**Far Cry 6 Treasure Hunts: Madrugada and Valle de Oro**
**Puzzle solutions and reward spoilers below.**
A mongoose with a stolen key, a nightclub wired straight into its floodwater and a pirate ship with a working cannon: Far Cry 6’s treasure hunts give Dani some wonderfully strange jobs between military targets.
This guide covers the **ten non-Triada hunts in Madrugada and Valle de Oro**. Ída’s and Okú’s relic hunts belong to the separate Triada Blessings route. Together with the eight non-Triada hunts in El Este and Esperanza, and all three relic hunts, that makes twenty-one treasure hunts across Yara.
Read the orange-box note at each starting point to activate the hunt. Bring a ranged weapon and an explosive option, and get comfortable attaching to a second grapple point while already hanging from the first. Several solutions depend on looking up rather than searching every ground-level door.
**Madrugada**
**The Mongoose and the Man — Costa del Mar**
**Start:** the elevated house in Siniestra, around Aguda Cliffs. **Main reward:** Lethal Dose pistol.
Enter the fenced property beside the hunt note. The treasure is in the house, but the first key you need is by the shed. Take it and open the shed to release the mongoose.
Kill the animal and collect its key, then return to the house and open the stash. The shed key and the stash key serve different locks; finding the first does not mean the house’s treasure is accessible yet.
Keep your view on the shed doorway when opening it. The small target can get away from you quickly, and losing it in the vegetation turns a short hunt into a search around the property. Once it is down, confirm you have actually collected the dropped key before heading upstairs.
**The Legend of La Princesa — Costa del Mar**
**Start:** Blue Hole Cave. **Main reward:** Bait charm, with supplies and pesos.
Drop into the water near the jellyfish and swim through the submerged entrance. The route alternates diving passages with dry chambers, so use each dry section to orient yourself before going under again.
In the larger chamber, work clockwise around the ledges and drop into the water from the far side. Continue through the next submerged passage; at its fork, the treasure route goes right. In the final chamber, climb around to the skeleton and look above for the grapple point.
Pull up, then jump across to the elevated platform with fencing and loose boards to reach the chest.
The main danger is getting turned around underwater. Enter a passage with a clear idea of the direction you just came from, and surface whenever the route gives you the opportunity. Chasing a small supply pickup is a poor trade if it costs the air needed to reach the next chamber.
**Crocodile Tears — Aguas Lindas**
**Start:** the crocodile farm at Cobre Shores. **Main reward:** Surf & Turf rifle.
The key is inside the large crocodile in the shed toward the far-left corner of the enclosure. Deal with the smaller animals before dropping into their space, then kill the large one and loot it.
With the key secured, use the grapple point on the metal windmill to swing across to the elevated house. Open the stash inside.
This is one of the hunts where dealing with the immediate hazard is simpler than trying to outsmart the lock. Use the surrounding height to check the enclosure first. You want a clear place to land when it is time to retrieve the key, rather than discovering a second crocodile while looking at the first one’s loot prompt.
**High Supply — Lozanía**
**Start:** the mountain in Palma Forest, northwest of Verdera. **Main reward:** M16 A1 rifle and upgrade materials.
Climb from the note and follow the marked rock route into the cave. At the paired grapple points, climb or swing close enough for the next attachment prompt, then transfer.
The wide gap inside the cave is the first real trap. Use the climbable ledges on the left, traverse across, then jump back toward the route. A direct leap across the opening is too long.
Continue through the swinging sections. Break the vegetation blocking the cave exit and climb outside. Near the drop, destroy the netted rock barrier with an explosive or gunfire to bring the obstruction down, then climb to the supplies.
Pause briefly before detaching from a rope. Check that the landing is reachable and that the game is offering the attachment you intend to use; releasing too early can undo several minutes of climbing.
**Cache Money — Aguas Lindas**
**Start:** FND Storage Hub, Oasis Plains. **Main reward:** Sobek Special sniper rifle.
Go onto the roof opposite Bunker 2’s entrance. Use the switch, then quickly shoot the explosives visible through the partly raised bunker door. The blast opens a hatch on the bunker roof.
Enter through that opening and descend the next hatch. Follow the corridor to the storage room, get the key from the secured storage area, then unlock the office. Look behind the desk for the concealed button. It moves the bookshelf and reveals the treasure.
The trick is shooting through the temporary opening, not trying to sprint under the jammed door. Stand where you already have a clear angle into the bunker before pressing the switch. That removes the scramble to line up the shot after the timer has effectively started.
