**Far Cry New Dawn: All Ten Treasure Hunts, With the Actual Puzzle Solutions**
New Dawn’s stashes put their loot behind a singing-fish code, a broken railway bridge, a bear with a key and several other problems the Highwaymen have failed to solve. They are worth clearing early: every stash contains three perk magazines alongside crafting supplies.
Bring **Grapple**, a dependable gun and a way to start a fire. Read the note at each location to activate the hunt, then use the tracked objective while working through it. The [free ten-hunt location reference](https://t.co/ZW5Af12qzf) supplies map images if a landmark below is still undiscovered.
**Spoiler scope:** complete solutions to all ten treasure hunts. No main-story ending spoilers.
**1. For Whom the Bear Tolls: the FANG Center**
Read the note, climb onto the church roof and shoot the bell. Keep ringing it until the bear arrives. Kill and loot the bear for the crypt key, then enter the nearby hole southwest of the church and unlock the underground door.
The key is on the animal, so check its body before leaving the fight. Choose a position with room to move when you ring the bell; calling a bear while standing beside a wall gives you fewer options when it charges.
**2. Going Haywire: Parker’s Vault**
Clear the Highwaymen at Parker’s Vault, including the rooftop sniper, and read the note. Climb the house and shoot the padlock securing its door. Once inside, use the electrical switch to shut down the field, then descend the bunker ladder and open the stash.
If you cannot get a clear shot at the lock, move along the roof and check the angle again. Save your ammunition for the locking mechanism rather than the door around it.
**3. High Art: Atelier Zilon**
The entrance is upstairs. Go behind the barn, grapple up to the tower and use the zipline into the boarded upper opening. Break the boards and work through the narrow upper passage.
Drop to the ground floor. The valve by the main door opens that entrance for easier access. The valve behind the mesh on the western side raises the blue-green car. Climb back up and use that suspended car to cross to the opposite upper walkway.
Crawl through to the final valve. It shifts the car blocking the supply room. Return downstairs and enter the stash.
There are different jobs for the valves: access, a platform to cross, and the blocked treasure doorway. Watch what moves after each turn rather than repeatedly operating the same one.
**4. Target Practice: Nadine’s Junkyard**
Read the note near the junkyard, then follow the zipline uphill to its upper end. Look for the hole in the ground and enter the underground passage. Continue to the machine and pull its lever.
Shoot the moving targets on both sides of the door. The left-hand group appears around the machinery; the right-hand targets expose themselves briefly. Completing both groups fills the counterweight buckets and raises the door fully.
Use controlled shots and wait for the moving parts to reveal each target. If the doorway is only partly open, one side of the mechanism still needs attention. Check both sides before looking for another switch.
**5. Riddle Me Fish: Skylar’s Riddle**
This cabin is northeast of Broken Forge. The bunker entrance is under the nearby shed. At the bottom, six numbered fish control the door.
The sequence is **2, 4, 6, 1, 3, 5**: green, orange, purple, black, blue, yellow.
Enter the sequence promptly. A wrong or slow attempt can trigger the trap. If you want to solve it from the clues, enter the house and activate the generator, then watch the order in which its fish move. The bunker fish repeat that pattern.
The numbers are the clearest reference if the lighting makes two colours difficult to distinguish. Confirm each interaction before moving to the next fish.
**6. Rescuers Go Under: Misery Falls**
Start near the wrecked car and stream below Misery Falls, west of The Pantry. Read the rescue note and use the grapple anchors to climb the cliff. At the top, enter the opening, swim through the pool and surface in the cave.
Follow the passages, climbing and transferring between grapple points. After the collapsing section drops you into water, the route reaches wrecked vehicles and a ledge you cannot simply walk onto.
Climb to the movable car and look near its wheel for the **release-brakes interaction**. Let it fall into the water, then use it as a stepping stone toward the ledge with blue ropes. The stash is beyond that climb.
You do not need to wait for the later double-jump ability. The car provides the intended way across. If the interaction prompt is awkward, move around the wheel carefully rather than trying to destroy the car with explosives.
**7. The Best Laid Plans: Broken Tears**
Look for the collapsed railway bridge east of The Pantry. Read the note at the eastern approach and enter the hanging train car. Grapple upward inside it to reach the bridge.
Move west along the remaining structure, then grapple and swing between the bridge supports. When a hanging carriage falls, look underneath the support for the next anchor. Adjust your rope length and transfer while still attached when the next point comes into view.
Continue across the central support and remaining anchors to the final train car, then walk through to the stash.
At each transfer, locate the next anchor before detaching. The falling carriage changes the view but does not remove the intended route. Looking below the bridge often reveals the point that is easy to miss from above.
**8. Burning Souls: Eden’s Pyre**
Read the note, then carry **five bodies** into the central pyre. Search these places:
- The bench beside the pyre.
- The other bench northeast of it.
- The building to the north.
- The platform overlooking the northwestern entrance.
- The scaffolding directly above the pyre.
Watch for wolves while carrying the bodies. Drop what you are carrying and deal with an attack rather than trying to keep walking through it.
Once the objective counts all five, ignite the pyre with a Molotov or another fire source. The hidden entrance opens behind it. If it does not, check the body counter before adding more fire; a body beside the pit may need to be moved properly into it.
**9. Go With the Flow: the riverside cave**
The starting cave is near The Watering Hole area, along the river route. Read the journal inside, then follow the objective to the **River Stash Key**. The zipline across the river leads toward the key’s campfire location.
With the key collected, follow the river **downstream**. The flags and journal pages help keep you on the intended route. Continue to the waterfall, descend safely and search beside the river at its base for the cave entrance. Unlock the door inside.
Make sure the key has actually been collected before setting off downstream. The final door will send you back a long way if you only read the note at the campsite.
**10. Light ’Em Up: Toothchapel**
Toothchapel lies between Sacred Lumber and Trailer Town. Read the note outside. Break the boards covering the low entrance and follow the interior passage. At the dead end, look up for the blue-rope climb, cross the small upper ledge and drop into the next section.
Keep moving through the narrow passage, break the next boarded opening and find the wolverine’s nest. Burn it, kill the animal and loot its body for the shed key. Get outside before the spreading fire traps you, then unlock the separate shed for the stash.
Keep a short-range weapon ready before igniting the nest. The objective changes quickly from searching a building to dealing with an animal at close quarters.
**Finishing the set**
A completed hunt can still contain loot you have not picked up. Sweep the shelves and floor for all three perk magazines, open any safe you can access and check the remaining supplies before leaving.
The ten stashes provide thirty perk points in total. Spend some of that early haul on tools that let you finish the remaining hunts, then put the rest toward the combat or carrying upgrades that suit your next mission. These small detours can make a noticeable difference before the harder outpost ranks and late story fights.
