**Far Cry 2 diamonds: a complete regional lookup and a twelve-case northern route** There are 221 diamond cases in Far Cry 2, and a flashing GPS light is only the beginning of finding some of them. A case can be above the road, below a bridge or inside a building you cannot enter from the obvious side. This guide gives you a **lookup for every map region**, plus an in-article route through the twelve cases in the North sector of Leboa-Sako. The complete individual-case directions remain in the linked reference; this article does not reproduce 221 separate walkthroughs. **Use one numbered reference throughout** [SENIORBILL's complete diamond guide](https://t.co/2WF8zupkNJ) divides the cases into nineteen regional sections and includes the tutorial payment separately. Open it and use the search codes below to jump to the area you need. The codes belong to that guide, not to the game's interface. These are **case counts**, not the number of diamonds inside them. **Leboa-Sako** - Northwest — 15 cases; search **LS02**. - North — 12; **LS03**. - Northeast — 9; **LS04**. - West — 15; **LS05**. - Pala/center — 13 including the tutorial case; **LS06**, plus **ID01**. - East — 12; **LS07**. - Southwest — 12; **LS08**. - South — 12; **LS09**. - Southeast — 12; **LS10**. - Central Desert — 4; **CD11**. **Bowa Seko** - Northwest — 8 cases; search **BS12**. - North — 15; **BS13**. - Northeast — 15; **BS14**. - West — 15; **BS15**. - Port Selao/central region — 12; **BS16**. - East — 14; **BS17**. - Southwest — 15; **BS18**. - South — 8; **BS19**. - Southeast — 3; **BS20**. For a district-level check, the [independent collection FAQ](https://t.co/w4o1BeKynz) gives 112 northern cases and four in the desert. The remaining 105 are southern. Keep the desert as its own line in your notes so it cannot be counted twice. Do not use one guide's case number with another guide's directions. The tutorial case and different regional ordering can shift the numbering while both guides are describing the same object. **A manageable first cleanup: North sector** This is the sector containing Shwasana, not the entire northern district. Start near its weapons shop, work toward the river and finish around the fishing village. The twelve cases contain twenty-one diamonds altogether. **Around the shop** 1. **Behind the weapons shop — 2:** break the boards. 2. **Lake above the shop — 2:** look behind the rock. 3. **Mountain pass west of the shop — 2:** search the small hut. Refill at the shop before moving toward the village. These three belong together; there is no need to cross the whole district between them. **River and road approaches** 4. **East of Shwasana — 1:** search the village hut. 5. **Southeastern bridge — 3:** descend from its southern end to the bridge base. 6. **Southern guard post — 1:** climb the rocks. 7. **Two map dots east of town — 1:** use the wrecked truck to reach the rooftop. The roof and bridge are the stops where searching at road height wastes time. Identify the climb before attempting it under fire. **Shwasana's northern side** 8. **Bus north of town — 1:** climb onto its roof. 9. **Road east from the northeastern guard post — 2:** search the hut. 10. **Eastern bank, overlooking the docks — 1:** search between the rocks. 11. **Partly submerged hut — 2:** enter from the water; check the locator to distinguish the two huts. 12. **Northern exit road — 3:** leave the road and drop toward the wrecked car. These twelve concise directions follow [cheezzhead's independently authored checklist](https://t.co/hihc8jckke), entries 16–27 under “Northern Sector.” Keep that section beside the in-game sector map for the surrounding route detail. Its numbering differs from SENIORBILL's; use one source's directions and numbers together. **Track the pickup, then leave the area cleanly** Mark a case when you collect it, especially if a fight interrupts the route. “I searched that hut” is not the same as remembering that you took its contents. When a sector remains short, revisit its awkward vertical positions before repeating every easy ground-level search. Check whether the GPS is pointing above or below you, and look for the entrance or climbing route rather than walking directly into the marker. Finish northern errands before the story's major transition, and complete southern exploration before the final one-way route. Keep a separate save before committing to either. That leaves you a way back if a collection count is still wrong. The regional lookup covers the whole collection; the detailed route here is deliberately one manageable piece of it. Use the same approach for the next sector: choose its section, check off actual pickups and finish with the count.