**Valle de Oro**
**The Missing Muse — Cruz del Salvador**
**Start:** the marina at Cape Santa María. **Main reward:** Dark Tech Mask.
Before diving anywhere, go upstairs from the starting note to the bar’s upper deck. Take the key hanging beside the numbered board. Follow the poems toward the waterside lookout, then use its zipline to reach the cliffs.
Climb to the next clue. From there, dive toward the submerged boat near the edge of the marked search area. The chest on the wreck opens with the key from the marina.
The useful order is key, clues, wreck. Finding the underwater chest first just creates another swim back to shore. The poems are also the point of the little story here, so read them before racing past their locations if you want the explanation of Rosa’s disappearance.
**And the Beat Goes On… — Cruz del Salvador**
**Start:** ¡Danza! Cave in Arroz Flatlands, northeast of Segunda. **Main rewards:** 1911 pistol and the Ay Lola “La Figura” USB song.
Break the entrance boards and enter the abandoned club. Grapple to the disco ball, swing onto the raised walkway and pull the power switch. The door opens, but the water becomes dangerous.
Use rocks and dry ledges to reach the opened doorway. Climb the yellow holds in the next chambers; near the top, check behind and above for the ledge marked by blue cloth. Continue upward and across the grapple sections without dropping into the electrified pools.
The final waterfall pulses with electricity. Watch a complete cycle from safety before swinging. Begin the swing so that the current has stopped by the time you pass through the falling water, then detach over the landing.
At the DJ booth, take **both** the USB stick and the chest. Opening the weapon chest alone leaves the music collection unfinished. The 1911 is a normal modifiable weapon, rather than a fixed unique pistol.
**The Truest Yaran — Noventarmas**
**Start:** Gran Finca power station in Cielo Gardens. **Main reward:** The True Loyalist shotgun.
Enter through the waterway beside the building, or rappel into the construction opening on its right. Follow the interior passages and ladders to the control room. The lever needs the blocked pipes cleared first.
Work down through the draining facility and remove these five obstructions:
- The pipe across from the ladder beside the initial flooded opening.
- The pipe at the rear catwalk reached after descending and swimming through the lower area.
- The pipe visible through metal bars from the platform on the room’s left side.
- The pipe beside the orange door under a green light, reached from another rear catwalk.
- The final pipe through the opening in the central chamber exposed as the water drops.
Shoot the blockages from dry footing, or use the underwater melee interaction where appropriate. Return to the control-room lever once the drainage sequence is complete, then enter the manager’s area for the chest.
If the lever still refuses to work, search the newly exposed lower opening before assuming the objective has broken. The falling water reveals another part of the route.
**Sword-Crossed Lovers — Barrial**
**Start:** the skull-shaped pirate attraction around Muerte Point. **Main reward:** La Petite Mort grenade launcher.
Break the boards beside the note and enter the cave. Grapple across, climb the yellow rock holds through the outdoor section, then descend the metal stairs into the chamber containing the wrecked ship.
Swim around the ship to a place you can stand, attach to the mast and swing onto the cannon deck. Fire the cannon to destroy the rocks blocking the far passage.
Use the mast again, this time swinging toward the newly opened route. Follow it to the chest.
Once the cannon fires, stop searching the ship for another key or control. The next task is getting across the water to the hole the shot created. Face that opening before building up the swing so you are not trying to redirect yourself halfway across.
**Liquid Courage — Noventarmas**
**Start:** Star Rocket Brewery near Del Toro Port. **Main reward:** Into Orbit rocket launcher.
Inside the main brewery room, open three supply valves:
- One on the right side of the room, near the metal supplies.
- One in the left-hand corner, beside the main boiler area.
- One reached by climbing the stairs and moving along the overhead pipes.
Once the boiler’s three indicators are green, operate its own valve. The resulting explosion opens a route above it. Grapple through the ceiling, crouch through the ventilation passage and enter the owner’s office for the chest.
The indicators provide a useful check. If the central control will not work, look for the remaining red light and retrace the valve positions; there is no need to hunt for a separate key elsewhere on the property.
**Pick the hunts for the rewards you need**
For a straightforward equipment detour, the mongoose and crocodile hunts are short once their keys are understood. High Supply gives a conventional rifle through a climbing challenge. Cache Money, Liquid Courage and Sword-Crossed Lovers add specialist weapons. And the Beat Goes On… matters twice, because its USB stick is part of a separate collection.
The relic hunts are worth keeping on the same regional itinerary, but their payoff comes from finishing the full Triada chain. Take those relics back to Oluwa Cave after all three are gathered; completing one shrine alone does not recruit Oluso.
