**Fireteam Raven: where all six stages fit** Full campaign and Combat Evolved ending spoilers. Story companion, not a boss-mechanics walkthrough. Fireteam Raven is doing something different from simply letting another squad follow Chief from room to room. These soldiers are defending the ship, securing supplies, protecting the survivors, and buying time for a mission they do not fully understand. **1. Escape** You start aboard the Pillar of Autumn as the Covenant board it. Raven's job is holding back those attackers, then getting off the ship in their drop pods. This runs alongside the opening of Combat Evolved, but it is the ODST evacuation rather than Chief's route to a lifeboat. **2. Rubble** The team reaches the Autumn's crash site and joins Lieutenant McKay's effort to reclaim supplies. Weapons and vehicles are not just scenery here; the surviving human force needs them to keep fighting. The mission is a raid on the wreck, not the final attempt to destroy it. **3. Alpha Base** The supplies have a destination: the UNSC position on the mesa. Raven helps defend Alpha Base when the Covenant attack. Before the fighting is completely settled, the team is redirected toward another threat. This gives the base and its defenders a place in the games beyond the story you hear around Chief's mission. **4. Ice Canyon** That new threat is the Flood. Raven fights through the canyon to help clear the way for Chief, without being told the whole plan he is carrying out. The setting overlaps the control-room region, but this is not a replacement version of Assault on the Control Room or Two Betrayals. **5. Raven Down** The team's Falcon is brought down, leaving them to survive the Flood and fight toward shelter inside a Forerunner structure. They eventually get out and head for the Autumn. The crash is part of the story, not evidence that you failed an optional aircraft-protection objective earlier. **6. Last Stand** Raven comes at the Covenant forces near the Autumn from behind, deploying in a Warthog and fighting to stop the assault. The resistance includes a Scarab. Their job is to buy Chief enough time to destroy the ship's fusion drives and the ring with them. The team does not escape Halo's destruction. That is the fixed story ending. They succeed at giving Chief the time he needs, and the story ends with that sacrifice. That is the part of Raven that makes it worth separating from a normal Chief walkthrough. Halo's first campaign has a lot happening beyond the stretch of battlefield you personally see. This puts one of those other teams in front of you.
