Coffee Talk: the full first-game walkthrough, including the better character outcomes and the secret ending All right, this is the walkthrough for the first Coffee Talk. I'm going through every day, every drink you need for this route, and the things that are easy to overlook if you're trying to get everybody's story to turn out well. There are spoilers below, especially in the ending section. If you just want the drinks without knowing the story, follow the daily orders and stop before the secret-ending explanation. **Before you start** The main story has 14 playable days. They run from September 22 to October 18, 2020, with a time jump before the final day. Those are the game's dates, not dates you need to play on. You don't steer these conversations by choosing a bunch of dialogue options. Your main decisions are what you serve. The story can continue after a wrong drink, so reaching the next day doesn't prove you got the order right. I'm giving you one consistent route toward the favorable outcomes. Some requests have more than one acceptable answer. Where I've picked one, that doesn't mean every other drink automatically ruins the story. Put ingredients in the exact order listed. The first ingredient is the base. Tea and Green Tea are different ingredients. Don't swap them. If you brew the wrong thing, use Trash before serving, while you still have disposals available. Story mode allows five discarded drinks per day. Do recipe experiments in Endless/Free Brew rather than handing random drinks to people during this run. Use the phone as you go. Brewpad keeps the special recipes you've discovered, Tomodachill gives you character information and changing profile pictures, Shuffld handles the music, and The Evening Whispers adds more reading. Check profiles when people arrive and again after conversations, especially if a picture changes. That's useful for the gallery as well as the story. **Day 1: September 22** Serve these in order: 1. Freya: Espresso. Coffee → Coffee → Coffee. 2. Lua: Dark Chocolate. Chocolate → Chocolate → Chocolate. 3. Baileys: Cappuccino. Coffee → Coffee → Milk. Before serving, open Latte Art and actually pour some milk onto the surface. 4. Baileys, second drink: Green Tea Latte. Green Tea → Milk → Milk. Don't get stuck trying to make a perfect picture for Baileys. A simple mark is enough; you don't need to be good at drawing. His first drink is the important early reminder that an extra request can matter, not just the ingredients. You'll meet Freya, Lua, and Baileys here. Read the conversations so the relationship problems have some context rather than rushing straight through the drinks. [Day 1 order and latte-art reference](https://t.co/xkjIBXjExz). **Day 2: September 23** 1. Jorji: Honey Coffee. Coffee → Honey → Honey. 2. Freya: Espresso. Coffee → Coffee → Coffee. 3. Gala: Jahe Tubruk. Coffee → Coffee → Ginger. 4. Hyde: Jahe Tubruk. Coffee → Coffee → Ginger. Hyde wants what Gala is having. There are acceptable variations for some of today's requests, but following these four keeps the route straightforward. Don't start giving Gala his later remedy yet; this is his coffee order. **Day 3: September 24** 1. Myrtle: Honey Milk. Milk → Honey → Honey. 2. Rachel: plain Milk. Milk → Milk → Milk. 3. Freya: Espresso. Coffee → Coffee → Coffee. 4. Jorji: Cough Syrup. Green Tea → Lemon → Honey. Yes, plain milk really means selecting Milk three times. It doesn't have to be a special named recipe in Brewpad to be the right answer. Rachel's introduction matters again later. For now, just read through it and finish the day. [Days 2–3 order reference](https://t.co/fuigfoaANE). **Day 4: September 25** 1. Hyde: Ginger Green Tea. Green Tea → Ginger → Ginger. 2. Freya: STMJ. Milk → Ginger → Honey. 3. Lua: Green Tea Latte. Green Tea → Milk → Milk. 4. Gala: Gala Had. Tea → Milk → Ginger. Remember that last recipe. Tea, Milk, Ginger. Gala is looking for a remedy, and this is the combination you're going to keep using when he asks for it. It becomes particularly important on Day 11. Freya isn't getting her usual espresso here. STMJ is a suitable answer to today's different request. **Day 5: September 26** 1. The unusual visitor, Neil: Black Lemon. Coffee → Coffee → Lemon. 