**Heavy Burden: the bridge, the moving platform, and the escape**
Halo: Campaign Evolved, Operation: METEORITE. Mission spoilers.
Heavy Burden starts with shipboard fighting and ends with you flying a Seraph. Do not spend the whole mission expecting the next corridor to be the last one. The data download is only the middle of the job, and two skulls are still ahead after it.
**Reach the bridge**
The opening gives you sleeping Grunts to deal with quietly. Avoid waking an entire room before you have looked at its layout. Check the corridor's side supplies before moving deeper into the ship.
Watch the paired gravity lifts: they move in opposite directions. Use the one that actually takes you toward the next floor rather than repeatedly stepping into the downward stream. The Hunters ahead are much less forgiving than the sleeping Grunts. Keep cover between you and their fire, and attack exposed areas when you have a clean angle rather than assuming a fixed number of shots works on every setting.
**Eye Patch:** before crossing the large bridge on the main route, take the side door onto the higher, narrower walkway. Follow it to its far end. The skull is beside the locked door. Do this before committing to the long gravity lift farther ahead.
Continue to the large bridge chamber and clear its defenders. Use the weapon supplies around the room rather than exhausting your last magazine while running circles in the open. Complete the data-download sequence.
**The terminal and return journey**
**Harmonious Clarity:** after the cutscene, remain on the lower level of the hologram chamber. Take the rear doors through the intervening rooms and armory into the storage area. Look behind the pods on the left for the terminal. Then return to Johnson and the escape route.
The journey back introduces more Brutes and close-range fighting. A shotgun is useful against an Elite coming around a corner, but carrying one does not make a blind charge safe. Keep a weapon that can work at distance too.
**Grunt Birthday Party:** in the tall, multi-level room with plants and a thin rock formation, get onto the middle balcony. Use the edge of the nearby brazier as your jumping position—not the damaging flame itself—and jump toward the rock's flatter landing surface below the skull. From there, jump and use the pickup prompt. You do not need to balance on the very tip of the rock.
Clear the room before trying that jump repeatedly. There is no benefit to having an enemy knock you off halfway through lining it up.
**Restore the transport**
Stock up before activating the moving platform. During the ride it stops, requiring you to get off and restore power above. Be ready for enemies when you activate the control, particularly the cloaked sword Elites emerging nearby. Return to the transport once the route is running again.
**Efficient:** after power is restored, pass the next bridge room. In the following room, jump onto the platform to the transport's left and run toward the locked door at the far corner for the skull. This detour enters an out-of-bounds area, so look for the pickup immediately rather than exploring. It is a poor detour to combine with a no-death attempt. Verify that the collectible registered after recovery before continuing.
At the hangar, deal with the Wraith as well as the infantry. There is a Ghost available in the room, but clear a workable approach before going for it. Finish the remaining Elites and proceed to the flight sequence.
**Fly the Seraph**
Use the aircraft's displayed controls to identify the primary weapon, missiles, throttle and evasive maneuver before getting absorbed in the scenery. Against enemy Seraphs, wait for a proper lock rather than firing missiles as soon as a target enters the screen. Break their shields and finish them while keeping track of the friendly craft you are protecting.
Follow the marked external targets around the Covenant ship, then respond to the threats against the Burden of Proof. Those attackers matter more than chasing an unrelated fighter away from the ship. Stay with the current objective until the final sequence resolves.
