**The Sequence and Nexus: four beacons, then the route underground** *Mission and boss spoilers ahead.* *Mission spoilers below.* The Sequence is a navigation problem before it is a shooting problem. You need four separate data stops, and it is easy to turn that into a lot of unnecessary driving. Nexus is the opposite: a mostly linear descent where preparation before each locked room matters more than choosing a route across the map. **Start at the Command Spire** After the Pelican journey, clear the Command Spire entrance and interact with its terminal. The failed access attempt gives you four beacon objectives. Each beacon follows the same essential sequence: clear its defenders, use the exterior access terminal, enter, descend to the data console and retrieve its part of the sequence. Return to the Command Spire after all four. [Mission structure](https://t.co/p6g8M9Duyz) A captured Banshee can shorten travel, but it is not mandatory. If you fly, land with an exit route and do not hover over the strongest anti-vehicle fire. On foot or in a ground vehicle, use nearby FOBs for resupply and fast travel where available. Do not keep a nearly destroyed vehicle simply because you have already driven it a long way. **A workable beacon circuit** **East:** approach the hill and bridge carefully. Clear the ranged positions before crossing, then remove the gun emplacement near the beacon. Keep the Threat Sensor ready for a camouflaged Elite instead of assuming every attacker will remain visible. **South:** the two Wraiths are the main problem. Use terrain to break their firing angles while attacking with suitable heavy weapons, or seize a safe opportunity to take a vehicle. Do not charge across the open approach while both tanks are free to track you. **North:** Ghosts and airborne enemies can make a careless advance messy. Deal with the vehicles, then clear the remaining defenders. Shock weapons provide a useful option against the vehicles if you have them. **West/southwest:** prepare for two Hunters and a dangerous Elite. Isolate the threats with distance and cover instead of allowing the entire group to attack at once. Bring heavy ammunition and avoid assuming that a sword will solve the Hunter pair. [Beacon defenses](https://t.co/nq9aF9WHL1) The order is a planning convenience, not a secret requirement. If your nearest FOB makes another order shorter, use it. What matters is finishing the interior terminal at every beacon; winning the fight outside is only half the stop. On **Normal**, concentrate on learning each compound's layout and where its access console sits. On **Heroic**, clear the enemy controlling your approach before moving into the compound. On **Legendary**, arrive with a plan for the major threat: heavy fire for the tanks and Hunters, a sensor for camouflage, and a retreat that does not run directly into another patrol. **All four Sequence audio logs** Every beacon contains one Banished pad in its underground corridor before the data-console room. Collect it on the way in, rather than assuming the sequence download includes the log. - **North — Reintroduction:** descend the entrance tunnel; the pad is ahead on the corridor route. - **East — Assumptions:** follow the tunnel into the interior and collect the pad along the passage before the console chamber. - **South — Xalanyn:** descend into the beacon and look beside the body along the passage. - **West/southwest — A Curious Directive:** follow the descending corridor to the pad on the path before proceeding into the console room. [Individual beacon-log locations](https://t.co/YDZE6YzAjJ) The exterior cores and other Reformation collectibles belong to the separate regional sweep. These four audio logs are the mission's own collection task; there is no hidden skull inside one of these beacon chambers. Once the fourth sequence component is collected, return to the Command Spire's entrance and use its terminal. Before going underground, top up ammunition and check equipment upgrades. You are about to trade the open map for consecutive interior encounters. **Nexus: through the combat rooms** Follow the route down through the first chambers. At the large window overlooking the lower area, use the path on the left to descend. Clear the following corridor and its ambush, then continue into the larger combat room. Watch the upper platforms as well as the floor. [Early Nexus route](https://t.co/roySFambHj) This is a good place to keep the Threat Sensor working. A sensor placed ahead of a bend provides information before you commit to it, and that is more useful than firing it only after a sword Elite reaches you. Deal with exposed Skimmers without forgetting the enemies behind their firing line. Eventually you reach the Hunter pair. Use the room's pillars and other cover to block one Hunter while damaging the other. Check the weapon racks and ammunition supplies without sprinting into the center under fire. On Normal, you have more time to correct a poor position; on Heroic and Legendary, enter with the weapon you intend to use already loaded. After the Hunters, descend through the opening and reach the gondola. Activate it and fight the Sentinels during the crossing. At the far side, wait for the energy bridge and cross to the Nexus chamber. Deploy the Weapon at the central console to begin the next objective. [Hunters-to-Nexus route](https://t.co/ZJWUkpDjHk) **Both Nexus audio logs** **The Mission** is automatic. It unlocks during the Nexus access sequence after the hologram-room scene; there is no pad to hunt for. **Barely Anything Left** is the physical pickup. From the hologram room, take the middle door among the three passages leading toward the power seeds. Immediately inside, look left near the weapon rack. The pad is tucked behind the adjacent pillar. Collect it before completing the power-seed loop. [Nexus collectible locations](https://t.co/DLiMHPby2R) **Power the lift** The three side routes supply three seeds for the central sockets. Clear each route, retrieve its seed and return it to the hub. In the route where removing the seed switches off the energy bridge, use the Grappleshot to cross the gap safely. Confirm your grapple target before stepping into the void. Once all three sockets are powered, use the central terminal and take the gravity lift onward. [Power-seed objective](https://t.co/ZJWUkpDjHk) Do not treat carrying a seed as a reason to ignore surviving Sentinels. Put it down if you need to fight, recover control of the passage and then transport it. On Legendary, an extra safe trip is much faster than repeating the entire encounter after a rushed crossing. Nexus has no named boss fight and no skull. Its hard checks are the Hunter room, the gondola defense and safe movement while restoring power. Finish those cleanly and you are ready for The Command Spire.
