I've got a new open source project up on Logan Pendragon Forge called Site Migration Workbench. Say you're rebuilding a website, and a page that used to be at one address is moving somewhere else. You still have people coming in through old links. Now multiply that by hundreds of pages, and there's a lot to keep straight. That's what this is for. You bring in the old addresses, decide where they should go, and check the results. It keeps the original information with those decisions, so you can come back later and see what you were working from. If you change your mind, you can undo the changes instead of starting over. Once you've worked through the plan, it can put together the redirects for WordPress or Nginx. Then you can check them and see what still needs fixing. You can save your work, back it up, and pick up an interrupted check where it left off. Version 0.1.1 is out, and it's Gold for the Linux/POSIX version covered in the documentation. There's a local browser interface as well as a command-line option. The project, downloads, and details are here: https://t.co/gdiwQk0Dk0 And here's the rest of my open source stuff: https://t.co/o6bkClpU7Y
