to.
One useful setup is Expert, a 200 wager, three rounds, Double Points for 7+, viewing bonuses, and the Hand Guide on. At a 200 wager, a three-point final lead converts to 600. If your version offers a lower maximum wager, use that cap and aim for the larger point lead needed to pass 500. Use a Lucky Hanafuda Card if you have one, match cards by month, and follow the Hand Guide toward scoring combinations.
Calling Koi keeps the round going. It can improve your score, but it also gives the opponent a chance to take the round away. Once you have a result that clears the request, don't keep risking it just because another combination looks close. [Koi-koi settings and scoring](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/gambling-hall-koi-koi)
For oicho-kabu, choose Advanced. If you're using a 10-10-1 Charm, enable the Ten-Ten-One rule. Whether you use that charm or Trips Yokan, choose One More to draw the third card needed for the special hand. Stopping at two cards wastes what you're trying to do. [Cheat-assisted oicho-kabu](https://psnprofiles.com/guide/7816-yakuza-kiwami-2-minigame-completion-guide)
Ordinary oicho-kabu hands use the final digit of their total, with nine best. This isn't blackjack with a different-looking deck. End the successful session once you're comfortably over Haruka's target.
**Batting: choose the correct mode**
Haruka wants Home Run Competition. The ordinary Home-Run Course is how you prepare and unlock it.
Get at least A rank on Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Home-Run Courses, then speak to Manager Yoshida. Those A ranks need seven home runs in ten pitches. The competition set itself requires eight.
Use the Serene Bat if you have it. The wider cursor and timing window are worth the reduced point earnings when the goal is simply getting through one set. [Competition unlock and bat](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/batting-center)
The first set's aim positions are:
Center, bottom-right, top-left, bottom-left, top-right, middle-left, middle-right, center, top-left, bottom-right.
They are all fastballs. Put the cursor in place before the pitch arrives, then use the shrinking ring to time the swing. Don't try to chase the ball across the box at the last second. After clearing the first set, you can let the next set end and return to Haruka. [First-set pattern](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/76948924)
If the manager hasn't offered the competition, check the labels on the courses you've cleared. Home-Run Courses and Challenge Courses are different menus, and it's easy to think you've finished the prerequisite while looking at the wrong one.
**Karaoke: aim for Kiryu's song**
There are conflicting English summaries about whether either song counts. The safer route is to finish the outing and get 90 or higher on Pride from Despair, which Kiryu sings after Haruka's Otometal MY LIFE. Don't rely on a good Otometal score alone. Players have reported that not clearing the request, while a 90+ Kiryu performance did. [Karaoke request reports](https://steamcommunity.com/app/927380/discussions/0/3801650156482719130/)
Hold notes through the end of the bar. Mash the Rapid prompts rather than treating them as one press. Keep your eyes on the next part of the line instead of watching the score after every input. [Karaoke controls](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/karaoke)
If one phrase keeps ruining the run, work on that phrase. There's no gambling item that will make this one disappear.
**Golf: eight lines means the entire board**
You have ten shots to hit nine panels. Clearing the board gives three horizontal lines, three vertical lines, and two diagonals. Eight panels isn't enough.
The board and wind change according to the panels already hit. If you miss, don't automatically advance to the next instruction in a nine-shot route. Check the board state first. [Bingo rules](https://dswiipspwikips3.jp/yakuza-kiwami2/play-spot/golf-center.html)
Follow the printed target numbers: 1–2–3 across the far/top row, 4–5–6 across the middle, and 7–8–9 across the near/bottom row. This is different from the batting keypad layout. [SEGA’s board image](https://ryu-ga-gotoku.com/kiwami2-ps4/assets/img/ss/adv_play07ss.jpg)
A useful route follows panels 3, 2, 6, 1, 5, 9, 4, 8, 7. Approximate aim and power:
- 3: center aim, 75 yards.
- 2: slightly right, just under 75.
- 6: left of center, between 50 and 75.
- 1: right edge, around 100.
- 5: between panels 4 and 5, about 87.5.
- 9: far-right grid edge, slightly over 75.
- 4: center aim, slightly over 75.
- 8: rear-left corner of the enclosure, about 83.
- 7: where panel 4 was, just under 75.
Stop impact in the red zone. These are starting points to adjust, not a promise that every slightly different input lands perfectly.
The 2025 release uses 20-yard gauge intervals instead of the older 25-yard markings. Translate the yardage rather than copying an old video's tick position. Seventy-five yards is three-quarters of the way from 60 to 80. [Bingo route and version note](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/golf-center)
The full clear also awards the Essence of Golf Primer on your first success. If you earned that earlier without the active request, you still need to do the request with Haruka.
**Virtual-On, darts, and the UFO Catcher**
Virtual-On only requires the first three opponents. Continues are allowed. Beat Dorkas, let the following match end, then return to Haruka. [Virtual-On request](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/76128639)
Keep moving sideways to avoid incoming fire. Dash or jump to regain your target instead of slowly turning while somebody shoots you. Learn what your chosen machine fires while standing, dashing, and jumping; those aren't always the same attack. [Virtual-On controls](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/arcade-virtual-on)
For darts, select Count-Up at Theater Square, not 301 or Cricket. The bull is worth 50, so six bulls reach 300. Center the aim and release in the pink timing zone. Better darts earned from rivals give you more timing room. [Darts](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/darts)
For UFO Catcher, go to Nakamichi Street and catch AiAi, the orange-shirted Super Monkey Ball character. Line up both the sideways and depth movement. If a grab slips, use the way the toy moved to adjust the next attempt instead of repeating exactly the same miss. [Claw controls](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/arcade-ufo-catcher)
**Cheat items worth keeping**
For the requests above:
- Blackjack Amulet: Kamurocho I2 or Sotenbori E3.
- Lucky Hanafuda Card: Kamurocho H5 or Sotenbori I5.
- 10-10-1 Charm: Kamurocho D4 or Sotenbori E5.
- Trips Yokan: Kamurocho D1 or Sotenbori B2.
Keep the Royal Joker locations from the poker section in mind too. Don't spend every cheat on the easier general completion counters before Haruka can ask for her single-session result. [Cheat-item locations](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/gambling-cheat-items)
**Trust rewards**
F is the starting rank. After that:
- E: Haruka's Candy.
- D: Haruka's Chocolate.
- C: Haruka's Amulet.
- B: Lucky Hanafuda Card.
- A: Haruka's First Aid Kit.
- S: Blackjack Amulet.
- SS: Secret Book of Bowling.
- SSS: Royal Joker Card.
- EX: Haruka's Necklace.
[Rank rewards](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/faqs/76366/harukas-requests)
The bowling book is for a combat ability. There isn't a hidden bowling minigame you're supposed to find. And SS isn't the end of the requests just because you've collected that book.
**If you're stuck at 44 out of 45**
Check the missing entry, go to its city, and make sure Haruka is actually following you. Walk around and speak to her when the next prompt appears. After a failed minigame, reactivate the request before trying again.
If the missing request involves a shop that still has an unfinished substory, finish that conversation and revisit it. Players have reported that helping with a final shop request, especially at West Shichifuku Poppo. That isn't a rule saying everybody must finish every substory or change the time to night. [Final-request troubleshooting](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/218734-yakuza-kiwami-2/76959215)
Do the food and shopping as they come up, save before spending the rare cheats, and give the golf and batting a little practice before the actual request. Most importantly, check that Haruka has accepted the result before walking away.
Getting the score is only half the job if you did it in the wrong mode, at the wrong place, or before she asked.