2. Myrtle: Café Latte. Coffee → Milk → Milk. 3. Aqua: Masala Chai. Tea → Ginger → Cinnamon. Neil's first visit is flexible. Black Lemon is a useful choice because it adds another special recipe to your collection. Don't confuse this visit with his later visit, when you should make a specific drink. Check Aqua, Myrtle, and Rachel's available profile pictures while working through this part of the story. [Days 4–5 order reference](https://t.co/kzeoRmhZSU). **Day 6: September 27** 1. Aqua: Russian Tea. Tea → Lemon → Cinnamon. 2. Freya: Espresso. Coffee → Coffee → Coffee. 3. Hendry: STMJ. Milk → Ginger → Honey. You'll get more context for Rachel and her father. Check Hendry's profile too. The game is building these relationships across several visits, so keep giving them what they need rather than treating the final conversation as the only important one. **Day 7: September 28** 1. Gala: Gala Had. Tea → Milk → Ginger. 2. Baileys: Ginger Latte. Coffee → Ginger → Milk. Ginger Latte has Ginger in the second slot and Milk in the third. Coffee → Milk → Ginger is not the recipe you're aiming for. [Days 6–7 order reference](https://t.co/TN4uMAPss1). **Day 8: September 29** 1. Gala: Gala Had. Tea → Milk → Ginger. 2. Hyde: Midsummer Night’s Dream. Tea → Lemon → Honey. 3. Neil: Milky Way. Milk → Honey → Mint. Neil asks you to surprise him. Make the Milky Way anyway. This is one of the important serves for getting his fuller conversation and setting up the ending route. Finish the conversation after serving him. Don't stop as soon as the drink leaves the counter. Check Neil's profile and Freya's changed picture while you're here. **Day 9: September 30** 1. Aqua: Marrakech. Green Tea → Mint → Mint. 2. Myrtle: Teh Tarik. Tea → Tea → Milk. 3. Rachel: Chocobee Miruku. Chocolate → Honey → Milk. 4. Hendry: Spanish Sahara. Chocolate → Milk → Ginger. This day has several different bases and ingredient orders. Read the name before brewing instead of rushing through on muscle memory. Aqua and Myrtle's friendship is part of what you're following, alongside Rachel and Hendry's problems. **Day 10: October 1** 1. Freya: Black Magic. Coffee → Mint → Honey. 2. Myrtle: Jahe Tubruk. Coffee → Coffee → Ginger. Freya gives you room to choose here. Black Magic is a valid option and gets another recipe into Brewpad. It isn't a secret requirement that every player has to guess from her wording. Check Aqua and Rachel's updated profile images before moving on. [Days 8–10 order reference](https://t.co/HtDdHl2IXl). **Day 11: October 2. Pay attention to this one.** 1. Baileys: Bitter Heart. Chocolate → Ginger → Cinnamon. 2. Freya: Bedchamber. Milk → Cinnamon → Honey. 3. Lua: Gingerbread Coffee. Coffee → Ginger → Cinnamon. 4. Gala, in werewolf form: Gala Had. Tea → Milk → Ginger. Freya asks for her usual espresso, but this is the deliberate exception. She's exhausted. Give her Bedchamber, not another espresso. The game can count it as a wrong order for the "Is this it?" achievement, but it's the choice used for her favorable outcome and gallery completion. Don't see the wrong-drink notification and immediately undo it. Gala is the other major decision today. You need Tea → Milk → Ginger when he comes in transformed. Have that combination ready rather than depending on opening Brewpad during the scene. Getting his remedy right affects what happens afterward, including his presence the following day and the help available during Rachel and Hendry's story. Lua and Baileys' arc also reaches its conclusion around here. Keep their orders right rather than assuming Freya and Gala are the only people who matter. **Day 12: October 3** 1. Freya: Sugar and Spice. Coffee → Honey → Cinnamon. 2. Gala: Gala Had. Tea → Milk → Ginger. 