**Far Cry 6: Lola's Special Operations, Coolant Routes and Weekly Insurgencies** Lola's jobs send Dani out with a fairly simple assignment: steal a chemical weapon and bring it back. The problem starts when the PG-240X leaves its cooler. Sunlight heats it, water cools it, and the soldiers between you and the pickup point are quite happy to make the trip worse. The useful preparation happens on the way in. Find the water, notice the shade and work out how to get back before picking up the device. **Start with Lola, then check the actual mission list** Find Lola in an unlocked guerrilla camp. Choose a Special Operation, check its displayed reward and select **Single Player**, **Add Partner** or **Quick Play**. Each map's higher difficulty unlocks by completing the preceding level. Learn the route on Standard before moving through its Mastery difficulties. [Ubisoft's Special Operations instructions](https://t.co/F6nZ64KXtw). These operations require an internet connection even when played solo. They are separate outings from the main campaign map; being able to load a campaign save offline does not establish that Lola's missions are available. Older material lists six operations: - Mesozoico - Maceo - Cocodrilo - Los Tres Santos - Puerta del Edén - Malagua, the Danny Trejo crossover operation That is the historical lineup, not a promise that all six appear today. Ubisoft's [original post-launch page](https://t.co/PlaVLNPap6) still describes Malagua, while later [community documentation records its disappearance](https://t.co/D45Ii8yDFv). Use Lola's live menu as the availability check. Do not buy an edition expecting an old crossover announcement to guarantee access. The routes below cover the five non-crossover maps. Malagua is separated as historical content rather than presented as a missing mission you must somehow unlock. **Handle the PG-240X before worrying about a fast finish** Once the weapon is out of its cooler, its temperature becomes part of every fight. - **Move through shade.** Buildings, rocks, trees and other objects cast useful shadows. Choose your next shaded position before leaving the current one. - **Use water to reduce the temperature.** Stop at fountains and other cooling points instead of waiting until the device is almost gone. - **Cool it during the extraction fight too.** Reaching the pickup area does not remove the problem. - **Choose cover close to water.** A good firing position becomes less useful if reaching the next fountain requires crossing an exposed courtyard. Before taking the PG-240X, replenish ammunition and identify the first cooling stop. In co-op, agree who is carrying it and who is clearing the next approach. That gives both players a specific job when the return trip becomes messy. **Mesozoico: the visitor center and dinosaur-park fountains** Head toward the **Visitor Center**, using the distant crash smoke to get your bearings. Work around the large central landmass rather than wandering between attractions without a destination. At the center, deal with the alarm and guards. The PG-240X is in a side room near reception. Finish preparing before removing it. On the return, move between the shadows of the park's rocks, trees and dinosaur models. The main attraction areas contain fountains, giving you cooling stops on the way back to the entrance. At the entrance, the right-hand side has a useful combination of shade and a fountain. The extraction becomes a defensive battle. Stay within reach of cooling water and keep an anti-helicopter option ready for the final stage. The [illustrated Mesozoico walkthrough](https://t.co/ULa4JlJq1X) shows the visitor-center pickup and fountains. The dinosaur models are useful landmarks. Notice which ones you pass going in so the return trip feels like a route rather than a search. **Maceo: airbase to mines, plant, square and church** The red beacon marks the airbase. A northwest approach through the grassy hills passes the **BioVida plant** and **mines**, both worth remembering for the escape. At the airbase, kill the officer, take the keycard and retrieve the PG-240X from the hangar. The return route has a clear sequence: - Mines - BioVida plant - Across the road to the town square - Ruined church - Apartments at the extraction area Use the fountains and water tanks at these stops. Do not skip a cooling opportunity just because the next landmark is visible. The apartment defense ends with a tank threat. Keep explosives or an EMP option available, and avoid fighting beside burning ground while carrying the device. The [Maceo route guide](https://t.co/21KCe8htAK) includes images of the approach, pickup and extraction. This is a good map to learn as a chain of landmarks. If you lose your bearings, identify the last one you passed before choosing another direction. **Cocodrilo: the villa route has a one-way drop** Start at the lighthouse and follow the path toward **Villa Cocodrilo**. Bear right at the early fork, pass the first bridge and cross the next. Follow the villa signs as the path bends south and east. At the house, scout the entrance: the alarm sits left of the front door, with a camera above it. Roco carries the cooler key. The PG-240X is upstairs in the northwestern room. There is a fountain northwest of the villa. Use it before committing to the return. You can retrace part of the approach, but the earlier drop prevents simply climbing back along the whole route. Instead, pass through the small tobacco plantation and follow the path