Yakuza 0: Cabaret Club Czar Original Yakuza 0. Business-story spoilers below. All right, this is the Cabaret Club Czar guide for Yakuza 0. I want to go through the actual process here, because there is a difference between getting through a few shifts and understanding what you need to do to finish the whole thing. The goal is to build Club Sunshine up, beat the Five Stars, and finish the business storyline. But don't stop at the last rival if you're also working toward the substories. The hostess training is its own part of that process. Cabaret Club Czar opens during Majima's Chapter 7 story. Finish Sunshine's introductory shift first. Unlock reference: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/chapter-7-a-dark-escape Getting a shift under control Talk to Youda, prepare your cast, and fill all eight slots. Check condition before every shift. Rest unhappy hostesses rather than sending the same exhausted lineup back out. Talk, Party, Love and Skill are service abilities. Sexy, Beauty, Cute and Funny are appearance ratings. HP is stamina. Keep coverage across the service abilities instead of stacking one strength. When seating a customer, preview his face with each hostess highlighted. Pink is the match you want. The selection pauses the action, so use that breathing room. Wealthier customers are harder to satisfy but pay more. You can replace a hostess at an occupied table to free her for a better match elsewhere. Sunshine Fever affects two tables at level one, four at level two and six at level three. It boosts spending and restores hostess HP. Don't hold a charged meter forever waiting for a perfect room. Think of it this way: if you keep losing control, simplify your next shift. Watch customer matches first, then requests, then Fever. Speed comes after you understand what the screen is telling you. Club mechanics reference: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/basics-of-a-cabaret-club The six hand signals Keep this beside you until you remember them: - L-shaped finger and thumb: Guest Glass. - Curved C-shaped hand: Ladies' Glass. - Wringing motion: Towel. - Two open hands, like presenting a book: Menu. - Hands forming a round container: Swap Ashtray. - Downward hand with thumb and little finger extended: Refill Ice. Answering correctly improves the table and replenishes HP. Don't ignore the request because the hostess was doing well a moment ago. At checkout, an accepted extension keeps the customer spending at the boosted rate. Gifts help fan growth. When the alternate checkout choices appear, rewarding the hostess restores more HP than praising her, but costs money. Pick based on what you need: fans for progression or a working hostess for the rest of this shift. Trouble is different from a normal request. Protecting a hostess can restore her HP but may send an angry guest away. An apology gift costs money to try to improve the guest's mood. Neither replaces getting the original pairing right. Hand-signal and table-response reference: https://gameplay.tips/guides/5995-yakuza-0.html Build the roster before trying to force the rivals Yuki starts with you. The other Platinums come from rival wins: Ai from Mars, Saki from Jupiter, Hibiki from Mercury, Chika from Venus and Mana from Moon. Useful recruits outside that progression: - Etsuko: finish The Obatarian Strikes. Strong Talk support. - Miss Isobe: finish Disco Dancing Goddess. Strong Party support. - Dolly: complete the Doll Girl friendship. - Unknown: complete Simon the Mystery Man's friendship. - Erranda: finish Errands on the Run. Check beside Sunshine for eligible recruits after completing their requirements. Buy Casting Call rewards at the temple to expand the roster further. Street recruits require presents from Le Marche: - Akemi, east of the southwest save point: ladies' wallet or watch. - Hiroko, East Shofukucho taxi: coat or scarf. - Harumi, near Tsuruhashi Fugetsu: handbag. - Kirara, east of the temple: boots or sandals. - Ume, western Sotenbori Street: leopard-print item. - Mitsuko, southern Bunzaemon Outdoor Mall: ring, bracelet or necklace. - Fusae, below the north end of Iwao Bridge: perfume. Harumi, Kirara and Ume may already have joined through your earlier Odyssey preparation. Don't mistake that for a missing recruit. Recruitment reference: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/the-hostess-brigade Train and dress your Platinums Makeovers change appearance ratings, not just the way a hostess looks on screen. Adjust the clothes and accessories while watching the rating symbols. A strong set of ratings is more useful than buying the most expensive-looking outfit. Colors and makeup don't improve those ratings. Special Training gives experience through conversations and dates. Better answers or minigame results mean better lessons. Keep doing it alongside the business instead of leaving everything until after Moon. The date requirements for perfect results are: - Yuki: at least 90 on both karaoke songs; three stars at disco. - Ai: three-star disco; beat her at Nine-Ball. - Saki: three-star disco; beat her at Nine-Ball. - Hibiki: beat her at Count-Up darts; at least 90 on both karaoke songs. - Chika: beat her at Nine-Ball; at least 90 on both karaoke songs. - Mana: beat her at Count-Up darts; three-star disco. These are perfect-lesson targets, not a claim that every imperfect lesson