3. Rachel: Café Latte. Coffee → Milk → Milk. 4. Hendry: plain Milk. Milk → Milk → Milk. This is the sequence on the route where you helped Gala the previous night. If your scene differs because you served him something else, go back and repair that decision rather than trying to force the same outcome from a different setup. Keep Hendry's drink simple. Plain Milk is the listed answer, not a milk-based special with extra flavors. Let the entire scene play out. [Day 11 Bedchamber and Days 11–12 order reference](https://t.co/wb2Uvif6Pc). By this stage, correct service should have filled out much of the character profile information. Keep checking through the final day and the secret-ending replay; Neil's remaining information can depend on that later conversation. **Day 13: October 4** 1. Jorji: Espresso. Coffee → Coffee → Coffee. 2. Rachel: Dark Chocolate. Chocolate → Chocolate → Chocolate. Finish Rachel and Hendry's arc and let the day close normally. You're nearly at the end, but don't quit before the game records the progress. **Day 14: October 18** There are no drinks to make today. Read the catch-up conversations and see how the characters' lives have turned out. Check the final profile pictures, especially Aqua and Rachel. Lua's changed picture is worth checking earlier, on Day 7. Keep going through the credits and the conversation afterward. That post-credits scene is part of finishing this route and points you toward the secret behind the barista. [Ending and gallery reference](https://t.co/0ElG5QiuwT). **What the better outcomes actually involve** Freya's writing, Lua and Baileys' relationship, Aqua and Myrtle's connection, Gala and Hyde's story, and Rachel and Hendry's family situation don't all resolve through one final button press. Good service across their visits is the safe route through them. The most important exceptions to remember are Neil's Milky Way on Day 8, Freya's Bedchamber on Day 11, and Gala Had during Gala's transformation on Day 11. The bad or less favorable versions are worth seeing if you're curious, but they aren't the goal of this run. Don't wreck your good run just because you think every bad outcome is required for the secret ending. **The secret ending: replay Days 1, 3, 8, then 14** After completing the story and its post-credits conversation, use Load Game to revisit the days on that completed save. Don't wipe the save and start from scratch. 1. Replay Day 1, September 22. Serve the same four drinks above, including the latte art. Watch the changed exchange about Freya's elevator meeting. Finish the day. 2. Return to the menu and load Day 3, September 24. Serve Honey Milk, Milk, Espresso, and Cough Syrup in the order above. Watch the different exchange around Rachel's first visit. Finish the day. 3. Return to the menu and load Day 8, September 29. Serve Gala Had, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and, importantly, Milky Way for Neil. Read the new dialogue during Neil's visit and finish the day. 4. Load Day 14, October 18. Read through the changed material with Freya and continue through the ending and post-credits conversation. For replaying, keep skipping restricted to dialogue you've already read. That makes it easier to notice the new lines instead of blowing past the exact differences you came back to see. Finish each replayed day before jumping to the next one. The additional scenes reveal the barista's knowledge across timelines. Freya's book also reflects that mystery. This is the secret-ending route associated with God of Caffeine. [Secret-ending steps](https://t.co/Ro5zNnUS1t) and [chapter-replay guidance](https://t.co/f00cYtxuC1). If it doesn't register, check the actual steps: completed first ending, new dialogue on all three earlier days, Milky Way on the Day 8 revisit, and a fully played final day. If your original route missed the important Day 11 serves, repair those and continue forward through the remaining days before retrying the ending. Some players have had trouble with chapter jumps. If the required scenes still haven't triggered, replay forward on the existing completed profile, reading all new dialogue, instead of deleting the save. That's the whole story route. Take your time with the conversations. Having the recipes written down should make it easier to enjoy the people in the shop instead of spending the whole game wondering whether you've just handed somebody the wrong thing.
