SCP-179: Sauelsuesor

SCP-179: Sauelsuesor SCP-179 is a woman near the Sun who points out things heading toward Earth that we really need to notice. Her name is Sauelsuesor. Her hair stretches more than thirty-four kilometers, and she calls the Sun her brother. When several threats need attention, she can grow additional arms to point at them. The Foundation relies on her warnings. But when they finally talk to her, she makes it clear that helping them doesn't mean belonging to them. She warns others too. Some are beyond humanity's reach, and some are beings the Foundation wouldn't care about. She cares about them anyway. That's where the conversation gets interesting. The researchers keep asking for more information and cooperation, while she's already doing the thing they say matters: protecting life. Their idea of who deserves that protection is smaller than hers. She doesn't give them her complete history or agree to become theirs. They still have to watch, listen, and accept the help she's willing to give.
