**Warship Gbraakon and Foundation: the opening route, both skulls, and Tremonius** *Mission spoilers below, including boss encounters.* The opening two missions teach the habits that will carry you through Infinite: break a firing line before it surrounds you, use the Grappleshot to reposition, and stop at obvious transitions long enough to collect what is nearby. Neither mission requires a trick jump or an out-of-bounds shortcut to finish. This route covers a fresh campaign. On a replay, your later equipment can make the fighting easier. The collectible stops still apply. **Warship Gbraakon: reach the bridge** After the Pilot's control setup, board the warship and follow the highlighted route through its corridors. Use AI Scan if a doorway is unclear. Cross damaged sections with the Grappleshot rather than trying to squeeze a sprint jump out of a bad angle. Work through the first control rooms, then the exterior passage and elevator. Fight from the edge of each new room. Grunts are cheap targets for precision shots; shielded Jackals are a reason to keep a plasma weapon rather than spend your entire rifle magazine on a shield. When a Brute moves toward your cover, back through a cleared doorway instead of retreating into an unexplored room. The safest floor is one whose enemies you have already removed. At the bridge, expect a more crowded fight and a mobile Brute carrying a Ravager. Deal with that pressure before standing in the center to fire at distant targets. Use the available weapon racks as a resupply point once the immediate area is safe. **Collect before starting the escape** - **The Plan:** automatically added through story progression. There is no hidden physical pad to search for. - **Infinity Down:** after the elevator on the route to the bridge, look directly ahead at the floor beside the stacked containers. - **Boom skull:** in the two-level room with moving cargo machinery on the right, reach the upper walkway and ride the middle rising platform. Step right at the top onto the skull's ledge. Do this after clearing the room, not while trading fire. - **Loss, Escharum's Testimony:** on the bridge, stay to the right after entering. Follow the short ramp down and turn right; the orange pad is near the weapon rack and door. Collect it before overloading the ship. When the stasis-beam plan changes, destroy the two cooling manifolds below the control deck. Scan highlights the targets. Return to the control deck and activate the engine-overload control, then follow the escape route to the Pilot. [Mission objective sequence](https://t.co/6HqPG2hn9t) The escape is not a room-clearing challenge. Shoot an enemy if it physically blocks your route or threatens the next jump, then keep moving. Look at the landing surface before firing the grapple. Grabbing the nearest wall is not helpful if it swings you away from the exit. **Normal:** use this level to try unfamiliar Banished guns. You have room to experiment, but reload behind cover rather than in a doorway. **Heroic:** prioritize the enemy forcing you out of position. A Ravager shot and a nearby Brute are a worse combination than several distant Grunts. **Legendary:** keep encounters small. Peek from one side of cover, finish an exposed target, then reset. Do not assume a grapple toward an enemy is an escape tool; grappling to a cleared position is much safer. **Foundation: find the Weapon, then follow the signal** Fight across the broken approach and enter the Forerunner interior. Clear enemies before crossing narrow platforms; falling is not a problem armor upgrades will solve. Take the gravity lift, cross the broken structures, and follow the bridge through the moving pillars to the Weapon. After meeting her, continue through the memory sequence and into the next combat chamber. Follow the signal to the bridge that lacks power. Take the power seed from below the bridge, return it to the socket, and cross to the source. Later, activate the bridge controls in the larger combat hall and fight across toward its exit. The route then reaches an inactive gravity lift. Remove the elevated sniper, grapple onto that platform for the seed, and power the lift below. Continue to the fallen Spartan and inspect the body to obtain the shield equipment. Clear the following room, check the elevator terminal, and follow the new marker for its power seed. [Foundation route](https://t.co/v56AzuKeTM) **Foundation's four collectible entries** **Cowbell skull:** after obtaining the Weapon, reach the large chamber with tall structural ribs and enemies on the walkway. Return toward the entrance after clearing them. Scan above the first tall support near that entrance; the skull is on a high overhead beam. Grapple onto a lower support first, allow the grapple to recharge, then climb to the beam. Do not sprint off the support while looking upward. [Cowbell landmark](https://t.co/pnjXAF06OZ) **The Question:** automatically unlocked during the story sequence. Check the Database rather than searching for a loose pad. **Cylix, Escharum's Testimony:** in the large hall where the Weapon constructs the bridges, clear the route to the far exit. The Banished pad is immediately left of that exit door, beyond the room's turret position. **Not My Fault, Prisoner:** at the final elevator's power-seed detour, follow the long walkway to the seed console. The UNSC pad is to the console's left. Take it before carrying the seed back. [Foundation audio-log landmarks](https://t.co/hHMb4HRggc) **Tremonius: control the room before the boss controls you** Return the seed, restore the elevator's power and use the terminal. Tremonius arrives with two Jackals. Remove those escorts first so you have somewhere to recover without taking side fire. Tremonius uses a Hydra at range, a Bulldog up close, and a jump pack to close distance. Distance alone is not protection: his launcher still reaches you. Break line of sight with the room's solid cover and grapple away when he commits to a close attack. Strip his shield with plasma, then switch to your damage weapon. [Tremonius behavior and weapons](https://t.co/ieB1PGkpQu) On **Normal**, concentrate on recognizing the switch from shooting to pursuit. Stop firing early enough to escape the rush. On **Heroic**, enter with a full plasma weapon and a reliable backup, and remove both Jackals before settling into a boss-damage rhythm. On **Legendary**, choose your next piece of cover before you peek. If the boss advances, move first and attack after he lands; do not gamble the run on finishing his last sliver of health while your shields are gone. A useful rhythm is shield damage, cover, relocation, then another controlled burst. Keep a little pressure when safe so his shield does not simply recover, but survival takes priority over maintaining fire. The Pulse Carbine is a practical shield-stripping choice, with a Sidekick or another kinetic weapon for the exposed health bar. [Boss loadout guidance](https://t.co/I6LbJHWA4M) After he falls, use the elevator to continue toward the surface. Before leaving this pair of missions behind, confirm both skull entries and all six audio-log entries, including the two automatic ones. Missing a pickup now means a replay later, not a ruined campaign.
