**Far Cry 6 Treasure Hunts: El Este and Esperanza**
**Puzzle solutions and reward spoilers below.**
El Este’s treasure hunts put you on a dam wall, inside a booby-trapped cave and behind a pelican that seems determined to use every form of transport on the island. The rewards include shotguns, a grenade launcher, a rifle and one particularly memorable horse.
These are the **eight non-Triada hunts in El Este and Esperanza**. Mimo Abosi’s relic is covered with the other two Triada shrines. Read each hunt’s starting note before following the solution; some objects and objectives make more sense after the search area has activated.
**The Long Drop — La Joya**
**Start:** Santos Espinosa Dam. **Main reward:** Excavation Execution shotgun.
The worker on the dam has the key to the stash. First, cross the dam and get into the control building: go around its rear, shoot the interior door lock through a window, then use the roof to reach that door.
Operate the equipment in this order:
1. The sluice control beside the calendar.
2. The button on the side of the hydraulic monitoring equipment.
3. The pressure valve.
4. The main console’s button.
Return to the bridge and grapple down toward the worker’s body. Take the key, climb back up and open the storage shed where the hunt began.
The important distinction is between the interior lock and the stash lock. Shooting the first gets you to the machinery; the worker’s key opens the reward room. Before descending the dam, face the body and lower yourself carefully enough to catch the interaction prompt rather than dropping past it.
**Sweet Fifteen — Sierra Perdida**
**Start:** Torres Warehouse in northeastern Sierra Perdida. **Main rewards:** MG42 and El Unicornio horse.
The central podium needs four switches before its button will work. From the main room:
- Take the left-hand route, climb the crates and shelves, and break the wooden obstruction to reach the first switch.
- Climb the nearby ladder and follow the catwalk left to the second.
- Before returning downstairs, go along the other side of the catwalk and shoot the lock on the far door from the roof position.
- Back in the main room, take the right-hand route. Cross the obstacles without touching the live wire, then use the rear button to shut off the hazard and reach the third switch.
- Go upstairs through the door you unlocked earlier for the fourth switch.
Return to the podium and press its button to reveal the present.
Opening that upstairs door from the catwalk saves a second search for access later. If the podium remains inactive, check the four individual switches instead of repeatedly pressing the central button.
**A Little Birdie Told Me — Sierra Perdida**
**Start:** outside Patriotas Peak. **Main reward:** AR-C rifle.
Get the wingsuit before starting; building the Hideout Network at a guerrilla camp unlocks it. Danilo the pelican leads a multi-stop chase, and you need to feed him at each stop to continue.
The route is:
1. Feed Danilo at the starting perch and follow by wingsuit to Roxas Farm.
2. Feed him again and take the quadbike toward Sotomayor Farm.
3. Feed him there and follow the next flight down toward the ruined building on the beach.
4. Feed him at the coast and use the jet ski to reach the island.
5. Feed him once more for the chest key.
Keep the bird in view and move to the next vehicle promptly. Shooting Danilo fails the attempt. If that happens, return to the starting note and restart; the hunt is not permanently lost.
The flight-to-driving transitions are the awkward parts. Watch where Danilo lands rather than continuing in a straight line after he slows down, and get the next vehicle pointed toward his departure before accelerating.
**Passing the Torch — Sierra Perdida**
**Start:** Felicidad, northeast of Patriotas Peak. **Main rewards:** SPAS-12 and Fifteen Wishes wrist gear.
Follow the lit power cables uphill from the open hut. Three orange switches supply the final control:
- **Yellow house:** walk around its right side and break the boards hiding the entrance.
- **Cyan house farther uphill:** go behind it and use the platforms to reach the window.
- **Small hut beside the purple house:** break the door and enter.
Once all three switches are on, return to the open hut at the bottom and operate the main switch. The stash building opens.
The cable layout is more useful than checking every locked door in Felicidad. Follow one branch to its endpoint, operate that switch, then return to the junction and take the next. That keeps the search orderly without requiring a guess about which house counts.
**A Rising Tide — Sierra Perdida**
**Start:** Yarabi, on the southern coast. **Main reward:** Camo Quinceañera rifle.
The stash-room buttons use names painted on boats around the village. The correct order is:
1. El Tigre del Mar
2. Papi Chulo
3. El Lucky
4. Clarita
5. Roja Victoria
For the clues themselves, El Tigre del Mar is outside the starting building. Papi Chulo is near the waterside hut to the west. El Lucky is on a roof by the eastern entrance to Yarabi, while Clarita is on a roof near the western entrance. Roja Victoria is in the water behind the starting house. A note underneath the house also gives the sequence.
Use the named controls in that order and enter the room when it opens. The names matter more than a remembered left-to-right position, so read each label before pressing it.
**Parting Gifts — Conuco**
**Start:** Coco’s Conuco Oven. **Main reward:** MGL-6 grenade launcher.
The fire needs water, and the water pump needs a relocated generator.
Disconnect both machines in the nearby shed. Outside, detach the trailer from the blue truck. Reverse the truck into the orange generator to hitch it, then tow the generator to the open hut south of the oven. Position it inside until it connects to the pump’s power supply.
Turn the blue pump’s valve to extinguish the fire. Enter the cleared oven area and look through the fan opening for the lock on the roof hatch. Shoot the lock, climb the outside ladder and drop through the hatch to collect the key. Use it on the other door for the stash.
If the pump stays inactive, check the generator’s position inside the hut before trying every control again. The vehicle section is a placement puzzle. Slow reversing is easier to correct than swinging the trailer into the building at speed.
**The Emerald Skull — Conuco**
**Start:** the note in Concepción; it sends you inland to Ominosa Cave. **Main reward:** Ída’s War Dance charm and pesos.
Follow the marked route through Ominosa using its grapple points. Take the green skull from the body at the end, then immediately move away from the grenade trap. Continue out toward Turey Caves farther down the river.
At Turey, use the skull with the large carving to open the inner area. Watch for crocodiles. Climb the right-hand stairs and grapple across to the carving on the opposite side; interact with it, then return and activate the carving by the stairs.
Take the opened passage upward. Watch the tripwires, break the wooden obstruction and reach the central treasure platform. The exit grapple is above the chest area.
This hunt has two separate cave locations. Finding the first skull is the halfway point, not the reward. In the second cave, stop to clear an animal blocking the stairs before operating the carvings; dealing with the environment and the crocodiles simultaneously makes the route harder to read.
**The Last One to Leave — Esperanza, West Lado**
**Start:** the electrical substation on the coastal side of West Lado. **Main reward:** Desert Eagle.
Get onto the substation roof and trace the three outgoing power lines. Each leads to a switch:
- One is on the raised platform reached from an adjacent roof.
- Another is inside the house affected by red gas. Close the valve on the large yellow tank first, then enter and find the switch toward the back.
- The last is hidden inside another house. Activate the **radio, then the television, then the framed picture** to reveal the concealed room and its switch.
With all three powered, return to the substation and enter the reward room.
There are two different sequences here. The three power branches can be investigated independently; the household objects have a specific order. If the hidden room does not open, check that you used the radio before the television rather than assuming the entire power puzzle needs restarting.
**Finish the collection cleanly**
These hunts reward different kinds of progress. A weapon unlock, a horse and a shrine relic should not be treated as interchangeable map icons. Open the actual reward container, allow the completion message to appear and check the relevant collection afterward.
For the regional sweep, Patriotas Peak makes a useful starting point for Danilo and Felicidad, while Concepción leads naturally into the Emerald Skull route. Leave room for the Triada relic in La Joya as well; that final chain is the route to Oluso, Triador and La Varita.
