**Keyes: learn the route before trying Catch**
Halo: Campaign Evolved. Major story spoilers.
Catch makes this mission different from a straightforward collectible sweep. It requires Heroic or Legendary and a fast opening run to the gravity lift. If you are still learning where the route goes, finish a normal playthrough first and return for that skull separately.
**Opening route and Catch setup**
Start from the mission beginning for the Catch attempt. Use the regular campaign, and leave skulls off for the cleanest setup. Acrophobia is specifically reported to prevent Catch appearing. Other active-skull restrictions have community reports, so avoiding them removes an unnecessary variable rather than proving every possible combination is prohibited.
The opening takes you out of the damaged ship and through the terrain below it. From the landing pool, use the falling green fluid and fire-lit passages to follow the canyon route toward the lift. Do not stop to clear every fight between Flood and Covenant on a speed attempt.
At the gravity lift, eliminate the marked Covenant defenders so the lift activates. Enter near its center and hold your interaction/pickup control during the ascent. **Catch** hangs near the top of the lift, giving you only a brief opportunity to grab it.
There is a hidden timing condition, but I am not giving you a supposedly exact deadline that the available guides do not consistently establish. Move immediately from the start, learn the turns, and don't combine this attempt with sightseeing. A reported successful time is not proof of the actual cutoff.
**Blind before the shuttle bay**
Once aboard, fight through the Flood to the room with the parked Wraith and Ghost. From the arrival side, the detour is through the side corridor behind the Wraith, where a second broken-down Wraith blocks part of the passage.
Get past that obstruction and check beside the locked door for **Blind**. Then return to the main shuttle-bay route. It is a short side passage, not a route through the locked door itself.
**Consumed and the upper deck**
When you enter the shuttle bay, the objective changes to ascending to the upper deck. Take the nearby side door that releases enemies. Fight through its corridor, including the Hunters.
From the Hunters' position, take the hallway on the right and the next left toward the locked-door end for **Consumed**. Collect it before returning to the marked ascent. The terminal is not on the bridge beside Keyes in this version.
Continue up through the shuttle bay's successive levels and the corridors leading to the bridge. Armed Flood and tight passages make careless grenade throws costly; leave yourself room to step back when an enemy rushes the doorway.
**Keyes, Piñata, and the escape**
After the scene with Keyes, turn back to the Flood growth containing him. Melee it repeatedly until **Piñata** appears, then collect it. A lack of visible reaction to the first strike does not mean the pickup is somewhere else.
Fight your way back toward the shuttle bay. This return includes fresh resistance, so don't assume the corridors remain clear. At the bay, reach the Banshee that arrives on the ground floor and interact with it to trigger the escape.
The list is **Catch, Blind, Consumed, and Piñata**. Treat Catch as the special attempt; the others are deliberate detours during normal progress.