west to the main road. Beyond the small settlement, turn north toward the slaughterhouse, cool the device there and continue to the lighthouse. Hold the pickup area using shade, nearby water and a weapon capable of handling the helicopter. The [Cocodrilo walkthrough](https://t.co/zrwM41TuZ4) illustrates the villa and return detour. **Los Tres Santos: get behind the auction fortress** From **Sacrificio de Loquillo Monument**, follow the dirt roads northwest to the **Yara Arms Expo Center**. Go through the entrance and take the wooden bridge on the fortress's left side. Circle around the back, watch for traps and disable the camera above the rear entrance. On the second level, kill **Colonel Simón Cavallo** and take his cooler key. The PG-240X cooler is on the stage beside him. Return toward the starting monument, stopping for water rather than trying to force one long sprint. The final objective is to secure the monument against arriving enemies. For an optional Moneda detour, the stash key is at **Hillside Chapel's cemetery**, southwest within the chapel area. From the elevated blue shrine, take the nearby zipline, climb the stairs to the right and search the damaged round stone building. Do this exploration before carrying the chemical weapon. The [Los Tres Santos illustrated guide](https://t.co/1qX7nLiRUV) covers both the fortress and stash. **Puerta del Edén: plan the cave-to-camp return** The chemical weapon is inside the cave at the far end of this operation. The exposed return is the section to plan carefully. One documented route leaves the cave to the right and follows the northern side of the map through the sites numbered **7, 4 and 2**. Use those numbered landmarks to avoid cutting straight across the open center. Check the shade and cooling positions on your outward journey so you know where to stop coming back. The final fight is a cramped infantry defense rather than a tank or helicopter encounter. Make fire-using enemies a priority, and keep an escape from grenades available instead of wedging yourself into one corner. In co-op, the carrier can remain near cooling cover while the partner clears the immediate threats. The [PS THC written route](https://t.co/Tq9UPLIzyF) describes the numbered-site approach. This is a route outline, not a list of every water source or every enemy spawn at each Mastery level. **Malagua: keep the old guide separate from today's checklist** Malagua was the sixth operation in the original rollout, tied to Danny Trejo's crossover. Its objective used the same PG-240X extraction setup. Reports that it disappeared are a reason to check availability, not to assume a story prerequisite is broken. For readers consulting old footage or an already accessible historical version, its optional stash had a specific route: follow the road northwest into town, collect the blue-lanyard key under the covered area beyond the entrance sign, then continue to the tall damaged building. Climb its ladder and drop carefully from the roof to the middle-floor ledge before entering through the window. [Original Malagua stash guide](https://t.co/aH7UZqqqd0). That is an archival stash locator, not a claim that the mission can currently be launched or a complete Malagua extraction walkthrough. **Weekly Insurgencies: finish the listed jobs, then hunt the leader** **Post-campaign progression spoilers here.** Weekly Insurgencies unlock after the main story. An affected province returns military targets to hostile control, and the Insurgency menu lists the work needed to reveal its leader. Follow that menu rather than clearing random targets elsewhere: - Capture the listed FND base objective. - Retake the required checkpoint objective. - Destroy the required anti-aircraft guns. - Complete the specifically named Special Operation through Lola. The exact counts, map and rewards belong to that week's checklist. Finishing a different Special Operation will not substitute for the named one. Once all requirements are satisfied, track the revealed leader. The destination can be outside the province where you completed the earlier jobs. Eliminate the target and finish securing the base so the Insurgency completes. A leader kill alone can leave unfinished work at the site. The [original Insurgency walkthrough](https://t.co/vwGBgFTOKZ) demonstrates this loop. Its named leader, province and rewards are an old example, not this week's assignment. Check the in-game countdown before beginning a long session close to the reset. **Want another base assault without waiting for a reset?** After the campaign, **Abandon FND Base** lets you return a captured base to military control from its map entry. The enemies become **player level plus four**, and recapturing it offers increased rewards including extra Moneda. This is the separate replay feature added in [Title Update 5](https://t.co/gOxLaFFzCP). For spending, Moneda buys special weapons and items on the Black Market. Special Operations and Weekly Insurgencies are among its earning sources. Check Lola's actual inventory before grinding for a particular item. [Ubisoft's currency explanation](https://t.co/uCDUAF4beY). If Lola's online features fail to load, check [Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 service-status page](https://t.co/BHt2jKLULr) before assuming the save is damaged. The route you learned will still be useful when the connection is working; reinstalling or restarting the campaign should not be the first response to an unavailable online menu.
