**Blood Dragon skills and weapons: every level reward and all 25 attachment unlocks** Spoiler scope: ability names, side-mission names and late-game weapons. No ending outcome spoilers. Rex gains abilities automatically as he levels up. Weapon attachments are where your choices matter more: complete the required activity, then spend money at a vendor. Knowing which job unlocks the upgrade you want gives the side content a useful direction. **The complete level progression** Rex starts with unlimited underwater breathing, fast movement, no fall damage and regular, shuriken and chained takedowns. Every even level from **2 through 24** adds one health slot: **2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24**. The other rewards are: - **3 — Quick Swap:** faster weapon changes and aiming. - **5 — Sniper Archery:** steadier bow aim. - **7 — Improved Basic Repair:** repair three health slots without Nano-Meds. - **9 — Running Reload:** reload while sprinting. - **11 — Highwayman:** takedowns automatically collect enemy loot. - **13 — Piston Booster:** faster crouched movement. - **15 — Heavy Beatdown:** takedowns work on heavy gunners and flamers. - **17 — Expert Basic Repair:** repair four slots without Nano-Meds. - **19 — Sight Loader:** faster aimed pistol and sniper reloads. - **21 — Grenade Takedown:** activate an enemy grenade and kick him away. - **23 — Bio-Regen:** partially depleted health slots recover 75% faster. - **25 — Blast Pants:** 50% less explosion damage. - **26 — Internal Gyros:** reduced animal damage and knockdown risk. - **27 — Gunslinger Takedown:** use a victim's pistol against nearby enemies. - **28 — Combat Archery:** draw and fire arrows 50% faster. - **29 — Nano-Weave Protection:** body armor absorbs 50% more damage. - **30 — Asbestos Armor:** 50% less fire damage. There is no need to save skill points for a particular branch. Keep earning CP through the activities you want to complete, and pay attention when a new ability changes your options. Heavy Beatdown is especially useful to remember: before level 15, do not plan a quiet attack around an ability Rex has not earned yet. **How the attachment checklist works** There are **25 purchasable attachments across four weapons**. The listed tasks unlock them; you still have to buy them. The prices below total **$43,150**. The task name tells you what to look for at the adventure cabinets. A collectible requirement means the number of items collected. An animal requirement means different species, not repeated kills of the same creature. **A.J.M. 9: four attachments** - **Suppressor — $400:** Save a Nerd. - **Laser Sight — $1,200:** Birds with Attitude. - **Larger Mag — $1,500:** Insane in the Braincage. - **Max Mags — $2,000:** all 12 VHS tapes. The suppressor is a useful first purchase for a stealth-focused route. After unlocking it, practice making a clean shot from cover rather than assuming a quieter gun prevents enemies noticing everything around them. **Fazertron: seven attachments** - **Light Barrel — $750:** Tiger Fist. - **Grip — $1,000:** Unique Horn Dragon. - **Extended Mag — $1,100:** Everyone's on a Boat. - **Full Auto — $2,000:** Ruining Everything. - **Even Larger Mag — $1,500:** Hunt the Sniper. - **Mag Pouch — $2,000:** Mind the Teeth. - **Laser Rounds — $3,500:** kill nine different animal types. The unmodified Fazertron uses bursts. Full Auto changes how it handles sustained fighting, while Laser Rounds is the major damage upgrade. Choose whether your immediate problem is controlling the weapon, staying in a fight longer or doing more damage before spending the whole wallet on whichever attachment appeared most recently. **Galleria 1991: seven attachments** - **Extended Mag — $750:** three Carlyle notes. - **Double Barrel — $1,000:** nine TV sets. - **Semi-Auto Upgrade — $1,500:** Desperately Saving Susan. - **Really Huge Mag — $1,750:** all ten Carlyle notes. - **Bandolier — $2,000:** Save a Nerd – Part Deux. - **Quadruple Barrel — $2,500:** 18 TV sets. - **Fire Rounds — $3,750:** kill all 12 animal types. The shotgun gives the collectible hunt an early practical payoff. If close-range fights keep breaking your rhythm, the first TV and note milestones are concrete targets to work toward while opening nearby garrisons. **Kobracon: seven attachments** - **Extended Mag — $1,000:** Life's a Beach. - **High Powered Scope — $1,000:** Turtle Killer. - **Fog Scope — $1,250:** He's Not Heavy, He's Big Boned. - **Aim Stabilizer — $1,500:** Baiting the Hostage. - **Big Ol' Box of Ammo — $2,200:** three VHS tapes. - **Semi-Auto Upgrade — $2,750:** Insurance Scammer. - **Explosive Rounds — $3,250:** kill six different animal types. Keep the two similarly placed hunting jobs straight: the heavy target unlocks the Fog Scope; Insurance Scammer unlocks Semi-Auto. The explosive ammunition milestone comes from animal variety, so check the collection record before repeatedly hunting a species you already have. **The rest of Rex's arsenal** The four upgradeable guns share the game with several other weapons and tools: - **Bow:** a quiet projectile option for deliberate shots. - **Flamer:** spreads burning fuel over enemies and the surroundings. - **Terror 4000:** the portable minigun, unlocked during Punch It. - **Killstar:** a late-story arm weapon that fires a beam using Rex's health rather than ordinary ammunition. - **Dragon Blade:** the melee weapon used for close takedowns. - **Grenades, Molotox, C400 and mines:** explosive or incendiary options for groups, approaches and traps. - **Battle Dragon:** the armed creature used in a story sequence, rather than another vendor attachment project. The Bow, Flamer, Terror 4000 and Killstar are outside the 25-attachment shopping list. You can use them without expecting another seven-part upgrade branch to appear. The Killstar deserves one specific warning: watch your health while firing. Its damage makes it tempting to hold the beam on everything in view, but you still need to survive the return fire. Stop to recover instead of discovering too late that your weapon and the enemy are drawing from the same health reserve. **A sensible upgrade route** Start by improving the weapon you actually use for most encounters. If that is the pistol, complete its suppressor job and buy the upgrade. If the shotgun is your emergency answer, collect the first nearby notes and TVs. If you favor the rifle, use the named side jobs to build it up while tracking animal variety for its stronger ammunition. Keep a little money available after each unlock. Completing a requirement and leaving the attachment unpurchased can make progress feel invisible. Check the vendor, buy the upgrade you planned for and then pick the next target. For the full attachment achievement, use the list as a shopping checklist. Mark an item only after purchase. An unlocked icon and an owned attachment represent two different stages, and overlooking that distinction is an easy way to finish every side activity while still missing the final reward.