ruins the run. For the exact conversation choices, keep the individual training answer sheet open rather than guessing through every round. All six training answer sheets and makeover examples: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/preparing-your-platinums Training order and answer cues Each hostess has five conversations and two dates. Use these answer meanings, not button sequences: controller layouts differ, and the reference has a reported issue with Mana's third conversation inputs. The written choices above agree with the GameFAQs answer sheet: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/preparing-your-platinums. The GameFAQs maps also show every storefront above if a short landmark isn't enough. Start with affordable partners and reinvest as the club grows. These are fan investments, so choose the district you're actually trying to advance. Buying somewhere else doesn't solve an empty room in the area you're currently challenging. Rival battle preparation The challenge thresholds are Mars 1,500 fans, Jupiter 3,000, Mercury 4,000, Venus 5,000 and Moon 10,000. Those unlock a challenge; they aren't a guarantee your roster is ready. Mars is balanced. Jupiter favors Party and Sexy, Mercury favors Skill, and Venus favors Talk and Love. Moon brings demanding wealthy customers, so keep broad coverage. Don't make the entire team one specialty just because that area favors it. Before a challenge, run a recovery shift with backups so your strongest team rests. If you lose, build more fans, improve the roster and retry. Losing isn't a permanent lockout. My suggested approach is to separate progression shifts from battle attempts. During progression, recruit, train and grow the area. When you decide to challenge the rival, bring your best rested team instead of treating it like another training shift. If the room stays empty, work on fans. If guests arrive but stay unhappy, work on matches and stats. If everything falls apart late, pay closer attention to HP and Fever. Area preferences, thresholds and preparation reference: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1768997538 What changes in each fight Mars steals customers. Use available Fever rather than waiting endlessly for six occupied tables. Winning gets Ai and ¥300 million, and opens Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. Jupiter drains HP. Keep Fever available to recover. Saki and ¥1 billion are the rewards. Mercury damages hostess performance. Be ready to recover instead of relying on the opening matchups all night. Hibiki and ¥1 billion are the rewards. Venus combines customer theft with HP damage. Yuki becomes unavailable during its story event, so prepare another strong lineup before pushing into that challenge. Winning gets Chika and ¥1 billion. Moon steals customers and damages performance. Train and rest your strongest roster before taking it on. If its challenge won't trigger while your main-story objective is at the Grand, advance that objective first. Winning gets Mana and ¥10 billion. These victories also remove combat-upgrade locks. After Moon, continue the business story through the showdown at the Grand. That final stretch unlocks Majima's Mad Dog of Shimano style. Beating the club's sales total isn't the last thing to do. Rival events and rewards reference: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/rival-battles-with-the-five-stars Before calling this finished You can conduct one Special Training session with one Platinum per business shift. Work through each hostess's sequence to reach her associated substory. That is why alternating training with ordinary business is useful. Training progression reference: https://spwiki.net/ryuzero/wikis/183.html Keep a short checklist: five rival wins, the final business confrontation, all six Platinums recruited, their training completed, and their associated substories finished. Mana arrives last, so leave time for her rather than assuming Moon clears every remaining requirement. For full Business completion, also check these counters rather than stopping after the storyline: - ¥1 billion in total club proceeds. - 500 customers served. - 30 accessories purchased for EACH Platinum: Yuki, Ai, Saki, Hibiki, Chika and Mana. Use Makeover → Accessories. This is six separate collections, not thirty shared purchases. - Recruitment targets: six Bronze, four Silver, four Gold and six Platinum hostesses. CP-temple recruits help your working roster but do NOT count toward these recruitment objectives. - Ten partner shops in EACH of the five areas, including the friendship partners. - All five areas taken over, with their fan targets reached: Mars 1,500; Jupiter 3,000; Mercury 4,000; Venus 5,000; Moon 10,000. - All six Platinum hostess substories completed. If a small milestone disappears and another appears, keep going. These are the final counter targets, not just the first tier shown in the menu. Business completion requirements: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/816306-yakuza-0/faqs/74451/completion-metrics The useful routine is simple: train, check condition, choose an area, run the shift, then review what actually held you back. Don't keep repeating a losing setup and expect another attempt to fix it by itself. Special Training and associated substories: https://trueachievements.com/game/yakuza-0/walkthrough/14
